AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
North Indianapolis KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to

As the great grandparents of a very bright and active four year old little boy, we were at our wits end trying to find a good preschool fit for him. Hayden was at another well-known facility for over two years, but it was clear that was no longer working for him or us. My husband found KinderCare close to where we both work. It has turned out to be the best decision for our family. The first two weeks were admittedly rough, but the staff worked with us and made us feel we had made the right decision to bring our toddler here. He affectionately became known as the traveling baby boy to the staff. He would start off in Miss Keana’s room first thing each morning , where she would patiently work with him and then he would progress down the hallway as the day went on. KinderCare did everything to accommodate him and us, right down to his food allergies. He gets Phonics lessons from Miss Fannie, and music class from Miss Neida. A lot of love and attention comes from Miss Tyaisha. He finally has landed in Miss Crystal’s room. He is learning Spanish. He no longer ” travels” as much. He has also been able to start Crouching Tigers again. Hayden has learned so much in just a few short weeks. He truly enjoys going to school again! This is a collaboration, between family and KinderCare. We are so very grateful that, KinderCare staff, have our best interests at heart. We don’t have to worry about him at school. We know they will call if anything major comes up. The center is full of activity and life. We love it! It is truly a great value at a fair price.

Since I transferred my three-year-old and my 11-month-old children to KinderCare, I have noticed a transformation in them both. My three-year-old had a bad experience at his previous daycare. Ms. Casey and Ms. Judeia helped him to break out of his shell. He comes home everyday excited to tell me what he has learned. They were both very helpful with potty trainging, and after a couple of weeks he was completely potty trained and I am so grateful. My daughter’s teachers , Ms. Amber and Ms. LaToya are absolutetly wonderful. My daughter is well taken care of . The way both teachers handle the babies, it’s like their taking care of their own children. The office staff is what drew me in. Ms. Tyaisha the center director, Ms. Cynthia the assistand and Ms. Fannie the Program Specialist made this particular Center feel like home. They stay on top of thing and don’t miss a beat when it comes to the kids.
I love kindercare, I recently moved further out but refuse to change daycares because my I definitely give them an A+.

I have been the proud mother of KinderCare pupils since July 2011. At that time, my three children ranged in age from six months to five years. I have been with this center since then, and would never consider taking my children anywhere else. Moreover, I have expanded my family, and my new infant son attends as well. I was first drawn to the center for its convenient location. I intended for my children to go to the Intech Blvd location; however, I was drawn to this facility for its friendlier staff (especially its director Ms. Powell). I felt right at home from the beginning. I LOVE all staff members, but Ms. Gloria, Mona, Paula, Neda, Fannie, and Cherrie are like members of my extended family. Everyone goes above and beyond the company standard of care, and my children love their teachers even more than I do.
I want to say THANK YOU to all those involved in my children’s care. I know it takes a village to raise a child, and I am assured by the fact that the Woodland Drive KinderCare is apart of my family’s village.

The KinderCare on 71st and Woodland has been such a blessing to us. I honestly wish my son started to go here yeas ago. The staff and his Prekindergarten B teacher have treated him with so much love. They really pay attention to the kids and I can call at any time and see how my child is doing. I feel safe and comfortable with him there. It’s been a blessing!
Cequila G. – KinderCare Parent
-
KinderCare has been such a blessing to me and my family. They allow the children to express themselves in a positive way, and allow the teachers to be teachers and parents to be parents. Whatever concerns I have are always taken into consideration, and we put our heads together to make the best decisions for my child. Not too many places are willing to take the time to know each individual child. They do this because they realize that no two children are the same and promote individualism as well as leadership skills at an early age.
Destinee’ F – KinderCare Parent

My son Parrish has been a student for your 5 year class for about a month and he has learned so much already. He loves it here and he never wants to go home. I feel extremely comfortable with him in your care. Thank you so much.
Chael B – KinderCare Parent

I just wanted to thank you so much for everything you’ve done to help not only Isabella, but also my family as a whole! I’ve noticed so much in the last few weeks from Izzy attending your KinderCare. She’s opened up, she’s potty training better, she is learning so many new things, I can’t believe it! Even her use of the English language has grown drastically. She’s speaking in complete sentences (as much as a 2 ½ year old can at least!). She’s verbalizing more than she ever has before!
As someone who suffers from an anxiety disorder, I feel 100% at ease with leaving Izzy in your loving care. You’ve been so helpful in reassuring me that she’s doing okay (including giving me hugs when I dropped her off and she begged me not to go!). I cannot imagine ever finding a more compassionate, loving, and devoted daycare for my daughter.
Thank you so much, for all that you do!

