AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Calaveras KinderCare Programs

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • We became parents to a 21 month boy from Russia in Dec 2011 that did not know any English and, as expected, had separation anxiety. We were blessed to be able to bond with him for 6 weeks but, as full time working parents, we had to find a preschool that can nurture him in care, education, and social skills. We visited a handful of preschools but never felt comfortable until we visited Calaveras Kindercare in Fremont. The staff was very welcoming, and our son actually felt comfortable to explore the toddler room. The teachers were very understanding when he cried at drop off and had the skills to calm him down and make him comfortable. This trait still holds true today when I see other children being dropped off.

Our son started in the Toddler class, at age two moved to the Discovery Preschool class, at three to the Preschool class, at four to the Pre-K class and at five to the Transition Kindergarten class where he just graduated. In his time at KinderCare, he has learned so many things and has been equipped with the tools needed for Kindergarten, both academically and socially.

The staff is excellent. They have an open door policy and any concern I had was always taken care of. Lastly, the lunch menu/snacks are healthy. Our son loves to eat and never came home hungry! In fact, he taught us how to eat healthier!

If you’re looking for a preschool, I recommend you visit more than one but definitely visit Calaveras KinderCare and bring your child during the visit. You’ll know if/when it feels right.

  • Moving to Fremont a year ago, we were looking for a nice and warm place for our children to stay. After visiting several childcare facilities, we finally got to see Calaveras KinderCare. Anabel, the director, welcomed us with a warm smile, showed us the different classrooms our kids would stay in, explained the program and curriculum to us and we finally knew that we found the place we were looking for! It has been a year now, and all the teachers we have worked with are great. The staff is kind, helpful, and care about the children. Our kids love to go there.  It is good to know that this facility provides the love and care we were looking for.  They are learning to interact with other children of the same age group. They not only have so much fun playing with their friends but also learning a lot in a very child-friendly way. We feel very comfortable knowing our kids in trustful hands and enjoying their day.

  • Our four-year-old twins have been coming to KinderCare since the age of two. We transitioned from having a nanny at home to daycare five days a week.  This was a huge change and shift for our family. During this time, we also noticed that our son, in particular, was having some significant developmental delays. While we struggled to get answers, the KinderCare family was right there with us, always supportive and caring and committed to helping our son as much as we were. When he was finally diagnosed just prior to the age of three with Autism Spectrum Disorder, we began the process of getting him as much help as possible. Interventions include speech therapy, occupation therapy, and behavioral therapy. Again, the KinderCare family has accommodated our special needs by allowing these therapists to work with our son on-site and they have been instrumental in modifying practices in order to tailor his care according to his specific needs. KinderCare has even expanded their curriculum in order to educate the fellow kiddos about children who are different yet the same. We have noticed so many improvements in our son and he is thriving. We still have a long journey but our goal remains the same — we want to maximize the potential for both of our children in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where there are no judgement. And we are so blessed to have found that at KinderCare.  We are grateful to the wonderful KinderCare family!

  • Having to leave a child at daycare will make any parent feel nervous and uncertain.  With my three-year-old son in KinderCare, I am confident that he is being taught by the most loving and caring staff. Nothing makes me feel more secure than seeing my son hug his teachers and greeting them hello, or asking if he could stay longer when I come to pick him up.  I am infinitely grateful to the staff at KinderCare for providing a place for my son to laugh, learn, and feel loved.   Thank you!

    L. Perez – KinderCare Parent
  • My son goes here five days a week.  He’s two and has been going here a little over six months.  The teachers and management are top notch here. Anabel & Yolanda run this place and both are very good at their jobs.  All the teachers are friendly and very good with the kids.  My son has been in two classrooms now and loves all four teachers he’s had.  Leaving your kid somewhere daily is a big decision and I’m happy my son goes here everyday.

    Ryan A. – KinderCare Parent
  • I’ve been sending my daughter here part-time since she was about 20 months old. She is 24 months old now and I am very happy with her experience at KinderCare since the last four months. It is a safe, fun environment for children. I feel secure knowing that my daughter is well-looked after. Miss Nelly who is the primary care-giver for that age-group is very good, so are the other teachers who help her . You have a range of options from a minimum of two half-days a week to a maximum of five full days a week. Overall, I am very happy with the experience and can’t imagine entrusting my daughter to anybody else’s care!

    Neha U. – KinderCare Parent
  • I would like to start with a thank you note for the Center Director, Ms. Dianna. She is always caring and gives a personal attention to almost every kid. My daughter started with Discovery and Pre-K program but we had to discontinue due to Covid pandemic. With an increasing work-load I was having hard time managing both my daughter and my infant son. So, when I contacted Ms. Dianna, I was kind of lucky to know they had openings to accommodate both of my kids. The on-board process was hassle-free. Within a week I started experiencing their learning growth — the little one is becoming independent and for my daughter I feel her curiosity level has increased.

Not an exaggeration but sometimes I do feel my kids like KinderCare as if its their second home!
