AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Lisle KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it. )

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • I unexpectedly found myself this past November looking for daycare for my grandchildren. It had been a long time since I had looked into Preschool and daycare settings and I was at a loss as where to start. I called my local KinderCare and spoke to the director who took a great deal of time answering my questions and relieving my anxiety about placing my very young grandchildren in daycare. The director stayed in contact with me while I investigated all my options and then welcomed us all warmly into her center. I continue to be amazed at the care and concern expressed by all the staff at this center, even those who do not directly work with my grandchildren. Each and every person I have encountered has shown such kindness to me and my grandchildren that I no longer worry about them while they are at KinderCare. My grandchildren are very happy and well cared for and I could not be happier. Thank you to all the KinderCare staff for providing a safe, loving and supportive learning environment for my grandchildren. You have been a blessing in my life and the lives of my grandchildren.

  • The KinderCare teachers and staff have become part of our “family” whom we trust and rely on to help our daughter grow and develop. From the directors down to the wonderfully energetic and patient teachers, you have the sense that there are strong lines of communication between the entire team. That strong team structure translates to an incredibly nurturing environment. Our daughter has been enrolled since she was three months old and we have seen her grow and develop cognitively, physically and socially in ways we could have never achieved alone. She genuinely loves her teachers and friends, and we see her blossoming in countless ways. We have also been impressed with the way staff manages to treat each individual child to their needs. When our daughter was in the infant room, she had some special needs with both her diet and some daily activities to help stretch and strengthen certain muscles in her back and the staff happily worked with us to make sure her care from home to KinderCare and back was as seamless as possible. We are so grateful and appreciative of the love and care they have provided. When I was making the decision for my daughter’s care, I visited six centers in our area and the Lisle KinderCare was heads above the rest. Clean, innovative, backed by sound educational and safety principals and practices and very service-orientated. I have recommended this center to many friends and to anyone who is looking for a safe, clean, engaging environment for your child.

  • We have had a wonderful experience with KinderCare in Lisle. I have a three year old daughter that had never been in a daycare or preschool situation, I was a stay at home mom. When my life changed and I needed daycare the staff at KinderCare made things easy for me. My daughter absolutely loves it, and if she is home a couple of days can’t quit asking when she gets to go back. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • We’ve had three boys attend this KinderCare over the last six and a half years. Wonderful experience since we started and currently we are extremely happy with the management and teachers/support that care for our preschooler. They potty trained him in no time and his verbal communication has improved dramatically (he was at home with me for three years). The love they show him is off the charts. The consistently tell me how his day went, funny stories, and his nap schedule. We love KinderCare on College Road!

    Catherine K. – KinderCare Parent
  • We have been a KinderCare family for three years.  I am an elementary teacher and feel confident in the care and educational opportunities my six-year-old daughter receives each day while at KinderCare.   The staff is outstanding and is always professional.  It is evident that they truly love both what they do and the children at the center.  If you are looking for a quality childcare facility that will support the educational and social growth of your child, take the time to visit the KinderCare located on College Road.

    Jennifer B. – KinderCare Parent
  • Our family has been been with KinderCare since October 2007, first at the Palos location and then at Lisle. We could not be more appreciative of the care, compassion, and education our children have received. Under the guidance of the wonderful teachers at KinderCare my boys have entered/will enter school both academically and socially prepared. Further, because of the efforts of the teachers, both Aric and I have been able to work during the day while having peace of mind that our children are safe and well taken care of. It’s been a wonderful experience; one I would wholeheartedly recommend to any parent of preschool age.

    Michelle R. – KinderCare Parent
  • KinderCare has been such a blessing for me. I have a one year old son and moved back to the area recently. As a single mom, I was looking for a great place where my son would receive the same care I would give him. It is conveniently located for me and the tuition cost is right in line with all other schools in the area. I know daily what activities my son will be partaking in and get a daily reviews. The director and teachers are beyond wonderful, supportive, and loving. They welcomed us with open arms and have made this transition easy and amazing for us. My son loves them too which is great for a working parent to know.Teachers and director work directly with us so that we all are aware of what is going on and are able to work with them. I also love the fact that they have a great curriculum in place for all ages! My son has been learning and loving it! I would highly recommend KinderCare in Lisle to anyone looking for a fun, supportive, caring daycare/preschool.

    Michelle S. – KinderCare Parent
  • The Lisle KinderCare teachers, programs and Directors are fantastic! The teachers and Directors have always maintained open communication with parents and keep us informed of what is going on in the classroom as far as curriculum, the wonderful things our kids have done in class and other issues that may come up. The Center Director and teachers make themselves available for phone calls, meetings and email. Our eldest is now in Kindergarten in our school district and is excelling in all subjects due the preparation he experienced in the loving care of his KinderCare teachers. Our youngest is in the Discovery Preschool room and is a happy, silly, kid who continues to learn and flourish while at the center. We are blessed to have such an amazing extended family in the Lisle KinderCare staff!