My travels. City of Indianapolis, Indiana. Part 1. Overview: neznakomka_18 — LiveJournal
We decided to spend another short vacation (only 4 days, including the way there and back) in the capital of Indiana – the city of Indianapolis.
I was consciously looking for a city that would take two full days to see all its main sights. And, in general, we really managed to see almost everything in these couple of days. In addition, we still had a lot of time on the day of departure – the plane left only at 7 pm. And everything that we did not have time to see, we postponed for this last day. That is, theoretically, there should have been enough time for everything planned.
But then force majeure intervened: the flight was rescheduled from 7 pm to 1 pm, and all the plans of the last day remained unfulfilled.
Well, what can you do… Man proposes, but God disposes. We’ll see it sometime next time.
In any case, we got to know the city, saw a lot of nice things in it and learned a lot of interesting things about it. Enjoyed the trip. And this is the most important thing.
So, in this part – a city tour.
As always, let’s start with the airport.
For a tourist who first arrived in Indianapolis, already at the airport it is clear that sports play a huge role in the life of the city.
In particular, we came here on the eve of the famous and prestigious annual Indy 500 (500 miles of Indianapolis) –
open-wheel car race.
This sporting event is considered the most attended in the world, taking place at the same time.
Originally made photo space – “Become the “I” in Indy”.
A person takes the place of the missing first letter and replaces it with himself.
Another highlight of the state’s well developed dairy industry.
Although, if we talk about the state, then Indiana generally produces a lot of things: medicines, furniture, musical instruments, and car parts. And this is in addition to the fact that coal, oil and gas are mined here.
Indianapolis is the capital and most populous city of the state (12th in the US). More than 800 thousand people live here.
Before the settlement by whites, Indian tribes lived here, who were forced out by 1820. The first Europeans were the French.
In the same year, Indianapolis was chosen as the new state capital.
The city is located on the White River.
Proximity to water decorates the city and gives it a special flavor.
In 1847, a railway connection was opened here, which gave a sharp impetus to the development of the city.
By the early 20th century, Indianapolis had become a major automobile manufacturer, rivaling Detroit itself.
Before the beginning of World War I, the city produced 65 types of cars.
By the way, it was here that some innovations were introduced into the automotive industry: 4 wheels instead of 3, installation of brakes, etc.
Over time, the city has become a major transportation hub with roads leading out of the city in all directions.
This earned Indiana one of its nicknames, “America’s Crossroads”.
Other nicknames of the state are “Land of the Indians”, “The Big State”, “The State of Hospitality”.
I will note two more features of Indianapolis as the state capital:
– Of all the state capitals, Indianapolis is closest to the geographic center of its state.
– Unlike most state capitals, Indianapolis is its largest industrial, commercial and financial center.
It is also curious that Indianapolis was one of the first cities to install electric street lighting in 1881.
The inscription on one of the government buildings: “Indiana: A State that Works” (Indiana: state that works).
By the way, these words belong to Republican politician Mike Pence, who was born in Indiana, served as Governor of Indiana, and from 2017 to 2021 was the 48th Vice President of the United States (then President was Donald Trump).
Old buildings and modern buildings coexist harmoniously in the city.
New library building
Very beautiful building. Judging by the presence of the American and German flags, it is possible that this is the building of the German Embassy.
Cultural Center “Indanapolis Artsgarden”
House Museum of the 23rd US President Benjamin Harrison.
Garrison is the only President of the United States nominated from Indiana.
He was born in Ohio. During the Civil War, Harrison fought on the side of the North and rose to the rank of brigadier general. For his success in 1881, he was nominated by the Republicans for governor of Indiana.
In 1889, Harrison became President of the United States.
During his reign such states as Montana, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, North and South Dakota were formed.
He was nominated for a second term in 1892, but in the midst of the second election race, his wife died, and the politician lost interest in what was happening. The election was then easily won by Grover Cleveland.
Depew Memorial Fountain
This fountain was installed in honor of Dr. Richard Depew, commissioned by his widow Emma.
Unfortunately, she never saw this work finished, as she died in 1913, 6 years before the installation of the fountain.
The fountain was under repair, but even without jets of water it is clear that it greatly decorates and enlivens this area, where there are mainly quite massive buildings and impressive memorials, such as the one that is visible on background.
In general, I got the impression that this city (and I’m talking about the city center now) itself looks like a big memorial.
Of course, this is what they rightly say about the capital of America, the city of Washington, but Indianapolis also seemed to me the same city-monument.
And this is not only because of the large number of memorial museums, monuments, structures that can be seen there, but also because of the architectural features of the city. It seemed to me – perhaps erroneously – that many buildings look too bulky and heavy.
Even the church looks more like the House of Unions.
But, of course, there are a lot of interesting buildings in the city.
For example, the same churches:
The only church that was open.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, built in 1910 in the Gothic Revival style.
There is a delightful building of the Repertory Theater in the city.
It is believed that this is the most complex and detailed building in the city.
We didn’t get inside because of the wedding photo shoot that took place there, but I was glad that I managed to see this building at least from the outside.
We saw another interesting building just before we left. It is under construction, but what is already there, and what should appear, promise a very interesting result.
The building is quite large, it is even difficult to photograph it in its entirety.
It’s called “Old National Center”.
It is a pity that it was impossible to go inside – it must be very beautiful there. Even from the street you can see the presence of a large number of stained-glass windows.
As far as I understand, in one part of the building there is a mosque, as well as a certain society of either Masons, or the Arab order of nobles, and in the other part there is a concert hall, a stage where sports competitions, exhibitions, festivals, etc. are held.
Sport – as I said at the very beginning – plays a huge role in the life of the city. Indianapolis is called the amateur sports capital of the world for a reason.
The city hosts an annual tennis tournament from the ATP Masters series.
From 2000 to 2007, the Indianapolis circuit hosted the US Formula One Grand Prix.
And the Indy 500, of course.
This is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the second oldest operating speedway in the world. It has been operating since 1909.
Its stands can accommodate up to 400,000 spectators.
Since 1911 this car race has been held every year.
In one of the restaurants I saw and photographed a reproduction of an old photograph of the races of 1929 years old
And the last part of this part – a few photos of the restaurant, which we went to for dinner several times.
This restaurant-pub has a completely unexpected name – Library (Library).
