Historical background : By the decision of the executive committee of the Irkutsk City Council of People’s Deputies dated July 23, 1985 No. 16/471 “On the allocation of a land plot to the capital construction department for the construction of the Universitetsky microdistrict”, a land plot of 45.92 was allocated to the capital construction department hectares for the construction of the Universitetsky microdistrict due to the withdrawal of this site from the East Siberian branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences, part of which with an area of ​​36 hectares was transferred for temporary use to the Kaisky state farm, in the Sverdlovsk region, between the Pervomaisky residential area and the territory of the State University complex. From that moment, the formation of the Kindergarten began – a nursery for 145 places, attached to the end of a residential building. The project of the institution was accepted for production on 27.09.1989, corrected according to the proposals of the GORSES, the comments of the UPO of the regional executive committee and taking into account the requirements of VSN -49-86 “Children’s preschool institutions”. The construction of the kindergarten began on 09/03/1990 and was completed on 07/30/1993. From 11/04/1993, the first employees were admitted to the kindergarten. The institution was called “Kindergarten for 145 children B-10”. By the Decree of the Head of the Irkutsk City Administration dated November 18, 1993 No. 23/1112 “On the commissioning of a kindergarten for 145 places B-10 in the Universitetsky district, built by the Irkutskstroyzakazchik enterprise”, the preschool institution was assigned a postal address and No. 167. Kindergarten No. 167 was put on the balance sheet of the department of public education, and the land plot on which the preschool educational institution was located was in perpetual (permanent) use of the Capital Construction Department of the Irkutsk Administration. Decree of the mayor of the city of Irkutsk dated 07/06/1998, No. 031-06-766 / 8 “On the transfer of objects to municipal ownership”, kindergarten No. 167 was transferred to the municipal ownership of the city of Irkutsk and renamed the Municipal Preschool Educational Institution Kindergarten No. 167 on the right of operational management.

25 years is just a moment for history, but for many generations of graduates (and there are more than 1000 of them), kindergarten employees, this is an unforgettable event that gives wonderful memories of bright everyday life and opens up new pages of creative activity. This wonderful history of the institution and the team was created by initiative employees – they are all one big and friendly family from several generations, selflessly in love with their work. Everyone had to work hard, overcome many difficulties in order to achieve amazing success.

From the moment the kindergarten was founded and opened until 2005, Tatyana Eduardovna Lazo headed the preschool. This leader laid the foundation for a full-fledged work process of a preschool institution and the basis for the work of a friendly and close-knit team. After 2005, Svetlana Innokentievna Samokhina acted as the kindergarten head, from 2007-2008 Nina Viktorovna Pulyarova was the head of the kindergarten, from 2009 to 2016 Oksana Sergeevna Kondrya was the head of the preschool educational institution, from 2017 to the present, the management of the institution has been entrusted to Zueva Elena Valerievna.

Since the kindergarten employees have been striving for many years to create an atmosphere of love and joy for children, to make the life of children interesting and meaningful. The reverent, careful attitude to each child, enthusiasm, conscientiousness, initiative and sincere interest of employees remain unchanged.

MBDOU of Irkutsk Kindergarten No. 167 occupies a special place in the city among other preschool institutions and enjoys authority among citizens living not only in the Universitetsky microdistrict, but throughout the city.

Indeed, thanks to their caring hands and hearts, open to any children’s questions, more than one generation of children has grown up, who, having become parents, now bring their children to our kindergarten. Our kindergarten is remembered by graduates, and we, in turn, are proud of their success.

Over the entire period of its existence, a strong, hard-working, creative team has developed in the institution.

Guslyakova Natalya Grigorievna has been and remains a wonderful music director from the moment the kindergarten was founded to this day. Children and parents are delighted with thematic holidays, musical evenings prepared by this talented and hardworking person. She strives not only to teach children to sing and dance beautifully, but also to awaken the sprouts of creativity in her pupils.

Olga Vadimovna Podlevskaya, a physical education instructor, makes a huge contribution to the upbringing of kindergarten children. Olga Vadimovna came to work at the institution more than 16 years ago and to this day remains a resilient, active teacher, participating in various events and involving children, teachers and parents in the participation.

Many parents would like their children to be raised by Gorbunova Svetlana Georgievna, Kochkina Lyubov Alekseevna, Skurkovina Nadezhda Viktorovna, Lesik Lyudmila Ivanovna. All these teachers have been working since the opening of the kindergarten. They form the core, the basis of our teaching staff.

Young teachers Igoshina Larisa Leonidovna, Konchenko Svetlana Viktorovna, Teplykh Elena Anatolievna, Nasonova Svetlana Alekseevna brought with them optimism, youthful enthusiasm, fresh energy when they came to work in our kindergarten.

Today our kindergarten is a warm and cozy home for 186 children. This is a house in which laughter, songs, poems and fairy tales sound, where children’s and adult creativity is in full swing.

But the process of educating and educating our preschool children cannot take place without faithful assistants to educators.

Ivanova Galina Petrovna, Shapovalova Svetlana Vladimirovna, Loskutnikova Lyudmila Vladimirovna have been working in our team for quite a long time. During this time, they have managed to establish themselves as responsible, loving children, true professionals in their field. Relatively recently, our team was replenished with newly arrived “nannies”: Mustafayeva Durdana, Nepomilova Tatyana Vladimirovna and Krutova Guzelya Akhlimanovna. Despite the just begun path in the field of preschool education, most of them have already established themselves as responsible, patient and competent specialists

There are two office cleaners working in the kindergarten team, namely: Buryakova Nina Innokentievna and Gorodnichenko Natalia Sergeevna. These people keep order in the entire institution of the kindergarten. Their work is truly invaluable.

Washing machine operator Oksana Aleksandrovna Krutova joined the staff of our kindergarten more than eight years ago and to this day remains an indispensable person for the entire kindergarten.

Janitor Shulgin Viktor Afanasyevich – his inconspicuous work is in fact irreplaceable. Thanks to Viktor Afanasyevich, our garden is always clean and comfortable.

Maslov Andrey Vasilievich has been working in the MBDOU of Irkutsk kindergarten No. 167 as a watchman since 2005. Recently, his team was replenished: Shibeko Semyon Arkadyevich and Podlevsky Andrey Pavlovich, together they organize continuous work to protect and maintain order throughout the institution.
