Carrie E.
Manager
Carrie started with KinderCare in July 2010. She began her career as a director in training and was able to work at several different KinderCare centers until being placed at the West Covina center. Carrie operates the school as if the children, parents and teachers were an extension of her own family. She strives to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. She also believes in asking what specific needs your family has and then ensure those needs are met. We plan many events for everyone to participate in and work hard to ensure our families meet each other and develop strong relationships as well.

I happened upon the KinderCare on Merced one day in an effort to find a loving, CLEAN, and curriculum based child care for my 13month old daughter. Many of the schools have a very clinic and truly sad feeling environment but this was certainly not my experience here1111 Amanda (assistant director), Carrie (the director), and miss Kathryn and miss Lauren all gave my princess a warm well and I decided to enroll my daughter in their program.
I did not experience the smell of urine as described by other posts, but im sure its to be expected as it is a facility filled with children being potty trained. The director and assistant director seemed truly concerned with making sure the my daughter and I were satisfied and fulfilled with her experience there. MY daughter will be in the infant room as she has not transitioned to walking yet (she is so close). Her first day is on Monday and I will continue to post about our experience to reflect my experiences as placing your most precious assess in someone else’s hands can be a truly scary and nerve racking decision.
To be continued…
I am a new hire here at this site and I want to state it has been the BEST experience for me! The staff are all professional, caring and dedicated to their familes, children and one another. We work together as team players to deliver the best quality care! I highly recommend anyone to enroll their children with us or work here. Pam, the Director is very commited to her families and fun to work with, I enjoy coming to work everyday!
We had a horrible experience with this daycare. My son was potty trained and never had accidents, but for some reason when he was at school he would always wet his pants. He said the teacher would get mad when she had to take him to the restroom.
We final pulled him out when he told us the teacher would squeeze his hand very hard when she would get mad or frustrated. I understand that 3 and 4 year old children can be difficult, but if you don’t have the patience get a new job.
I complained to the facility, but I’m sure nothing was done. I would not recommend that anyone leave their children here.
its the best of the best. I would totally recommend this school to everyone that has infants or toddlers
My daughter has been with Kindercare since she was 6 weeks old. I have to say she has received quality care from both locations she has attended. She was at the via verde location first. Any issue has been resolved quickly and effectively. This location is bigger with more students in all (same teacher to student ratio as in most places) my only complaint would be that Some of the other parents at this location can be a little ghetto compared to via verde since there are more low income and subsidized families here. Parking gets crowded too.
I took a tour through the facility (which I think is generally nice) and listened to the presentation given by the director’s assistant. There are a couple of positive aspects about the facility however the negative aspects significantly outweigh the positive aspects.
Positives– decent amount of toys and materials
Negatives
— staff: student ratio
— I got the used car sales (wo)man vibe from the assistant (information is good but I believe the program should sell itself
— I was provided with the «local competitors» to compare services . the only thing is the local competitors binders has a few companies with little information about the companies (I realize they may not want people going to their competitors but if you offer a binder with the intention that «our company is better than theirs» adequate information should be provided
–the biggest complaint that I have is after listening to the assistant’s spiel about how great the company is I informed her that I went to KinderCare on Lark Ellen and was offered a free day to try the service. I also explained that the classroom that my son was in has a distinct urine smell. The assistant then offered me a free day at the W Merced center due to the experience at the previous center. I called back a couple of weeks later to inquire about the free day and was told by the same assistant that because I used a free day at Nogales location I would not be able to try the service at the W Merced location. When I reminder her of the discussion and the fact that I went to the Lark Ellen location she insisted it was the Nogales session.
I’m not sure if they think parents are just trying to get free days but it’s unprofessional to make an offer and change your mind. I’m considering contacting the corporate office to let them know my experience at KinderCare.
Mercedes-Benz: model range, prices and modifications
The German automaker Mercedes-Benz, which is part of Daimler AG, produces premium cars, commercial vehicles and buses. The main office of the organization is located in Stuttgart. The history of the oldest car brand Mercedes is made up of the stories of two well-known companies (Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz), which developed independently until 1926, until they merged into a single concern.
Previous models
The German company Daimler-Motoren-Gesselschaft, which manufactures Mercedes cars, was founded in 1901 by Gottlieb Daimler, the legendary author of the world’s first four-wheeled car with a gasoline engine. The well-known designer Wilhelm Maybach helped Gottlieb Daimler build this car. Despite a number of shortcomings, this undertaking was actively supported by the Consul of the Austro-Hungarian Empire Emil Jellinek, in honor of whose daughter the first model Mercedes-35P5 was named. The technical characteristics of the Mercedes-35P5 allowed the car to reach speeds of up to 90 km per hour, which at that time was considered an impressive figure.
In the early years of its existence, Daimler-Motoren-Gessellschaft built not only cars, but also developed engines for aircraft and ships, which is the reason for the appearance of the Mercedes logo in the form of a three-pointed star. Such a figure symbolizes the success of the German company on land, in the air, and in water.
