The SteakMaster can be used to cook #oven-like meals using the special
baking tray RAM-BP1 or aluminum mold.
1) Prepare the food
Place the food in the special RAM-BP1 or foil dish, cover with foil and fold over the edges.
2) Bake #as oven
Place the tray in the grill, cover and select manual.

How to cook
1.
Clean and rinse the fish. Put the carcass in a separate container.
2. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt and spices. Pour the marinade over the fish and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Plug in the grill. Close the lid. Set the switch to position #4. Wait for the indicator to light up. Open cover. Lay out the fish. Close the lid. Prepare
13-15 minutes.
Tip:
Sea bass goes well with creamy garlic and mint sauce. An excellent side dish for this type of fish is blanched green asparagus.
How to cook
1. Chop the garlic and dill.
2. For the sauce: put mayonnaise, garlic and dill in a separate container, add black pepper, mix until smooth.
3. Add salt and spices to the minced pork, mix thoroughly and form a round cutlet.
4. Cut mushrooms and cucumbers into slices, onions into rings, tomatoes into circles. Cut bacon and cheese into thin strips.
5. Plug in the grill. Close the lid. Set the switch to position #5. Wait for the red indicator to light up. Open cover. Cut the bun in half, put the halves on the grill. Do not close the lid. Cook 2 minutes.
6. Put the rolls on a plate, grease the panel with vegetable oil.
7. Put the cutlet on the center of the grill, put the mushrooms and bacon on the sides. Close the lid. Cook 4-5 minutes. Turn the bacon over after one minute, after another minute put it in a separate container.
8. After cooking, lay out the cutlet and mushrooms.
9. Lubricate one half of the roll with mayonnaise sauce, put the ingredients on it in the following order: pork cutlet, cheese, cucumbers, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce. Top with the second half of the roll.
Tip:
To keep the patty juicier, shape it without adding salt and pepper and freeze it in the freezer. Then rub the frozen cutlet with salt and spices, after which you can start frying.
Cooking procedure
1. Chop the garlic. In a separate container, mix paprika, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper, mix well and rub medallions with this mixture and leave for 20-30 minutes.
2. Plug in the grill. Close the lid. Set the switch to position #5. Wait for the green indicator to light up. Open cover. Lay out the medallions. Close the lid. Cook 3-4 minutes.
3. Transfer the fried medallions to a plate and cover with foil, leave for 5-7 minutes, and then serve.
Tip:
If you are using other meat than tenderloin, choose cuts without connective tissue or remove all veins. Cut the meat across, not along the grain, otherwise it will turn out tough.
Cooking procedure
1. Prepare the ingredients for the filling: cut the chicken fillet into 1–1.5 cm cubes. Chop the green onions and jalapeno peppers. Cheese grate on a coarse grater.
2. Divide all the ingredients for the filling into 2 parts – for 2 cakes. Put a piece of cheese on half of one cake. Put the chicken fillet, chopped onion and jalapeno pepper on the cheese. Sprinkle cheese on top, fold the cake in half.
3. Turn on the grill. Close the lid. Set the switch to position #3. Wait for the red indicator to light up. Open cover. Lay out the cake. Close the lid. Cook 2-3 minutes.
4. Repeat the cooking steps for the second tortilla.
Tip:
Instead of chicken, you can use bacon that has been previously grilled for 2 minutes.
Cooking procedure
1.
Clean the squid from the film. Defrost spinach, drain
liquid. Cheese grate on a coarse grater. cut tomatoes
small cubes.
2. In a separate bowl, mix spinach, tomatoes, cedar
nuts and cheese, add salt and spices, mix. received

Prepare dressing: in a separate container, mix minced garlic, balsamic vinegar and olive oil,
add salt and spices, mix.
2. Cut the eggplant into thin slices about
3–5 mm.
3. Turn on the grill. Close the lid. Set manual mode
cooking. Press the “OK” button. Wait until it starts
the ready-to-work indicator flashes and an audible
signal, and open the lid. Put a piece on the grill plate
eggplant. Close the lid. Cook 10 minutes . Remaining
cook vegetables in the same way.
4. Grease the prepared eggplants with garlic dressing.
Tip:
As spices, you can use saffron and red
pepper.
Cooking procedure
1. Grease the baguette with butter on top. Turn on the grill.
Close the lid. Set manual cooking mode. Press the button “ OK “. Wait until the indicator starts flashing

