AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Clark KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community.  Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • Our experience at Kindercare can only be described as fantastic!  When looking for a daycare for our twins, we were very disheartened visiting daycares in the area until I went in to the Clark Kindercare.  Everyone was super friendly from the Director to the teachers and even the kitchen manager.  Leaving there I knew the Clark Kindercare would be a perfect fit for our kids.  They started there at 11 months and are now finishing Kindergarten.  Many of the challenges parents face were eased for us with the help of the teachers at the Clark Kindercare.  Everything from eating real food to potty training was made easier for us with the help of their teachers.   We drop our kids off at 6:30 a.m. due to our schedule and our kids ask for us to come late to pick them up.  They love everything about the Clark Kindercare.  When leaving, it takes about twenty minutes longer because our kids need to say good-bye to all their previous teachers.  We will miss being there each day but am sure we will be back often to visit.

    Marcy H. – KinderCare Parent
  • Like many other moms, I did my research in the Scotch Plains/Westfield area for daycares. Ultimately we decided on Kindercare to enroll our 3 month old because of the hours and the structure from infant up to preschool. Of course things may change between now and then, but I have been nothing but pleased with our experience there thus far.

The fact that they don’t have motorized “babysitters” (aka swings) in the infant classrooms is a testament to the level of care they provide the babies. Their teachers are beyond wonderful. I would take them home if I could. They love the babies to the point of taking them from the carseat as soon as they arrive to not wanting to let go at the end of the day. That kind of warmth and dedication is what you want, especially when you’re sad about going back to work.

The place is clean, the incident reports are helpful, the staff is happy and they’re incredibly responsive to the parents’ needs. That’s all you want in a daycare.

    Erica Jade – KinderCare Parent
  • It’s been almost 2 years since we started at KinderCare and sadly we are staying goodbye while I become a stay at home mom. I think it says something about the center that I tear up when I think about no longer bringing my son there. We have truly grown to love KinderCare and it is due in large part to the people. Every teacher my son has had has been wonderful and I love that we still see all his old teachers around the center. They still come up and talk to him and talk to my newborn daughter. It is like extended family!

As an infant, knowing that he had such excellent, nurturing care givers gave me so much peace of mind. As he has gotten older, I have watched him grow into this smart little person and although I would love to take all the credit, it is thanks in large part to KinderCare. I will remember for the rest of my life sitting in our basement one day as he stacked his blocks and counted them to 10 all by himself. I just stared at him shocked bc as much as I wanted my amazing parenting skills to take credit for that one, he learned it all at “school.”

As a first time parent, I was admittedly anti-daycare center. After going with an in-home provider that was a complete disaster, I opened my mind to centers and I am forever thankful I did. KinderCare has been a partner in raising our child and we are so happy we found them!

    Kris P. – KinderCare Parent
  • It is hard to believe that this is our daughter’s last week at KinderCare.

Words can’t express how much our family appreciates the caring learning environment that our daughter has experienced this year. Mr. Miguel and Miss Samantha are amazing with the class (that’s a huge understatement).

    Thank you.

    Mary P. – KinderCare Parent
  • Dear Marilyn and Carol, Usually people only write letters to complain, but that is not the case for me. I wanted you both to know that my husband and I are extremely happy with everything about your KinderCare facility. We know that our children are extremely well cared for and learning way beyond what they were learning at their prior daycare. The Phonics program is amazing. In less than six months our daughter can recognize eighteen letter sounds. This is absolutely amazing! She enjoys learning and is so proud of all she knows. Thank you for all that you are doing for our child both in regards to education and caring.

    Michelle A. – KinderCare Parent
  • My son’s teacher wanted to know where my son attended Preschool. She was so impressed that he was so much further advanced than his classmates in Kindergarten. Thank you KinderCare.

Clark MacArthur: “Subban hit Stone on purpose, it was a lumberjack strike” – Hockey

Ottawa forward Clark MacArthur commented on the removal of Montreal defenseman P. K. Subban in the team’s first game of the first round of the Stanley Cup series.

