AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Totem Lake KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3-12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • ~~Kathie,

I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks. The Totem Lake center has been an extreme blessing for us these last 9 months. Nolan adores his teachers and classmates, and we always felt so welcomed and loved – through good times and bad. We loved watching him learn with Ms. Liz and other infant-room helpers, and loved seeing his face light up when he recognized his friends and favorite toys each morning.

We’re sad to pull him out of daycare but for right now this is what’s best for our family. Thank you for being a great director and managing a great KinderCare center. Hope we can work with you again in the future!

    Warmly,
     Marissa R

  • I just wanted to take the time to write and say that our entire family really appreciates the hard working folks at the KinderCare in Totem Lake. My son just moved to this center in June and we’ve had such a positive experience so far — everyone from the director Ms Kathie to his teachers (Ms. Sayeda and Ms. Magdalina) are really caring and helpful. Drop-offs are hard with our little one but Ms. Liliana makes it so easy and our son just adores her.

We also had a recent allergy scare at home that ended us going to the ER. The center was so wonderful in working with us to be sure our son got the nutrients he needed and careful to avoid foods that could make him ill. When I come to pick him up he is dancing and having fun with Ms. Wasam and singing the wheels on the bus. Its just reassuring and a blessing to know that he is well taken care by such a great group of people. Thank you so much!

  • We have had our child at this location since 12 weeks. We are so happy with the friendships, the learning and activities, thoughtfulness and partnership of Katie and her staff. Making this decision was the best one we made for our child. The team has also handled the pandemic with a very thoughtful and safe approach each day. We feel very confident that our child is thriving, having fun and is safe! We will be sad to graduate from this school in the near future, we will miss all of the staff!

Family Stories

  • Hi Miranda,
I hope story helps to show how great the center is and especially you!
I wish I could say that I was just another family without any problems. But I’m not. I was a surprised single father last February and had no idea a baby was coming to me. But he did. I showed up to KinderCare with a baby that I had no clue what to do with. Miranda and Julie quickly came to my rescue. Not only did they take care of my son all day, they gave me tips and advice on how to be a father. Recently my son’s mom decided to stir up trouble. Her husband called the center and told them that he was my son’s father and wanted information and to come see my son. Miranda was not having it. The way and manner that she handled the situation without being rude (which is something I couldn’t of done!), or anything else, but super professional. She explained to my son’s mother’s husband that she wasn’t able to confirm anything he was asking and that she wouldn’t be able to help him. He harassed her on the phone for over 40 minutes trying to manipulate and lie to Miranda for information about my son. She handled it so well and so professionally. I’m proud to be a KinderCare parent and to have my son learning there. There is no other place that I really feel would be as safe as KinderCare. They’ve come to be more like “friends of the family” then just staff at my daycare. Especially Miranda. Thanks for the super great and awesome workI

  • Emily at KinderCare Juanita is just amazing and welcoming to me as I am new to Seattle and moving is hard enough but transitioning with kids makes the process so stressful. Emily made everything so wonderful and easy. She was very reassuring and attentive and had great customer service!

Vitamin E 180mg, Kirkland Signature, 500 Capsules (USA)

  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Slows down cell aging
  • Free from artificial colors and preservatives

Vitamin E is an essential nutrient, meaning that the body does not synthesize the element on its own. However, vitamin E plays an important role in promoting health, so it is necessary to provide for the intake of this element in the body with food or in the form of supplements. The element is found in some plant foods: sunflower seeds, almonds, hazelnuts, avocados, spinach, asparagus, chard and broccoli. There is also some vitamin present in cold-pressed nut oils from nuts and avocados. However, for a regular intake of the element, vitamin supplements should be consumed.

The two main uses of vitamin E in the human body are to strengthen the immune system and perform antioxidant functions. Vitamin E is an important part of the cell membranes of the immune system.

The substance (in the form of alpha-tocopherol) is also a powerful antioxidant. The body produces free radicals – oxygen-containing substances that “wander” through the organs, cause cell oxidation, which in turn is one of the causes of organ aging. Under conditions of stress, smoking and unhealthy environmental conditions, the amount of free radicals in the body increases rapidly.

Antioxidants act as free radical scavengers. Vitamin E, being a fat-soluble antioxidant, acts in hydrophobic areas such as cell membranes. This property provides the advantage of vitamin E over water-soluble antioxidants. That is why regular intake of this element in the body is important for maintaining health.

Warning:

consult a physician before use in case of cardiovascular problems, diabetes, pregnancy, before surgery.

How to use:

1 capsule daily, preferably with meals.

vitamin E (dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate), gelatin, glycerin.

The composition of the product or the appearance of the packaging may vary if the supplier or manufacturer makes changes without prior notice.

About the manufacturer

Kirkland Signature is the private label of the well-known retail chain Costco Wholesale. The brand was founded in 1995 and is hugely popular in the US, where consumers know how to count their money and are best at saving where possible. The name comes from the city where the headquarters of the Costco corporation was located from 1987 to 1996. The launch of its own production was carefully thought out – the company found directions in which it was able to offer a cheaper, but the same quality product. Kirkland’s offerings match the performance of the market leaders, but cost an average of 20% less.
