Games on the beach – Kindergarten No. 119, Kaliningrad

Games on the beach

The article was prepared by: physical education instructor Nikulina O.V.

The beach season is in full swing, many families are trying to spend more time on the beach. This is right, because it is useful for children to run on the sand, breathe sea air, swim and take sunbaths, all this strengthens the child’s immunity. I offer you games that you can play with your child. The beach is a giant sandbox that children of all ages love to play in.

Gold Digger

We all love to find treasure. You, too, can please your baby with a search for, if not gold, then at least copper. To do this, take a sieve or a fine mesh and a handful of coins with you to the beach. While the child is playing somewhere nearby, scatter the coins in a certain place and sprinkle them with sand. When everything is ready, give the baby a sieve and let him “dig for gold.”

Pour and Measure”

Pour and measure water, using, of course, clean household dishes – a great activity for kids not only at home, but also on the beach. Collect plastic jars, medicine bottles, etc. Toddlers love to play with water, especially when they don’t have to be afraid to spill it and splash something.

Sounds of Sand

Take plastic bottles and glasses of different sizes, kinder boxes, an empty matchbox, a plastic bag, etc. to the beach. Show your child that sand poured into different containers sounds different. Shake the bottles, cups, boxes, listen to the sounds. Be sure to explain why this is happening.

Sand Paintings

Keep the surface of the sand smooth and damp, and have the child draw something on it with a stick or twig. Correcting mistakes “artist” is allowed only for one minute. You can learn to write letters and numbers.

Sand Castle

Help your child build a beautiful sand castle. Tell him what items to find to strengthen this complex structure – shells, pebbles, twigs, ice cream sticks and bottle caps. (Before you leave, don’t forget to throw it all in the bin or trash can.) If you first make a foundation using a bucket of sand as a large form, then you can build a variety of superstructures on it using plastic cups or margarine boxes. Take with you to the beach more different items suitable for this purpose.

Builder’s Tip

If your child is struggling to build such a complex structure, you can simply pile sand into a pile, small at first, then bigger and bigger. See how much the baby has enough strength.

“Footprints”

Show your child different prints on the wet sand (from shells, buckets, balls, stones, etc. And offer to guess who left this mysterious footprint. You can switch roles – children love it very much. And finally , leave prints of your hands and feet

Be healthy and happy!

how you can earn money in 2022

As you know, our people are becoming more active and more experienced in the struggle for their rights. And the right to free and free access to any beach for each person is spelled out in the Water Code – as there are legislative restrictions on development and economic activity in beach areas. And although the list of annual violations of these standards would amount to hundreds of fat volumes, nevertheless, earnings from paid entrance to the beach itself are inexorably fading into the past.

By the way, the legislative norms on “coastal zones” are set out in articles 60-62 of the Land Code and expanded in articles 88-90 of the Water Code, which were significantly amended in 2010.

As for the term “beach”, which for many years did not have an accurate description in national regulations, the concept of “beach zone” since 2010 has been defined in Article 1 of the Water Code. The differences between “beach” and “coastal” zones (when the coast is not a beach) are described in article 88 of the Water Code in paragraphs 17-18. Finally, about the free access of visitors to the sea beaches, the same document says:

“Unhindered and free access of citizens for general water use is provided to the coast of the seas, sea bays and estuaries within the beach zone, except for land plots on which hydrotechnical, hydrometric and linear structures, sanatoriums and other medical and recreational institutions, children’s health camps are located” , – says paragraph 19 of Article 88 of the Water Code of Ukraine.

In addition, there are numerous local government ordinances for beaches and coastal areas in regions and localities. In particular, the above normative paragraph on the freeness of sea beaches is sometimes practically duplicated in meaning by local authorities in relation to lake and river beaches in the territory subject to legislators.

However, it is possible to make money on the beaches in the warm season in another way than by charging a “subscription fee”. This can be done, among other things, with the help of such non-standard service and trading ideas.