“I think he hit Stone on purpose. This isn’t the first time he’s hurt someone. It was the lumberjack’s blow. The judges decided that this was the removal to the end. Let’s see what will happen next.

Emotions at the end of the game? Now everyone is fighting for his life. You need to keep your opponent in check. So, some moments like that will happen one way or another, but discipline will be an important point in the series,” MacArthur said.

Recall that Montreal won the first match – 4:3.

Before Saying Goodbye read online by Mary Higgins Clark (Page 11)

“And if she agrees…” Curtis Little began.

– If she agrees, Ian Maxwell will follow the initial design, according to which the tower should stand on Adam’s site. If not… by the way, I told Adam that the tower can be placed behind the main building and the idea will almost not lose.

– I wonder if Adam had survived, would you have been able to persuade him and persuade him to sell the plot? John Hilmer asked.

“I think so,” Lang smiled. “They don’t speak ill of the dead, but the guy had an extremely bloated self. He exaggerated his abilities both in architecture and in business. However, Adam was by no means stupid. I don’t think my offer to resell the property would have made him too happy. However, he understood the difference between his ambitions and reality. At our last meeting, I told him: “If you don’t want to sell the site to me, donate it to the city. Let them arrange another “pocket park” there.

Lang smiled sourly at his own joke. Curtis Little didn’t seem to be listening to him. The bank official looked at the layout carefully.

– Peter, of course, you can put a tower behind the main building, but then you will obviously lose both in terms of aesthetics and the number of tenants. If it comes down to it, I’m not sure our bank would be willing to invest in a project like this,” Little said.

“I didn’t doubt your bank’s position,” Lang smiled again. “But Adam Coliff didn’t know that. A provincial who, by chance, ended up where he would never go. Not from him first New York blows cowboy arrogance. Believe me, he would still sell us the land for our price.

John Hilmer, newly appointed vice president of investment and venture capital at Overland Bank, has not had an easy journey. Fate did not smile on him as it did on Peter Lang, and now, listening to the cynical reasoning of the owner of the hall, Hilmer felt more and more antipathy for him.

A minor traffic accident saved Lang’s life. “Maybe he thinks that fate should smile at him all the time? Hilmer thought. “In all this time, not a single word of sympathy for Coliff and the other victims of the explosion on the yacht.

Lang must still be mad at Adam for his intractability. “And fate really smiles at its minion,” Hilmer continued to reflect. “She obligingly burned down the Vandermeer mansion, then saved him from certain death, and now she is going to give another gift.” Hilmer wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. Of course, real estate is not a business for the faint of heart. Still, Lang’s company made him uncomfortable.

As the game ended, John Hilmer found himself thinking another thought: his son, a blocking linebacker on his college football team, often gets more injured in a game than Peter Lang got hit by a truck.

When Jack Sclafani and George Brennan returned from the memorial mass, they sat in Jack’s office silently eating hot smoked beef sandwiches they had bought along the way, washing them down with the same hot coffee. Then, as if on cue, they both stuffed the half-eaten pickled, generously combed cucumbers into plastic bags and tossed them into the wastebasket.

— What about Widow Rayen? Brennan asked.

– The woman is very frightened of something. When she saw us, she lashed out like a rabbit caught in a cabbage.

— I wonder what she’s so afraid of?

– I don’t know. But I felt like something was bothering her. She seems to want to get rid of something.

“Then she must be a Catholic,” Brennan smiled. – Feelings of guilt, the need to confess.

Both grew up in Catholic families and attended church regularly. A long time ago, Brennan and Sclafani came to the conclusion that everyone who grew up in a Catholic family is used to repenting of sins and asking for forgiveness. Sometimes, they joked, it makes the job a lot easier.

Sclafani mentally reconstructed the picture of Lisa Ryan’s hasty flight. She went up to Nell McDermott and started talking about something. Probably their conversation would have continued further, but then Lisa noticed him and George, and terrible fear appeared in her eyes. What I would give to know what Widow Ryan was going to talk to Widow Coliff about, thought Jack. “And they probably would have had a conversation if we hadn’t scared her off.”

