AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Rohnert Park KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • My husband and I became first time parents in February 2010. We welcomed Elleree on the 25th and savored every moment of her first few months. When the realization hit me that I would have to go back to work (No!), I knew I’d have to make the hardest decision as a parent (that I’d been faced with up to that point…) when deciding on a day care provider. Many of my friends had been successful with in-home providers, but I just wasn’t 100% comfortable with that. Our decision was somewhat complicated by the fact that we both commute and I (as the Mama Bear of the family) felt better/safer with her closer to me during my work day. When we went to the Rohnert Park KinderCare we had already viewed two other daycare centers and as first time parents weren’t really sure what we should expect. We both immediately saw the difference between the first two and Rohnert Park KinderCare. I felt welcomed, like no question I had was silly, honored as a parent and like I was around people who not only cared for children but genuinely loved doing it!

I cried the first day – OK, the entire first month, every day when I dropped her off – but always, always since day one have felt comfortable and safe with her at KinderCare. It has been so fantastic to watch her grow with the help of the dedicated teachers and to see the relationships that are fostered with her friends.

We are now second time parents and Hadlee started at KinderCare in September 2013. I’m an old hand now at many of the things that used to really freak me out, but I have been increasingly impressed with KinderCare’s ability to go above and beyond to take care of my children.

There have been occasions when I have questioned things, raised an issue or wanted more information about something and I really feel like my concerns have always been addressed in a sincere way. Lisa, the Center Director, makes me feel like we are all one big family and I so appreciate that. I know that if I am uncomfortable with something, question anything or need more information I can call her, stop by her office or find her in a classroom and she always and consistently takes the time to sort out any issue. And, if she feels like she can’t really answer my questions she suggests someone who can.

I know the day will come when my girls will grow beyond KinderCare and I get teary eyed just now even thinking about it. It is so hard to be away from them every day, but knowing they are safe, being loved and learning new things makes the hours of my work day more bearable!

  • Our KinderCare story began almost three years ago. My son was at an in-home daycare, and in a moments notice I had to make a move. The first place I thought of was KinderCare. I walked in around 1:00 in the afternoon and my son started the very next day. We were welcomed with open arms and the love has only continued to grow. The amazing staff that I call family has taught my family things I couldn’t have imagined. It truly takes a village to raise a child and Rohnert Park KinderCare is the best village I could have ever asked for. They are open, flexible, supportive, caring and knowledgeable. I know they have my family’s best interests at heart. Nothing is more gratifying than knowing I am taking my children somewhere where their growing minds and bodies are fostered to the fullest. My daughter started at KinderCare three months ago and it has been an amazing experience. The staff and the the incredible environment they create for my little ones is truly unique and more than I could dream of giving them. I love the curriculum and the schedule they maintain. I love looking at the clock when I’m at work and knowing what they are doing. I could continue to go on and on because KinderCare isn’t simply where my kids are while I’m at work, KinderCare is part of my family.
A BIG thank you to the staff at the Rohnert Park KinderCare! You are all amazing!

    Amanda K. – KinderCare Parent
  • Our son started in the infant room at KinderCare around 4 months old and overall we’ve been so happy with the experience he’s had these past couple of years – he’s social, happy to walk into his classroom every morning and we’re always amazed at new things he’s learned. Leaving your infant with strangers is nerve-wracking, leaving your infant with strangers during a pandemic is horrifying – however – we immediately felt like the teachers were simply a part of our extended family.