Beach lockers

Not a new idea, but still not spreading as fast as it could. So, most visitors to highly visited beaches are faced with a problem: they want to go into the water with the whole company, but someone needs to look after things. The situation is “treated” easily – by installing storage lockers in the farthest part of the beach for a small fee (3-5 hryvnia per hour or 20-30 hryvnia for more than one hour).

Cells can be compartments with a cloakroom attendant (and you have a socially useful opportunity to employ a pensioner, student or disabled person for a minimum hourly wage). In addition, such a system allows you to put a refrigerator next to the cloakroom attendant – and offer customers with food to store them not in a simple cell, but in a cooling one.

Of course, this option is convenient if the beach where you want to make money is compact – so that visitors can walk from any place of rest to the luggage room and back in a minute or two.

But on long beaches, you will have to put quite a lot of such “wardrobes”, at least once every 100 meters – and hire a lot of staff for them. However, even such a scheme will turn out to be highly profitable – especially if your “cloakroom attendants” will simultaneously work as sellers or renters of various items useful on the beach.

If you have a lot of business points on a long beach (say, attractions, trestle beds, kiosks, dry closets) and you just want to increase the attractiveness and attendance of the beach, along with the demand for your points of sale of services and goods – use this idea in a free mode, to increase visitor loyalty.

Namely: put up several blocks with a dozen or two self-service cameras every 50-100 meters with keys to each cell (attach a huge key chain to each key – otherwise the keys will often be lost in sand or pebbles, because there are “clothing pockets” on the beach the concept is almost non-existent). On these lockers, do not forget to indicate mobile phones and the location of your employees who control the lockers – it is optimal if they are caretakers of attractions located at the edge of the surf, from where several blocks of your lockers can be seen at once. However, constant guard patrols are also possible here – it is quite appropriate if the beach (a rather conflict-prone place) is filled with your various business projects with relatively expensive equipment.

Do not forget to use all the walls and doors of the lockers to advertise your other services and goods on this beach – this also applies to pay cameras like “wardrobe”. Conversely, don’t forget to advertise your luggage storage on your other business points on this beach. The ease of use of this service will surely increase visitor traffic to the beach – and quickly increase demand for other aspects of your beach business.

Finally, we note that there are beach cells on electronic bracelets for sale – read below about the prices and nuances of such a startup. However, it seems to us that this company took into account only compartments for bags, but did not develop compartments meter high with the ability to neatly hang clothes on a hook or hanger. But many visitors would hand over wrinkled clothes on the beach for storage. By the way, with the option with a cloakroom attendant, hanging dresses is easier to implement – just install hangers, as in theatrical wardrobes.

Therefore, you, a startup, are given the opportunity to improve and develop this invention that does not require expensive investments – making it massively popular, used by every visitor to the beach.

Cream application, massage, blow dryer

For some reason, the domestic beach business is all focused on food, adrenaline and portraiture – forgetting such an engine of trade and a source of super-profits as comfort, maximum comfort for poor citizens. Street services in the field of the beauty industry are also forgotten, acquiring special shades on beaches and reservoirs.

Even the business of renting trestle beds and beach umbrellas is not implemented anywhere on public beaches (or, in its implementation, trestle beds are chosen on the principle of maximum cheapness) – precisely because of the underestimation of the inclination of fellow citizens with little income to comfort. It is enough to get to the South Slavic countries to make sure that this approach is erroneous: a great many of “our” people actively use paid beach comfort and beauty services there, including from villages and towns – people who cannot be suspected even of incomes at the middle class level .

One of the worthy options for beach service at the intersection of comfort and beauty industries is manual massage application of creams for sunburn, sunburn, afterburning. Many people find it easier and more pleasant to spend, say, 10 hryvnias for the delicate professional application of 1/10 of a tube of cream – than to buy the entire tube, say, for 50 hryvnias and apply it personally (although the second one is half the price). For those who are embarrassed by touch, spray application can be offered.

For this business, it is enough to hire a professional masseuse – and provide her and her clients with a comfortable workplace (in a covered tent with a portable outdoor air conditioner).