After merging with another automobile manufacturer, Benz, in 1926, this star became surrounded by a laurel wreath in the form of a ring, which reflected the victories of the Benz company in the motorsport arena. The new Daimler-Benz concern was headed by Ferdinand Porsche, who significantly updated the Mercedes lineup. It was he who launched the “compressor” series K, which included such a famous model as the Mercedes 24/110/160 PS with a six-cylinder engine. The car, equipped with a 6.3-liter engine, accelerated to a fantastic speed of 145 km per hour for those times, for which it was nicknamed the “death trap”.
Hans Niebel, who succeeded Ferdinand Porsche in 1928, took an active part in the development of such machines as the Manheim-370 and Nürburg-500. In 1930, under his leadership, the Mercedes-Benz 770 was introduced to the car market with a powerful 200-horsepower engine, the working volume of which was 7.6 liters. In addition, the car was equipped with a supercharger. In the 1930s, Mercedes-200 cars and Mercedes-380 sports cars were presented to the public, on the basis of which the “compressor” Mercedes-Benz-540K models were built a little later.
In 1935, Max Seiler, the creator of the world’s first mass-produced passenger car with a diesel power plant Mercedes-260D, became the chief designer. During his reign, machines were built that were actively used by the leaders of the Nazi movement. We are talking about the Mercedes-770, equipped with an oval beam frame, with a spring rear suspension.
During the Second World War, the German concern produced not only Mercedes cars, but also trucks. The hostilities caused great damage to the main plants of the company, whose activities were able to resume only a year after the end of the war.
One of the first post-war developments of the company was the Mercedes-180, designed in 1953 with a monocoque pontoon body. Three years later, the Mercedes-300SL Gullwing sports coupe with unusual gullwing doors, which at that time had no analogues in the world, saw the light of day.
At the end of the 50s, serial production of Mercedes-Benz was updated with Robert Bosch engines with a mechanical fuel injection system. One of the first models with this innovation was the Mercedes-Benz 220 SE.
The latest achievements of the automotive industry of those years were embodied in a completely new family of middle-class cars, which was offered to customers in 1959. The Mercedes-220, 220S, 220SE models demonstrated the highest technical level of performance: a spacious luggage compartment, an absolutely independent suspension for all wheels, a stylish body with vertical headlights delighted fans of the German brand.
The executive class in the Mercedes line was introduced a little later – at 1963, with the release of the Mercedes-600 model. The car immediately became a contender for the title of the best on the planet for real comfort and prestige. It was equipped with a 6.3-liter engine with 250 horsepower and a four-speed “automatic”. A pleasant addition to the development was a comfortable wheel suspension on pneumatic elements. The body length of the executive car was more than six meters.
Sports models were replaced by more modest ones, for example, the Mercedes-Benz 230 SL, known to the common people as the “pagoda” because of the original shape of the roof with the middle part just below the sidewalls. If ten years ago the German brand managed to firmly establish itself in the car market of post-war Europe, then by the end of the 60s the whole world was talking about Mercedes. A completely different scale of production gave rise to new styling standards, which made Mercedes cars even more elegant.
The first novelty of the 70s, which replaced the Pagoda, was the Mercedes SL R107 model, which successfully captured the American market and existed on it for 18 years.
The oil crisis of 1973 adversely affected car sales, but the company managed to get out of the predicament by launching the W114/W115 series with more economical engines. Buyers wanted not only luxury and convenience, but also reliability. As a result, against the background of ruined competitors, the Mercedes brand stayed afloat.
In the early 80s, the legendary Gelandewagen appeared in the Mercedes lineup – an all-wheel drive SUV of the 460 series, which was famous for its high cross-country ability and reliability. The first such car was made to order for the Iranian Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, a shareholder of Daimler-Benz.
In 1984, a fundamentally new range of business class sedans, the Mercedes W124, began to be produced, once again demonstrating the possibility of creating stylish and modern cars with a solid body. In the W124 family, the most advanced developments of that time were embodied. A plastic molding to direct air under the car improved the car’s aerodynamics. Fuel consumption was reduced, as was the noise level from the oncoming air flow.
In 1990, a novelty was released, which still has many fans today – the Mercedes 124 500E series. Equipped with a five-liter V-shaped “eight” with a capacity of 326 horsepower, this Mercedes has design differences from the usual W124 – it is not without reason that it is called a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” The legendary “top”, assembled at the Porsche factory, received a rear suspension with hydropneumatic level control, a catalyst doubled in size, an LH-Jetronic electronic injection system instead of the traditional KE-Jetronic system. The external differences between the “top” and the rest of the “Mercedes” of the 124 series are extended wheel arches and the presence of additional foglights at the bottom of the front bumper.
Mercedes W124 500E is widely used in the CIS countries and is widely recognized in show business circles and mafiosi. Among the famous owners of the model are director Nikita Mikhalkov, musicians Yuri Loza, Dmitry Malikov, politician Gennady Zyuganov. “Top” – a real legend of the 90s – was captured in the serial film “Brigade”.
By the beginning of the new millennium, the Mercedes lineup was expanded twice: instead of five classes of cars (which were in 1993), there were ten. In 2005, new S- and CL-class models were launched, demonstrating the brand’s new style with retro elements. Stuffed with the latest technology, the S65 CL65 AMG with a powerful V12 under the hood became the flagship of the series, instead of the 600 models.