“I think we should visit Lisa Ryan,” Sclafani said to his friend. She obviously knows something, and this knowledge frightens her, that’s why she rushes about.

— Do you think she has evidence of her husband’s guilt? Brennan asked.

– In any case, she has some evidence. True, it’s too early to draw conclusions… By the way, did Interpol respond to our inquiry about Kaplan?

— Now I know.

Brennan picked up the phone and called the Interpol liaison officer. As he listened, his face darkened more and more.

“We weren’t mistaken,” George said after he finished talking on the phone. – In Australia, Kaplan was not a good boy either. There, a fair tail of sins trails behind him. Mostly little things. But for one crime, he served a year. He was caught red-handed: Australian police found explosives in the trunk of Kaplan’s car. Then he worked for a demolition company. Explosives were stolen directly from the workplace. Fortunately, our “hero” was caught in time. But unfortunately, the local police were never able to figure out why Kaplan needed explosives. They suspected that someone had hired him, but there was no evidence, and he only received time for stealing explosives.

Brennan stood up.

“We should also visit Jed Kaplan,” he said.

— With a search warrant?

– Guessed. With such a “track record” and undisguised hostility to Adam Coliff, we will be able to get a warrant today.

– You’re right, George. But I still want to talk to Lisa Ryan. Kaplan, of course. However, this woman knows something very important. I won’t be surprised if the cause of her fear helps to unravel the cause of the explosion on the yacht.

The Old Wood Guest House was very close to busy Highway 287. In fact, these places were considered the suburbs of New York, but as soon as Nell turned off the highway, the landscape around her changed dramatically. As if by magic, all traces of the New York suburbs vanished. It seemed to Nell that she was in England and was now driving up to the residence of a wealthy landlord.

In her time, Nell often traveled with her grandfather to nursing homes. Some institutions forced her to remember the novels of Dickens (Mack called them the shame of America and achieved the closure of several of them). Others looked more like modest but quite modern hospitals. There were also those who would have passed for hotels for the upper strata of society.

Nell felt the level of the “Old Forest” as soon as she crossed the threshold. She ended up in a luxurious lobby, where she was immediately noticed and greeted by the duty administrator. Having learned about the purpose of her visit, he smiled again and began to call somewhere on the local phone. Like a royal palace, Nell thought.

Soon a woman in her sixties came out of the side door. Naturally, a friendly smile shone on her face. She said she was seeing Nell.

A silent elevator took them to the second floor.

“Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself,” the woman said. My name is Georgina Matthews and I volunteer here several nights a week. Mrs. Johnson occupies room two hundred and sixteen. You can’t even imagine what a blow her daughter’s death was to her. We are all trying to help her in any way we can. However, I have to warn you: she is angry with the whole world.

“Well, we’re alike in that,” thought Nell.

The corridor on the second floor was covered with beautiful, tasteful carpets. Nell saw old people moving around in wheelchairs or pushing a “walker” cart in front of them. Georgina Matthews managed to smile and say encouraging words to each.

Nell immediately noticed that all these decrepit old men and women were not just well-groomed, but well-groomed.

– Forgive me for curiosity, how many attendants are there for each guest of the boarding house? she asked her guide.

“The ratio is two to three,” Georgina replied, giving Nell another smile. “Of course, that number also includes doctors and registered nurses… Here we are,” she added, pausing at the lacquered door. This is Mrs. Johnson’s apartment. She has already been informed, and she is waiting for you.

Georgina Matthews knocked softly on the door, then opened it.

Rhoda Johnson seated in a reclining chair [A common US type of easy chair that is mechanically or electrically tilted to a reclining position with a footrest extending from under the seat. Changing the sitting posture automatically changes the angle of the chair back.]. Her legs were raised and covered with a light blanket. Perhaps, once this broad-shouldered woman with thick salt and pepper hair was beautiful.