Of course, in addition to the application of creams, the service of the actual massage can also be provided – so to speak, its inexpensive form. Make extensive use of “take a favor, take a second half price” methods at such a point, and visitors will linger at this beach tent for a long time. We give 100 against 1 that two weeks after the opening of the point you will have to hire a second masseuse in the tent – since this service is long, and the flow of people will be very dense.

Note that having developed such points, you can safely turn to cosmetic companies, cream manufacturers with proposals for joint projects – these companies will gladly begin to supply you with branded jobs for your masseuses, creams at wholesale prices and so on.

In addition, for 2-4 hryvnias, it is possible to provide such a service as spraying clothes, bags, bedding with insect spray or applying insect repellent creams to the body – this is very appropriate on river and lake beaches in “mosquito” areas, but also at sea too.

Finally, for 1-2 hryvnias, it is appropriate to provide the services of a powerful hair dryer-blower – which allows not only to dry hair, but, most importantly, to instantly dry wet sand adhering to the body and then sweep most of it off the body.

And of course, any make-up, braiding, face painting – all this would also be in demand on the beach. Especially in view of the possibility of washing off all the “beauty” after the photo session – in the waves of the reservoir.

Vending plasters, bandages

Of course, plasters, bandages, healing creams, other medical and hygienic goods that do not require a license to sell – all this can and should be sold on the beach and in the usual way, for example, in the same “left-luggage offices”. However, it will not be possible to widely advertise the availability of these pharmacy products at non-pharmacy points of sale – otherwise you will scare many visitors who do not want, if possible, to have nothing to do with medicine on vacation.

Therefore, you must admit that a separate beautiful self-service vending machine with a glass display case and a huge green pharmaceutical cross on top, containing the same plasters and napkins, is an order of magnitude more beautiful, modern, noticeable, more stylish than an ordinary counter or kiosk.

And even more profitable: a set of plasters for 10 hryvnias (at a purchase price of 2 hryvnias) will be bought in a vending machine on the beach by someone who would grumble at a regular outlet and go looking for the nearest pharmacy with “prices without cheating”.

Book rental

Everything here, I think, is immediately clear: for 2-3 hryvnias (and a deposit in the amount of the cost of the book) provide an opportunity on the beach to read something good, for different tastes. For example, such books – and hundreds and thousands of options.

Paid download of e-books, charging gadgets

Although the service is new, it will not last long: it is intended for those who own an e-book reader or a phone with such a function, but do not have Internet access from a phone or tablet, or do not have the ability to pay online for an e-book that is not available on the network is free.

Many of these citizens will gladly take the opportunity at the entrance to the beach for a single hryvnia to download this or that new e-book (or audiobook, and just music) to their gadget – to read / listen to it while sunbathing. If the speed of the Internet allows, it will be possible to download movies at such a point for money – which will cause great demand even among owners of mobile, but low-speed Internet.

And if you have an outlet with a computer, attach numerous hubs with connectors to it, allowing visitors to charge their gadgets for a “little money”. Indeed, on average, every tenth person who went out into the street with an almost discharged gadget still forgets to charge it at a hotel or at home.

Posts with hooks, handrails with attached toys

Finally, two ideas that cannot be directly “sold” to the user, but which are designed to increase the convenience of beach visitors and, thereby, entice them to use your paid services on it.

Firstly, we note that even if there is a trestle bed and an umbrella, there is nowhere to hang clothes on the beach – it will either get into the sand, or get wet from wet bodies, or wrinkle from sitting and lying on it, or the clothes will begin to be blown away by the wind; Or it will happen all at once. We suggest to dig numerous poles with hooks for clothes into the beach – solid gusts of breeze preventing the removal of clothes from the hook.

Secondly, it will be very nice if you attach numerous low handrails near the coastline (say, with the letter “p”, like bicycle parking), on which you can fasten a lot of children’s shovels, buckets, cars on long chains.

Parents (not squeamish) will highly appreciate the opportunity for children to play in the sand without taking sandy-wet toys from the beach. In addition, the children themselves will also quickly turn the handrail into an element of the game.