The C-Class was also updated: in 2007, the premiere of the new Mercedes W204 sedan and station wagon with three performance lines took place.
In 2008, the Mercedes lineup was replenished with the CLC-class (Comfort-Leicht-Coupe – translated as “easy comfortable coupe”).
In the first decade of the 21st century, the Mercedes lineup included GL- and GLK-class SUVs (Gelandewagen-Leicht-Kurz – translated as “short light SUV”).
New E-Class W212 family launched in early 2009year, has made huge strides in terms of economic and environmental performance. Instead of gasoline engines with superchargers – engines with a new type of direct injection CGI with twin turbocharging.
Now the German brand Mercedes-Benz is associated with the buyer with reliability, high quality workmanship and a rich history.
Mercedes lineup
The Mercedes-Benz lineup includes compact small middle class cars, serious business class sedans, executive segment, SUVs, coupes, convertibles, roadsters and minivans.
Price of Mercedes
Price of Mercedes-Benz depends on which class the chosen car belongs to. The most inexpensive are the five-door A-class. The cost of “Mercedes” middle class varies from two million to four. Business class reaches six million, executive – up to twelve. One of the most expensive models is the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT coupe, which costs more than 12 million.

Mercedes acquires a dealer – Newspaper Kommersant No. 156 (7357) dated 08/26/2022
As Kommersant found out, Mercedes-Benz wants to sell its car assembly plant in the Moscow region. A number of Kommersant’s interlocutors indicate that the Avtodom dealer can become a buyer. Mercedes claims that they are considering different options for doing business in the Russian Federation. According to experts, if the plant is sold, the buyer will hardly be able to use it to assemble Mercedes cars.
Photo: Emin Jafarov, Kommersant
Photo: Emin Jafarov, Kommersant
Mercedes-Benz is selling a plant in Russia, Kommersant’s sources in the automotive industry and the real estate market told Kommersant. We are talking about a site in Esipovo, near Moscow, owned by Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Rus, where Daimler KamAZ Rus JV owns 20%, and the rest belongs to the parent Mercedes-Benz AG. A Kommersant source in one of the auto concerns says that the plant is up for sale. Another interlocutor of Kommersant in the automotive industry confirmed that the deal is at the final stage, the Russian dealer will become the buyer, but there are some “document problems” with Mercedes.
Kommersant’s source in the real estate market of the Moscow region said that the dealer Avtodom is also applying for the plant, and the Corporation for the Development of the Moscow Region is participating in the negotiations.
Kommersant’s interlocutor in one of the auto concerns talks about a tender involving several dealers. Kommersant’s source in auto retail notes that this is a complex deal, which also includes the rights of the brand’s distributor on the Russian market, and also calls Avtodom the main contender.
As Kommersant wrote on July 11, Mercedes-Benz wanted to sell the property of its distributor Mercedes-Benz Rus to one of the Russian dealers and discussed the transfer of the rights of the distributor to him as well. According to Kommersant’s interlocutors among consultants in the real estate market, Mercedes is going to sell a building in Veshki near Moscow, where office space and services are located.
The Russian office of Mercedes-Benz told Kommersant that the company is “considering various options for doing business in Russia.”
“There are no concrete decisions yet. Please understand that we do not comment on future plans and strategic decisions,” they said.
Avtodom declined to comment. In July, answering a question about revising Mercedes’ business in the Russian Federation, the company explained that they were interested in “expanding the current business or entering new segments.” They added that “in such transactions, the buyer offers some discount to the usual price – a premium for risk and willingness to make a deal now.”
In December 2021, in an interview with Avtostat, Andrey Olkhovsky, the head of the dealer, noted that he plans to “develop not only in auto retail.” “We want to become a manufacturing company. Organization of industrial assembly is one of the nearest projects. We are not yet ready to announce the brand and even the segment in which we will try to realize ourselves as part of the industrial assembly, but I think we will tell you in the next few months, ”he said. Sources of “Kommersant” note that it was about the assembly of electric vehicles – most likely Chinese. One of them clarified that Avtodom was considering purchasing production facilities at the end of 2021, but the process had stopped since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine.
Sergey Udalov from Avtostat notes that transactions for the sale of the plant, the Mercedes office and the transfer of distributor rights may not be related to each other.
In his opinion, if a Russian company buys the plant, it will not be able to use it to assemble German brand cars, since this requires supplies from a large number of authorized component manufacturers, which is impossible without the support of the headquarters. At the same time, Mercedes “takes compliance as seriously as possible and will not take risks.”
Kommersant’s source in the car market says that Mercedes, whose plant was launched only in 2019, did not return the investment, so it makes sense for the concern to retain the possibility of repurchasing the site. However, he adds that it is now impossible to predict the timing “due to the general uncertainty.” The Mercedes-Benz report for the second quarter mentions the risks of expropriating assets in the Russian Federation, and business losses in the country in the passenger segment in January-June are estimated at €658 million
Chinese concerns, which are now discussing localization in the Russian Federation, including with traditionally Russian players.
