Our Gilbert, AZ Leadership Team

Ms. Janae

Program Director

Hello families! My name is Janae and I am the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Gilbert at Val Vista. I started my career as an early childhood educator in 2014 while I studied Secondary Special Education at Arizona State University. I fell in love with teaching tiny humans! I have a strong belief that every child deserves a high-quality learning experience that allows them to learn and grow in a way that is nurturing, warm and feels like a second home. Children thrive in a loving and caring school environment, where they are surrounded by teachers and friends who love, help, and guide them to be their very best.

As a proud mother of two beautiful girls, my most important professional goal is to provide all the children in our community with the best early learning environment and to help form the foundation they need to be successful students and individuals.

Ms. Rebecca

Assistant Director

Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I am so excited to be the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool at Gilbert Val Vista.

I began my journey with early childhood education over ten years, with experience ranging from being a persona caregiver for children with special needs, to being a lead teacher in multiple classrooms from ages birth to five years. I fell in love with early childhood from the very beginning, and absolutely love knowing that I’m making a positive impact in their little lives every day! I have a heart for helping kids and teachers succeed and overcome individual obstacles while watching them grow and am so glad to have that opportunity with Little Sunshine’s.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, including my beautiful daughter. My husband and I are big movie people, so most weekends you can expect to see us snuggled up on the couch watching movies

What Our Val Vista Families Are Saying

Connie

We have had our son enrolled here for the past 6 months in the toddler room and they are fantastic. The facility is clean, they do great activities, and all of the teachers are happy and outgoing. My son doesn’t even cry when I drop him off in the mornings and he runs right in and starts playing. The only reason we left is that we moved out of state!

When searching the place to send my son to, I was impressed by good reviews of LSP. We drove by the school and I fell in love with the little “castle” (outstanding difference than other places). We wanted a place where he could feel like home because this would be his very 1st time away from us. We have been having great experiences with teachers and the school. My son is able to make friends and I can tell how much he loves his teachers/friends when he keeps talking about them at home!

Little Sunshines is more than just a daycare, it’s a second home for my toddler. My son was home for 15-months so it was really important to find a place he and I both felt comfortable. From the moment we walked in the door the love and comfort were overwhelming. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone that needs some me time but is hesitant about leaving their child.
