Russian Kindergarten – Russian Cultural Center

Officially licensed by the State of Texas, Medvedica Kindergarten is located at 2008 Justin Lane, Building A, Austin TX 78757 and is open from 8am to 6pm ( Monday – Friday) for babies from 18 months to school age. Wonderful experienced teachers with pedagogical and medical education work in the kindergarten. All teachers speak Russian, so your kids will have a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the language environment. The group in the kindergarten is small – up to 12 children. The ratio of educators to children is 1:4, which makes it possible to remove sufficient attention to each. Since children are of different ages, children are divided into groups for developing activities. We have a huge amount of educational materials and toys for every taste. Kids spend a lot of time outside. The courtyard of the garden is very cozy and covered from the sun by a huge shady tree, so even in summer it is comfortable for children to walk. You can come to see the kindergarten and get to know the teachers in advance. If you have any additional questions, please write to e-mail: [email protected] and we will be happy to tell you more about our kindergarten.

It is important for a child to know that he is a miracle. That since the beginning of the world there has not been, and until the end of the world there will be no other child like him. – Pablo Casals Where can you find such an atmosphere in which the child will not develop safely and calmly, but will also feel like a real miracle? An atmosphere in which his natural genius manifests in full and where the wildest dreams will not be neglected? There’s a place like this in Austin!

Medveditsa Kindergarten is licensed by the State of Texas. What is unique about this garden? First of all, the fact that it employs educators who, in addition to teaching, also have a medical education. Educators speak Russian, which allows children to keep Russian as their native language, along with English. Educators are not just highly educated people, they are people who are passionate about what they do.

Children are offered a huge selection of educational games. In addition to activities that develop fine motor skills, children also actively play outdoor games on the street. The whole space is equipped so that the children are comfortable and interested.

Children sleep during the day. The children also eat in the kindergarten. They also took care that the food was tasty and varied.

Kindergarten is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Cost of staying here: $45 – half day, $90 costs a full day, and a whole week costs $450. You pay only for the time spent in the kindergarten. There is no registration fee and there is no charge for days missed due to illness or travel.

In order to start attending the Medveditsa Kindergarten, you need to fill out a form, provide a copy of your vaccinations or a letter of refusal to vaccinate, bring a sleeping bag, a change of clothes, diapers and a bottle.