In a separate container, mix zucchini, olive oil,
garlic, basil, salt and spices, mix. Spread the zucchini in an even layer in a foil dish, put on top

to warm it up to room temperature. Grate
pepper steak.
2. Turn on the grill. Close the lid. Set the meat cooking mode. Press the “OK” button. Wait until it starts
the ready-to-work indicator flashes and an audible
signal, and open the lid. Put the steak, salt. Prepare
to the desired degree of doneness (see instructions, chapter II).
3. After cooking, open the lid and lay out the steak
on a plate, cover with foil, leave for 10 minutes.
Tip:
The steak can be served with Argentine or any other sauce.
How to cook
1. Cut the wings into phalanges, remove the first phalanx. Put the wings in a separate container, add lemon juice, vegetable oil, salt and spices, mix thoroughly and leave for 20-30 minutes.
2. Turn on the grill. Close the lid. Set the poultry cooking mode. Press the “OK” button. Wait until the Ready-to-Work indicator starts flashing and a beep sounds, and open the cover. Lay out half of the wings. Close the lid. Cook until WELL DONE (see instructions, chapter II).
3. After cooking, put the finished wings in a separate container. Prepare the remaining half of the wings in the same way.
Tip:
To ensure that the chicken wings cook evenly, cook the phalanxes of the same size.
How to cook
1. Peel the peaches and cut each into four parts.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped peaches, sugar, softened butter and cinnamon, mix.
3. Put the peaches in a foil dish. Cover the form with a sheet of foil, tuck the edges. Turn on the grill. Close the lid. Set manual cooking mode. Press the “OK” button. 4. Plug in the grill. Close the lid. Set the switch to position #4. Wait for the indicator to light up. Open cover. Put bell pepper (80 g), onion (70 g), zucchini (85 g), eggplant (100 g), cherry tomatoes (60 g). Close the lid. Cook 6-8 minutes. Cook the remaining vegetables in the same way.
Tip:
A dressing of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey is perfect for this dish.
How to cook
1. Rinse mussels. Cut celery into thin circles, chili pepper into thin feathers. Cherry cut in half.
2. In a foil form, mix all the ingredients. Cover the form with a sheet of foil, tuck the edges.
3. Plug in the grill. Close the lid. Set the switch to position #5. Wait for the indicator to light up. Open cover. Put the dish with mussels on the grill plate. Close the lid. Cook 15 minutes.
How to cook
1. Grind lemon grass. Cut green onions into feathers.
2. In a foil form, mix all the ingredients. Cover the form with a sheet of foil, tuck the edges.

How to cook
1. Melt butter (180 g) and chocolate in a water bath, cool. Beat 3 eggs and 150 g of sugar. Add chocolate mixture, flour and baking powder, mix well.

In our testing, the Redmond RMC-MD200 is a multicooker with 2 bowls and the ability to cook 4 different dishes at the same time. The bowls have independent heating elements, and, according to the manufacturer, they do not affect each other’s work in any way. The multicooker arrived for testing in a nice thick cardboard box of Redmond standard design.
On a black background, a photograph of the device, the face of a pensive brunette and the main characteristics of the model. Along with this, on the box we see an advertisement for the mobile application “cooking with Redmond”, a complete set and colorful photos of dishes cooked in the RMC-MD200.
The box is equipped with a plastic handle, inside the device is tightly and very securely fixed with foam inserts. With such protection, it is unlikely that something will happen to the device even with careless transportation.
Opening the box, inside we found:

