Description:
Our Mission is to provide exceptional care for infants and toddlers. We serve both children and their parents. Being parents ourselves, (Suzanne has five children and Jennifer has two) we are fully aware of thevalid concerns parents have when leaving their children in someone else’s care. Number one, will my child be safe? Can I relax and focus on work rather than worrying that the environment is not safe, or that the provider is not competent enough or keeping a close enough eye on my child. Number two, is my child happy? Is he receiving the kindness and attention that he needs? Is his environment clean, and stimulating yet peaceful? Is he being fed tasty, nutritious foods. Is he being fed, changed, and allowed to rest and play according to his personal needs and schedule. Does he have consistent providers that help him feel safe, secure, cared about and loved? Do I know that he is being cared for as well or better than I would care for him myself ? We hope you find yourself saying a resounding yes to all of these questions. Our goal is to be your child’s “home away from home”, yet better. A homey place where he feels safe, comfortable and loved AND a fun, and educational place. where trained staff, who enjoy children, give 100% of their time and energy to providing a variety of activities, that are both stimulating and educational Recent research has found that the time and attention given to children three and under makes a big difference in their ability to be happy and successful in life. Again our mission is to provide the best of both worlds for both parents and children. Consistent, planned, educational care by trained professionals, and still all the comforts of home, like each child having their own comfy cute crib, and blanket to rest with. We hope ‘Daydreams will be the childcare program of you dreams. A place you can leave your precious little one and know he is happy and safe.,…

Lesson Plans Meet Your Child’s Unique Needs
Expert teachers use the Creative Curriculum® to plan daily learning to include your child’s interests and support overall development. Engaging activities and hands-on, messy play in a carefully guided environment ignite their natural curiosity.
Open-Ended Activities Promote Independence
Child-led learning focuses on activities that engage their interests and allows discovery without the restrictions of set outcomes. Selecting the materials they want to work with promotes independence, while exploring the possibilities through play supports self-confidence.
“Loose Parts” Play
Inspires Exploration
With access to simple items made from natural wood, like napkin rings and cotton reels, your child uses their imagination to experiment. As they use loose parts to stack, count, sort, and create, they build problem-solving and self-expression skills.
Preparation For The Future
With Socio-Emotional Guidance
Teachers use the Second Step® curriculum to help children build the empathy and social tools they need for school success. With support and gentle guidance, children learn to share, take turns, and communicate effectively.
Fun And Adventures With Multiple Outdoor Playtimes
Your child gets out into the fresh air every day, whatever the weather, for the chance to let off steam. More messy, active, and loose parts play in the garden builds motor skills and a connection with nature.

We have been with Kindercare for 4. 5 years, with 2 children, and we are incredibly happy there. The staff is very attentive and genuinely interested in the kids. They do a great job managing my son’s asthma and the kids’ safety in general. They serve breakfast and lunch plus snacks, which means I’m not packing food every morning. Plus, they’re the only NAEYC accredited center in the area.

Schule Schloss Salem is a private boarding school located in southern Germany. The school was founded in 1920 by Prince Maximilian of Baden and the outstanding German educator Kurt Hahn.
Schule Schloss Salem is a private boarding school located in southern Germany. The school was founded in 1920 by Prince Maximilian of Baden and the outstanding German teacher Kurt Hahn. From the very beginning, it adhered to the classical traditions in education, despite the fact that advanced teaching methods have always been applied in accordance with the requirements of the time.
Today it is the largest international school in Germany, but it remains focused on fulfilling its main mission – educating children’s character. Pupils and graduates of the school grow up as caring people, ready to take responsibility for solving problems – their own and society as a whole.
The school has about 700 students.
Director (for 2022)
Bernd Westermeyer, education – Wartburg College; Bonn University.
Famous graduates of the school
- Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, husband of the Queen of Great Britain (studied for 2 semesters)
- Queen Sofia of Spain
- Alice Ricciardi von Platen, psychoanalyst
- Golo Mann, writer and son of writer Toman Mann
- Monika Mann, writer and daughter of writer Toman Mann

Key factors
- 35% of students are international students from over 40 countries. English is the language of communication at school along with German.
- Schule Schloss Salem is the only school in Germany to offer the unique International Classes high school program, which allows you to thoroughly prepare for further studies in the IB program.
- The ratio of students and teachers is 1:6. Each student receives almost individual attention.
- A huge number of sports activities, including water sports.
- A large number of hobby groups and activities make it possible to find and develop the talents of children in various fields and to educate comprehensively developed young people.
Equipment
The school consists of 3 campuses:
- Burg Hohenfels (for children 10-12 years old) – 80 students live here
- Salem (13-17 years old) – 270 students live here
- Salem International College (16-19 years old)
All three campuses are located at a distance of 20 minutes from each other on the picturesque shores of Lake Konstanz. From the international airports in Zurich and Stuttgart, you can drive here in 1 or 2 hours.
The school buildings are beautiful old castles surrounded by parks and vineyards. The exception is the building of the International College (Salem International College), in which the students of the last two graduating classes study. A separate center was erected especially for them, impressing with both modern design and high-tech equipment of scientific laboratories, IT rooms and classrooms.
The pride of each campus is the extensive libraries, which contain not only printed but also electronic materials. Sports infrastructure includes outdoor playing fields, a 25-meter swimming pool, a fitness center and tennis courts. In addition, students take advantage of the location of the school – the cleanest Lake Konstanz allows you to practice almost any water sport.
Program
Junior school
In grades 5-7, education takes place according to the German-language program. Basic knowledge of the German language is required. Students are trained in a special linguistic school, where they intensively learn German, and also study in regular school classes according to the academic program. Such training allows you to learn the language and very quickly integrate into the German educational system.
Secondary school
From the 8th grade, the school is taught in two languages and in two programs. Students can choose the language of instruction – German (a classical program aimed at obtaining a German Abitur in the future) or English (a unique International Classes course aimed at preparing for the International Baccalaureate program – IB). Students can change the chosen program at any stage up to grade 11, since the academic programs are absolutely identical.
High School – German Abitur
Teaching is in German. The academic year is divided into 4 semesters. Students choose their own combination of academic subjects and receive marks at the end of each semester. These scores are added to the results of the written and oral exams, and students receive a final grade and a high school diploma.
High School – International Baccalaureate (IB)
Two-year program taught in English. Pupils choose one subject from 6 groups. 3 subjects are studied at an advanced level, 3 subjects at a standard level.
The IB program also includes 3 required components:
- The theory of knowledge course.
- Essay – research work, the topic of which is chosen independently.