“So Winifred didn’t take after her mother in shape and figure,” Nell thought, remembering Mrs. Johnson’s slender, straight-haired daughter. And she was born quite late. The old woman is close to eighty now.”

Rhoda Johnson, who was dozing, opened her eyes when she heard them enter the room and fixed them on Nell.

– I was informed of your arrival. Perhaps I should be thankful.

“Mrs. Johnson, please,” Georgina Matthews shook her head reproachfully.

The old woman didn’t even pay attention to her.

– Winifred did a great job with Walters and Arsdale. So many years and not a single complaint. Her salary was constantly increased, otherwise she could not have placed me here. Before that I was in another boarding house. Oh, how I hated that rat house! You should know that I was against Winifred going to work for your husband. I gouged all her brains, tried to convince her of what stupidity she was doing. Where exactly! She didn’t want to hear. And which of us was right?

— Believe me, Mrs. Johnson, I am also very sad for Winifred. I imagine how you feel now. Tell me, is there anything I can help you with?

Nell caught Georgina Matthews’ surprised look. “They should know about Adam’s death. I guess when I called from home, they didn’t realize who was talking.

Georgina gently touched her hand.

“Sorry,” she muttered guiltily. “I should have guessed… With your permission, I’ll leave the two of you.” I have great hope in you,” she added, turning to Rhoda Johnson.

Nell waited for the door to close behind the servant, and only then did she say to the old woman:

— Mrs. Johnson, I understand how hard and lonely you are now. I myself am in the same state, that’s why I decided to visit you.

She suddenly pulled her chair up to the recliner and kissed the old woman on the cheek.

– If I am a burden to you, I will leave immediately and will not be offended in the least.

“You have nothing to do with it at all,” Rhoda Johnson answered more gently. “I just don’t understand why your husband tried to persuade Winifred to leave her old job so much?” I would open my own company, see how things are going. And Winifred would have seen if it was worth crossing over. And why did she get off the ground? Great pay, lots of perks. What did she think of me when she succumbed to your husband’s persuasion? Of course not! What is her mother?

“Perhaps your daughter still has an insurance policy and that company can pay for all the expenses of your stay here,” Nell suggested.

– If she had such a policy, I did not know about it. Winifred knew how to be secretive.

– Tell me, did Winifred have an individual safe deposit box in some bank?

– Why does she need a cell? What would she keep there?

Nell smiled involuntarily. A lot, she thought.

— In that case, where did Winifred keep her personal papers?

– Most likely, in our home, in the desk. By the way, we have a nice apartment. There have never been crazy rent jumps. Winifred was still in kindergarten when we moved in. If it wasn’t for the arthritis, I would still be living there. He got me to the end.

– Maybe you can ask one of the neighbors to come to your apartment to look for insurance documents and send them here?

– There is no need for neighbors to poke their nose into my affairs! the old woman snapped.

— Do you have a lawyer?

— Why do I need a lawyer?

Rhoda Johnson suddenly fixed her eyes on Nell.

— Your grandfather’s name is Cornelius McDermott, isn’t it?

– Yes.

– A good man, one of the few honest politicians in America today.

Thank you, Mrs. Johnson.

– Tell me: if I ask you to go to our apartment and look for these insurances, will he agree to go with you? – I think yes.

– When Winifred was very young, we lived in his area and voted for him. My husband said that such people should sit in the government. She started crying.

“I miss Winifred very much,” the old woman sobbed several times. She was a wonderful person and did not deserve such a fate. She just lacked determination, poor thing. She couldn’t stand her ground. Always trying to please others. Others didn’t appreciate it. Here we are similar to her … She did not spare herself, working for the company. Do you think you noticed it right away? Where exactly! Only in recent years has she been paid decent money.

Something’s wrong here, thought Nell. “At first she told me that Winifred was constantly getting a raise. And now, it turns out, her daughter worked for Walters and Arsdale for almost a pittance.

— Mrs. Johnson, I am sure that my grandfather will certainly agree to help you. Tell me, maybe, in addition to papers, you can bring something from there?

