AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Milpitas KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • As full time working parents of two very young children, there are several easy things on our check list to evaluate when looking for a day care center. 1) Distance to work or home 2) Affordable tuition 3) Coverage of basics of care (diaper changing, feeding, what the children will learn) 4) Food options. When our older son was two and we just had another baby, my office moved closer to the KinderCare in Milpitas on Abel Street, so we decided to check them out. They met all of our up front criteria and so we placed our boys there. Additional criteria that we found important to us started to show through. Especially when Denise came on board as Director, we started to feel even happier with our decision. She runs a great facility. I communicate with her as if she was a family member taking care of my children. I appreciate her transparency on all matters. No question of mine is taken lightly or brushed off. Her communication is stellar. The teachers for each of my boys have clearly made a difference in their lives. It’s amazing how quickly they can grow up and how much they can absorb and learn at that age. I believe it’s a fundamental cascade of what Denise puts in place for the various age groups. I am fortunate to have two very good, and very sweet children.

    Jessica W. – KinderCare Parent
  • I had my daughter at Milpitas KinderCare for a year. She loved it and so did my husband and I. The teachers and directors were so friendly and they know each child by name. As a working mom it was amazing to know that my daughter was safe and having fun. The lessons they teacher are age appropriate and planned out for the month. Meals are healthy and fresh! Take your child Milpitas KinderCare and you’ll love it! If I didn’t get a chance to stay home now, my daughter would still be there.

    Sorelle O. – KinderCare Parent
  • My wife and I are two full time working parents and have had our daughter at KinderCare for a couple of years now. Every time I hear someone talking about looking for a day care I immediately recommend this location. Not only is our daughter thriving in this environment, the teachers have provided more than exceptional results and really show that they care about the futures of the children.

The director, Denise Reid, goes above and beyond to make sure that every child is getting the most out of their time at KinderCare. And don’t forget about Mr. Josh preparing all the meals and snacks for the kids every day. I’d name off all of the wonderful teachers but I’m sure I would spell their names wrong, so will just say that you can’t go wrong when it comes to counting on the staff at KinderCare to shape the future of our children. KinderCare is more than just an ordinary day care center!

    Jeff S. – KinderCare Parent
  • The infant program in KinderCare (Abel Street) is staffed with very good and caring teachers. They provide our kids not only the warmth of hugs but provide them with the right stimulating environment to allow them to develop and grow. My daughter started out sitting in one of their play areas, and in no time learned how to crawl and stand. What I like about their infant room is that it is very organized. The infant room is cleaned every single day, all of the toys are cleaned and washed every day, the bedding on the crib are washed every day.

Each baby has their own crib and their own drawer and a section in the refrigerator for their milk. They have gloves and warmers and protocols in place to handle breast milk/formula and the food for our precious ones. We are provided with daily charts on how our baby’s day went, like how many hours they slept, how much of their milk they finished and what their daily temperament was like. They also provide booties just so whoever goes in the Infant room will not be carrying their outside shoes inside.

I cannot say enough good things about the teachers, Ms. Marisu, Ms. Herlinda and Ms. Kassaundra. They are all warm and caring and they never fail to talk and greet my daughter and all the other kids that go into the room. It gives me peace of mind knowing that these teachers are there for my daughter.

I also appreciate Ms. Denise for always being on top of things. If there is something you need, she will get back to you promptly. Or if something needs to be brought to your attention, she will be there to help you out. She is hands on with the kids too. I’ve seen her carry my daughter, have small talk with her and know how she is progressing. I think she knows each and every single child in her school and that is something all parents would like the Director to be.

  • After touring many daycare centers, we decided to enroll our son at Jacklin Commons KinderCare. He started in the Infant program, and we were immediately impressed with the care extended to him. We also were appreciative of the cleanliness of the center. Our son has moved through Toddler and on to the Discovery Preschool program. We continue to be grateful for all of the great care and education received there. The teachers are great! We clearly see how much love, as well as gentle discipline, they provide. Danielle, the director, is awesome. She is attentive to the children and engaged with the families. Our son loves going to KinderCare. He loves his teachers, he has close friendships, and he is gaining skills and knowledge at such a young age that we expected much later. In fact, he began singing a song in Spanish. He already knows his ABC’s and he is potty trained! We recommend KinderCare to anyone who has the need.

    Elaine – KinderCare Parent
  • Not saying this center is ideal or perfect, but there are many reasons that they deserve 5 stars!  Just voted as Milpitas’ Best Day Care is another echo of their effort and success. My baby has been going to this day care since she was three months old and throughout times that I shopped for other centers, I always ended up deciding to stay.  The center director Danielle is approachable, understanding and a problem solver; which gives me a very reassuring feeling that the school and I are on the same side.  The teachers go to different classrooms throughout the day and they all know my baby, which creates a big center but small family feeling for my kid and reassures me again that they care about my baby and my baby fits in great.

The center involves parents in quarterly activities and provides timely services.  We attended the summer BBQ, Halloween Parade and during the upcoming busy holiday season, the center offers once a month extended babysitting service. The teachers are approachable and willing to accommodate to the special request we made as the babies transition from one stage to another such as learning to use sippy cups, eating solid food, no outdoor play until she walks more stably, etc.

The tuition is relatively expensive compared to the smaller scale home based day care, but it includes formula and baby food for the first year as well as lunch and snacks, which a lot of big centers don’t offer (for example, Action Plus does not offer free lunch and they charge $3 a day extra).  Besides that, where else can you get a wide range of kid exposures with a small classroom setting?  My kid loves checking out other bigger kids (from toddlers to kindergarten) yet her classroom only has eight other kids in it.  All in all, I can’t help but rave about this center. Highly recommend!