In addition, the handrails allow you to sit on them for a while to watch the bathing children. They will also allow mooring boats to be fixed anywhere on the beach. Finally, tie just loose cords to the rails – and citizens who hide bottles of drinks in cold sand in shallow water for cooling, will be able to secure these containers with cords to prevent them from “floating away”.

Beach storage cells: the price and profitability of a startup

Not only thieves, but also law-abiding entrepreneurs can make money on the insecurity of things beachgoers. The first – hunting for the property of bathers, the second – keeping it from the first.

The idea to build beach lockers came during regular trips to Crimean resorts. “The same picture was observed everywhere: people, coming to the beach, cannot fully relax, worrying about the safety of things,” said the head of one of these projects, Vladislav Zarichansky. – Vacationers, before plunging into the sea, ask unfamiliar neighbors on the beach to look after things. Or part of the company goes to swim, while the other is waiting for its turn at the “battle post”. Thus, a firm that had previously specialized mainly in publishing and advertising opened up a new business for itself.

Turnkey business

The company has not just taken over the production of metal lockers, similar to those you see in supermarkets, and keys to them, it offers the buyers of lockers – a business. Includes:

  • delivery and installation of complete sets of equipment (boxes, locks, keys and plastic key bracelets),
  • business plan and recommended rates business manual,
  • advice on the placement of cells, organization of the workplace and building relationships with beach owners and tax authorities, taking into account the difficult realities of Ukrainian legislation.

Mr. Zarichansky claims that his company is the pioneer of such a business not only in the country, but also in the world, and in confirmation he demonstrates a patent for the idea from the Department of Intellectual Property. Starting in 2009 with the installation and operation of lockers on the beaches of the Crimea and Kyiv, a year later, MVK Group began selling beach storage cells (PYAC) to Bulgaria and Russia. “There are also contacts with entrepreneurs from Abkhazia and Georgia,” Vladislav admits. “Businessmen from Spain, Greece and Cyprus showed interest.” At the same time, in the first season, the service was not particularly in demand: vacationers perceived the beach curiosity with distrust.

By someone else’s hands

The company consists of project managers only. The production of PYAH, as well as the implementation of all other areas, was outsourced. Cabinets are manufactured by a metalwork plant, silicone bracelets, uniforms for operators and inventory are purchased from other domestic firms, locks are imported. It remains for MVK Group to complete all this and deal with logistics. Initially, the NUCs were leased out, but since all the tenants have bought out the cells, the company, in accordance with the market situation, is now only selling kits.

The retail price of a 24-cell cabinet is UAH 3,650, and the company’s margin, according to Mr. Zarichansky, is 10%.

The company claims that more than UAH 220,000 was invested in the development and implementation of the project: in the design and production of non-standard models of lockers, the purchase of components, the conclusion of contracts with beach administrations, the registration of a patent, the promotion of the product.

According to the company’s calculations, for a beach area of 70×20 sq. m with a occupancy of 400–600 people per day, it is recommended to install two sections of 24 cells. They can bring 9thousand UAH per month based on the cost of renting a cell 20 UAH per day for the end user and taking into account all the risks (low interest in the service, bad weather).

True, this amount does not include the “kickback” of the beach administration, which, according to Mr. Zarichansky himself, in especially “fishy” recreation areas reaches $3,000, thus eating up almost the entire seasonal profit.

Boxes will endure everything

The company recognizes that the sale of NPCs is a seasonal business. They start buying equipment in anticipation of the beach season, and in mid-July, interest in it dries up. The company compensates for seasonality through other activities, including the sale of other products of the locker factory.

Meanwhile, you can increase the income from the operation of the cells by using the lockers and the customer service area as an advertising and sales platform. Boxes can be branded, used for promotion.

“Last year we entered into a verbal agreement with several publishing houses on the subject of comprehensive branding of the PJH and the formation of a network for the sale of printed publications directly through beach storage operators,” Vladislav shares his experience.
