AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Stantonsburg KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • My experience at KinderCare as a parent has been awesome. My daughter started daycare at the age of one, and it was very hard for me to let go and allow strangers to care for her eight hour work a days. As the days went by I became more comfortable and happy about my decision to allow my daughter to go to daycare. Every staff member is humble and sweet, each morning we are greeted with a warm smile, and every afternoon my daughter cries and gets upset because she is not ready to go home. The next month after my daughter turned two, she was potty trained, and if it was not for KinderCare that would had been a hard experience for me. KinderCare has been the best decision I’ve made for my daughter and I. I really appreciate the staffs hard work and dedication not only to my daughter, but to me as well. I really consider KinderCare as my extended family.

    Courtney P. – KinderCare Parent
  • I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express my gratitude to a wonderful learning development center, KinderCare Learning Center, located on Stantonsburg Road in Greenville, NC. I am a single mother of two wonderful children and that in its self is a full time job, but in addition I am employed full time in the public service field which can be extremely unpredictable at times. My son began his learning experience with KinderCare in January 2012 at the tender age of three. Since he has started with KinderCare his social and scholastic skills have improved greatly. His mannerisms have become free flowing and he often surprises me with his new intellects that seem to broaden on a daily basis. The staff is extremely informative and communicates with me freely which gives me a since of comfort and security. There is no doubt that KinderCare has improved the life of my son and my family and will continue to be a vital part of our lives.

    Heather S. – KinderCare Parent
  • It is a pleasure to share with you what KinderCare has meant to our family. Our daughter, now eight, started attending KinderCare when she was just eight weeks old. I was fortunate enough to work close by so I was able to visit her everyday at lunch. The staff was so very accommodating, understanding that my little girl means the world to me. When our daughter began walking and took her first big spill, the staff was kind enough to call me immediately and they invited me to come and comfort her and feel assured she was okay. I must admit I am a worrier extraordinaire so to have a staff so kind that they would think of my needs as a parent as well as what’s best for my daughter was more than I could have expected. Our daughter continued to grow and learn, making her way through all the classrooms and being cared for at some point by all the staff. She had cooking and music lessons. The preschool curriculum was taught so well, her Kindergarten evaluator commented that she was more than ready to begin school. Her graduation from KinderCare was certainly emotional for us as parents but you could see tears in other eyes as her name was announced. She was loved like family. We took a short break from KinderCare after Hannah began school so she could try other things but she is now back in the KinderCare after-school program. To be honest, it was like coming home, being with people I knew loved her and would take care of her the way I would. I’m not sure there is a way we could ever thank this KinderCare staff enough for not just taking care of our daughter but for taking care of her parents as well. Peace of mind as a parent is a rare thing, but we found it at our KinderCare.

    Amy M. – KinderCare Parent
  • I want to say thank you to the teachers at KinderCare on Stantonsburg road, for all that they do for my son Bobby and all the other children. I was excited when he came home and sang his first song, “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”. He is coming out of his shell and everyday his is telling me something about his school. Some things I understand from him and some I do not. Nevertheless, he is able to express himself. Gradually, he is telling me the names of some of the other children. I want to say thanks, once again, for a job well done. Keep up the good work.

Bobby Sr. and Phyllis L. – KinderCare Parent

Education

Greenville Schools are great value for money. You can pay two to three times more at a public four-year college and much more at a private college. You can also pay semester by semester. Payment by the hour is possible only after the full payment of the semester. This is when you are a new student. This structure was adopted from the SC college system and is now in place in many of the system’s colleges.

Students who enroll in the first ten days of the semester pay full fees. The fee is the sum of the number of remaining days in the semester, multiplied by the daily rate. Tuition is payable at the school the student attends and checks must be written at the school. Receipts must be issued for every transaction.

The school transfers all funds for education to the financial department. For enrollment, you must pay in advance for at least one semester. The Board of Trustees has approved that if district employees reside outside of this school district, their children may attend Greenville County schools free of charge.