At first glance
The RMC-MD200 is made in a simple style, the body combines metal and black plastic. The shape is closer to a parallelepiped with rounded corners.
No catchy bright details, everything is quite concise. Covers independent of each other open upwards when pressing the buttons above the control panel.
Two containers are inserted inside the case, the distance between them is quite large, they are removed conveniently. containers are interchangeable.
The heating element is in contact with the bowl from below, no clamps or other design is provided.
Sealing removable covers and removable steam valves are located on top of the housing covers.
They are easy to remove for cleaning from condensate and do not absorb odors.
Multicooker containers are small, 2.4 liters maximum volume. The useful volume is only 1.5 liters. That is, in two bowls you can cook a maximum of 3 liters.
The bowls are made of thick-walled metal with a Daikin coating, which allows you to cook with a minimum of oil. They are easy to clean and do not absorb odors.
The inside of the containers has a clearly visible measuring scale.
Plastic containers for steaming can be placed on top of the bowls if needed.
Containers look like baskets with two handles. They are easy to install and remove even while cooking in the bowl. There are no steam holes in the bottom of the containers, so the liquid does not flow out of them into the multicooker bowl. Steam enters through the side slots.
The back of the multicooker does not have any protruding parts and can be pushed against the wall, since the body practically does not heat up during the cooking process.
Air vents are located on the bottom of the case, a cord connector is provided on the right side. The case stands on four rubberized legs.
In general, the whole construction looks reliable, neat and thoughtful.
Manual
The multicooker comes with an instruction manual, a service book and a recipe book for 200 different dishes.
The instruction manual is a small book of 36 pages, half of which are in Russian, half in Ukrainian.
The instructions contain all the necessary information for working with the device, for convenience, part of the explanation is given in diagrams and tables. In addition to the usual sections such as technical specifications, safety precautions and care, the manual describes in detail the operation of the appliance: the general procedure, setting the time, locks, start delays, the “multi-cook” program, the “master chef light” function, and more. Much attention is also paid to cooking tips, mistakes and how to eliminate them.
The instruction is clear, detailed, but not overloaded with unnecessary information.
Recipe book in the same format as the manual, but with 252 pages. 200 recipes are decorated with beautiful photos and a detailed description of the cooking process. Everyone can find something interesting in it: a recipe or a table of caloric content of products.
Control
Control centered on the front panel. This is a small display with touch buttons and LED backlight.
On the top right and top left are the buttons for switching the control of bowls I and II.
When cooking in two bowls at the same time, the display shows the program of the bowl whose button is constantly lit, does not blink. To display the current bowl program with a flashing button, simply press the flashing button. Indicators of 16 automatic programs are located around the display; to select the desired one, the indicators are switched using the “+” and “-” buttons. The program is started with the “start” button, and canceled with the “cancel” button. The “Settings” button is responsible for changing the time and / or temperature in any automatic program, except for the “Express” program. Management is simple and intuitive. The display is bright enough. The buttons are pressed easily, the sensors are sensitive, the humidity of the hands does not affect recognition.
The start of the program, the end of the program and the warning about the heating of the bowl for the start of the program is accompanied by an acoustic signal.
The sound signal is not loud, quite melodic, does not cause irritation, because of the closed doors it is not audible. For convenience, the sound notification can be disabled and enabled back.
Operation
Before the first use, the manufacturer recommends wiping the case with a damp cloth and washing the multicooker bowls. We did just that and, since there were no foreign smells, we limited ourselves to this.
Having installed the appliance on a flat horizontal surface, we made sure that the steam coming out of the valve does not get on the surfaces of furniture, wallpaper and electrical appliances and began to enjoy cooking.
During operation, the appliance behaved like two small multicookers placed side by side. Cooking in one bowl did not in any way affect the quality, taste or smell of the food in the other bowl. The only nuance in the device was only the volume of the bowls – we are used to 3-liter or more containers.
The only drawback we found was the lack of a carrying handle.
Since the multicooker is a device rather mobile than stationary, some inconvenience is observed when rearranging in this case.
The coating of the bowls is excellent, nothing burned, stuck or peeled off during the process.
The high side of the bowl makes it easy to take it out of the body, although special tongs would be nice.
The automatic programs are varied and enough for all your everyday cooking. At the same time, the temperature and time of any program can be easily changed using the “settings” button. It is very comfortable. The temperature step is 1 °C, which is very good, especially for the “vacuum” program, since the sous-vide technology assumes a very precisely maintained temperature.
Steam cooking containers are very conveniently designed, with a certain amount of dexterity, they can be removed directly from the steaming bowl without the use of oven mitts, as the plastic on the handles does not get very hot. In general, the use of these containers significantly increases the possibilities – in half an hour you can cook soup, porridge for a side dish and two types of cutlets.
Care
Care of the appliance is described in sufficient detail in the instructions. In short, the body can be wiped with a damp cloth, the removable cover and the removable valve are carefully cleaned after each use under running water with a gentle detergent. Multicooker containers can be washed in the dishwasher. The working chamber, if it is accidentally dirty, can be wiped with a moistened sponge or cloth, foreign bodies that have fallen into the recess around the central temperature sensor are carefully removed with tweezers.
Our measurements
During 6 hours of operation on various programs, the multicooker consumed 3.85 kWh of electricity, the maximum consumption recorded by the wattmeter was 1043 W, which is slightly higher than the declared power.