    Jennifer M. – KinderCare Parent
  • I just want to send a thank you your way to everyone, especially Miss Crystal!  My son is getting his hair cut and can not stop talking about dinosaurs.  He is “teaching” the gal who cuts his hair about herbivores, carnivores and the whose who of the unit!  Countless thanks to everyone’s hard work and the joy they bring to my son and his friends each day.  Thank you for helping us foster his love of learning!

    Erica M. – KinderCare Parent
  • I was sad and apprehensive when I went back to work after having my daughter. I visited over ten different day care centers and was most comfortable with KinderCare because of the open communication with the staff, on the floor play and the warm nature in which they took care of my daughter and even my husband and I as we navigated day care for the first time. Ms. Katie treats our daughter like one of her own kids, providing our daughter (and the other babies in the nursery) with much love and attention. Everyone who we have worked with at KinderCare has been kind, open, understanding and authentic. While I would love to be at home with our daughter all the time, I find comfort in having her in the nursery with Ms. Katie and the rest of the staff at KinderCare.

How long can you skip kindergarten without a certificate

Family

from Ekaterina Kharitonova

/ April 11 11:15

4 min.

You went on vacation with your child, so he missed kindergarten. This is acceptable. The kid is not obliged to spend every day in the company of a teacher and other children. However, when returning, the question arises of how long you can skip kindergarten without a certificate.

  • What are the rules for visiting a kindergarten without a certificate?
    • What to do: there are no internal regulations in the kindergarten
  • Will they be expelled for passes
  • Is it required to pay for missed classes
  • You want to complain about kindergarten

Children often skip kindergarten

What are the rules for attending kindergarten without a certificate

Previously, children could miss kindergarten without a certificate for up to five days – this was regulated by sanitary standards. In 2021, new rules for visiting kindergartens came into force. In the new SanPin there is no answer to the question of how many days you can not go to the garden without a certificate.

Changes in the document brought discord in the actions of the leadership of children’s institutions. Therefore, a preschool organization must independently develop rules that allow kids to attend kindergarten after illness or absence for family reasons.

Did the child miss school due to illness? A visit to the kindergarten must be resumed with a visit to the pediatrician. He will write out a certificate, as well as give recommendations for restoring health. It may not be possible at first to attend classes with high physical activity.

What to do: there are no internal regulations in the kindergarten

If the kindergarten does not have an internal certificate of attendance, then parents have several options:

  1. references.
  2. Take five days as a benchmark. This duration is recorded in the recommendation letter of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated August 19, 2020 N 15-2 / I / 2-11861. The rule still works.
  3. Act on the principle of “reasonable time” contained in Art. 314 of the Civil Code. It is used when the exact terms are not specified in regulatory legal acts.
How to get compensation for kindergarten

Will you be expelled for absences

Absence from kindergarten is not a reason for expulsion from it. This is not in the Education Act. However, if you are leaving for a few weeks, then leave a statement on the pass to the manager.

Children will not be expelled for skipping kindergarten

The document will secure a seat for your child. The leadership of the preschool institution will know: the baby is with his parents, alive and well, and will not look for him.

Kindergarten may be banned for health reasons. Such a recommendation is given only after visiting a doctor.

Do I have to pay for missed classes

When mom or dad warns the head of the kindergarten about absences in advance, most of the days of the child’s absence will not have to be paid. Meals are not prescribed for him, so the days of absenteeism are deducted from the main amount. As a result, the monthly payment for the kindergarten is reduced, and the compensation is also reduced.

These are the basic rules, but may vary from region to region. Also, a different internal routine operates in private kindergartens. The contract may prescribe the maximum number of free absenteeism allowed or a discount for the period of your vacation, if you warn in advance. But more often in commercial kindergartens there is a fixed payment. It is not affected by the number of passes.

Do not give a place in the garden or are not satisfied with the conditions? Perhaps a commercial kindergarten would be the best choice for you. Halva will help you be more flexible in your decisions and live by the principles that are important to you.

Halva universal card is not just a convenient means of payment. It is like a Swiss knife containing dozens of useful financial instruments in one plastic and mobile application. Cashback up to 10%, installments in 250,000+ stores and income on the balance up to 12% with free maintenance. Make your life sweeter and more convenient!

You want to complain about the kindergarten

There can be many reasons for complaining about the management of the kindergarten. You have a right to them if it is not possible to agree peacefully. The reason for the complaint may be the requirement of a certificate for missing one day not due to illness.

Fill out a free-form complaint and send it to the education committee, department and other departments involved in this area. You can complain to Rosobrnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor and the prosecutor’s office.

In the application, indicate the name of the organization, your full name, telephone number, e-mail and contact address. The picture of the complaint will be supplemented by the name of the baby, violations of the kindergarten and a request to eliminate them.

Sign the complaint and put the date below. The document can be sent by email. An official response will be received within a week.

Remember that you are responsible for your child and therefore have the right to miss school for family reasons.