Rhoda Johnson reached for a handkerchief. It was only now that Nell noticed the swollen, ugly twisted fingers of the old woman.

— There are several framed pictures in the living room. Bring them if you can. And further. Wouldn’t it be difficult for you to look for Winifred’s sports awards? She was also an athlete. I was fond of swimming. In her youth, she constantly won competitions. Her coach urged me to let Winifred stay on the team. Promised that in time she would become the second Esther Williams [Famous American swimmer and film actress (p. 1922).]. And then I started getting arthritis. Winifred’s father left us. I imagined that because of the competition I would see her only in fits and starts … In a word, I said “no”. Winifred couldn’t get her way here either. And she loved sports so much…

“How? How do I tell Nell about what I learned from Bonnie Wilson?” Herta asked herself again and again. She didn’t doubt the veracity of Bonnie’s words. Adam tries to make contact with Nell. This was to be expected. But Nell herself was very skeptical about such things. Stubborn girl! He does not want to admit that there is a gift of clairvoyance, there are clairvoyants who do a lot of useful things. Moreover, Nell already possessed this gift, but she was afraid of it and did not want to develop it. However, is it any wonder if Cornelius always called parapsychological phenomena nothing more than whirlwinds of fantasy?

Gerta could not hold back her tears even now, remembering the words of ten-year-old Nell: “Aunt Gerta, but why doesn’t grandfather believe that mom and dad came to say goodbye to me? They really came, but I didn’t see them. Do you remember how dad always stroked my hair? I was walking to class from recess and felt my father’s hand. He stroked my hair. And then my mom kissed me. I felt her kiss and cried. I realized that I would not see them again … No, I even knew it. And the grandfather assures that this could not be. According to him, I invented everything.

Herta then said to her brother: “Don’t you think that this is not just a childish fantasy? Nell didn’t know when her parents’ plane disappeared from the radar screen. But they came to her just at the time when the connection with the plane was cut off … Alas, Cornelius was true to himself: “There is nothing to fill the girl’s head with various nonsense!”

But Nell’s abilities manifested themselves in early childhood. Her grandmother Madeleine died when Nell was only four years old. Herta remembered that morning… Nell rushed into the living room, beaming with joy: at night her grandmother came into her room. So, the granny recovered and she was released from the hospital . .. Naturally, Cornelius attributed all this to an ordinary childhood dream.

No, it’s best not to tell your brother about her meeting with Bonnie Wilson today. And she will ask Nell to keep her mouth shut. Whether she wants to date Bonnie or not, let her decide.

At eight in the evening, Herta called her great-niece. After the third long beep, the answering machine turned on. She probably doesn’t want to be disturbed today, Herta decided.

“Nell, my girl, I just wanted to know how you are,” she said into the phone and immediately added: “Actually, I have an important conversation with you.

“Aunt Gerta, I’m home,” Nell’s voice came over the phone. – Something happened?

It seemed to Gert that Nell had been crying just recently. Maybe this news will console her?

— Nell, Bonnie Wilson came to see me today. One of our clairvoyants. She helps people connect with their loved ones who have left our plane of existence… Nell, please don’t chuckle. Many have complete confidence in Bonnie’s abilities. If you want, I’ll tell you their names. Bonnie told me that Adam contacted her. She would like to meet you.

Herta hurriedly blurted out the words, fearful that Nell would hang up the phone.

“Gerta, you know I don’t believe in such things,” Nell replied quietly. “We have talked about this many times before. Let’s not bring this up again, and especially in connection with Adam.

Short beeps were heard in the handset. Herta was about to call back and apologize for her clumsy intrusion. She was sure she had angered Nell. Meanwhile, after her call, Nell experienced completely different feelings: fear and uncertainty.

Bonnie Wilson… Nell remembered last year’s TV show with clairvoyants. Among them was Bonnie. Viewers were invited to call the studio and see for themselves the abilities of the psychics present. A woman asked about her husband who died in a car accident, and Bonnie gave her a very vivid, true picture.