Weber iGrill Temperature Sensor measures 1 liter of water from 20°C to 98°C in 20 minutes on the Express program.
The temperature of the programs measured by us (5) exactly corresponds to the declared one.
The set temperature of 63 °C in the “vacuum” mode was kept without fluctuations (accuracy 1 °C) during the entire measured time (20 min.).
The RMC-MD200 operates almost silently.
Practical tests
In practical tests, we set ourselves the task, first of all, to understand the feasibility of dividing a large capacity into two separate ones. How convenient will it be to cook in parallel in two containers, will smells mix and spoil some dish, are there any nuances in cooking two dishes at the same time.
It should be noted that simple recipes, such as crumbly cereals or ordinary soups and sauces, worked out perfectly in a slow cooker, and we will not dwell on their description.
Consider:
- soup with smoked meats and peas;
- potato casserole with meat;
- complex lunch in one multicooker load: stew, steamed cutlets and cottage cheese casserole;
- simultaneous cooking of garlic omelet and rhubarb compote;
- bright and rich borscht.
Soup with smoked meats and peas
Since not everyone likes pea soup, we decided to make a two-in-one dish, that is, soup with smoked meats and pea soup with smoked meats. To do this, we cooked peas in one bowl of the multicooker, and smoked ribs, smoked ham, potatoes, carrots and seasonings soup in the other. We set the peas to cook a little earlier, and cooked it for about 2 hours. It is better to choose the time for each variety of peas individually, taking into account the time of its preliminary soaking.
The soup itself was boiled in the “cooking” mode for about 1.5 hours. We put the vegetables in 30 minutes before they were ready.
After the cooking process was completed in both containers, we got about 3 liters of the final product. The amount of peas in the soup can be varied or not put peas in the soup at all.
We were satisfied with the result.
Result: excellent.
Potato casserole with meat
We took minced meat, grated potatoes, some boiled rice, salt, spices.
Potatoes mixed with rice, salt and spices, put half into the multicooker bowl. Salted minced meat was put on the mixture, covered with the second half of the potatoes. We put it on the “baking” mode for 1.5 hours. After 1.5 hours, we took out the container from the multicooker, turned our casserole over with a large plate and put it on the “frying” mode for 10-15 minutes to brown the crust.
Got it, served it on the table.
Result: excellent.
Set meal: stew, steamed cutlets and cottage cheese casserole
In this experiment, we are trying to see if it is possible to cook a dessert and a main course at the same time. We opted for the sweet cottage cheese casserole, as cottage cheese absorbs odors easily. In the second container we cook vegetable stew of zucchini, potatoes and minced meat with spices, on the second tier – steamed garlic cutlets.
For the cottage cheese dessert we needed cottage cheese, eggs, butter, peaches, raisins, sugar and some flour.
Peaches (nectarines) were cut into large pieces, the rest was thoroughly beaten in a blender. The mass was poured into the multicooker bowl, put pieces of peaches and raisins into it. We put it on the “baking” mode for 1.5 hours.
For the stew we mixed grated zucchini, potatoes, ground beef and spices. Pour the mixture into the multicooker bowl. A steamer container with small minced beef patties with garlic and spices was placed on top.
The container was sent to the second compartment of the multicooker, setting the “extinguishing” mode for 1.5 hours.
Cutlets cooked earlier, after about 50 minutes – an hour. We took the container out of the multicooker, put it back 10 minutes before the stew was ready (for heating).
We liked the stew. It was well stewed, did not burn, despite the fact that we did not grease the form with any oil, and the minced meat was lean. The steamed patties also turned out well.
The casserole, to our surprise, did not absorb any foreign odors, despite the proximity of cutlets with garlic.
The dessert turned out well, baked, not burnt.
Result: excellent.
Breakfast: garlic omelette and rhubarb compote
Inspired by the results of the previous test, we decided to cook a delicate rhubarb compote and fry an omelette with garlic at the same time.
For compote, rhubarb, pieces of nectarine and sugar were poured into a container, water was added to the maximum mark, and the “cooking” mode was set for 40 minutes.
The adjacent container was set to the “frying” mode. As soon as the container was heated, they sprinkled it with oil and poured beaten eggs (2 pcs.) into it with sour cream and garlic. They fried for a couple of minutes with the lid closed, then opened it, turned the omelette over and fried it with the lid open. Repeat for 4 more eggs. All this time, compote was cooked in another container.
Compote turned out great and did not absorb odors.
We were also satisfied with the omelet.
Result: excellent.
Borscht
This recipe allows not only to achieve the perfect rich color and taste, but also leaves a choice between borscht and simply rich meat soup. Using this method, we used to cook borscht before, but we made beetroot frying in a frying pan. The multicooker RMC-MD200 makes it possible not to use other dishes and other devices.
For borscht we took young beets, beef and pork ribs, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, some vegetable oil and salt.
In one container they put the broth from the meat on the bones, in the other – beets without tops. As soon as the beets were cooked until half cooked, they pulled it out, cooled it, and cleaned it. Potatoes and carrots, cut into large pieces, were added to the broth.
The second container was put on the “stewing” mode, tomatoes were cut into it, a little oil was poured, the boiled beets were crumbled into medium pieces. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pieces of meat were removed from the soup bowl, the bones were separated, the meat was cut and returned to the soup. A few minutes before readiness, finely chopped beet tops were put into the soup.
Now for the ideal color and taste of borscht, it remains only to pour the broth with meat and vegetables into a plate, add stewed beets, serve with sour cream and herbs.
Result: excellent.
Conclusions
In our opinion, the Redmond RMC-MD200 is a very worthy and well-thought-out device, practically devoid of shortcomings. Thanks to two independent bowls, the device can cook two completely different dishes at the same time without losing quality. The volume of 3 liters for two bowls is not enough for a large family or company, but it is quite suitable for constant cooking for 1-3 people.
The control is convenient and intuitive, the thermally insulated housing retains heat well and saves electricity. Automatic programs are optimal, and the ability to change the temperature and time during the cooking process makes it possible to achieve the perfect result.
