AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Hayward Road KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Our family has been with KLC on Hayward Rd. in Acton for almost 5 years. Both of our boys absolutely love going there, and my husband and I feel fortunate to have such caring and thoughtful teachers looking after them. KLC is loving, stimulating, and safe environment where our sons (and us!) have made many friends, and grown so much.

Okay, I don’t really know how this KinderCare facility retains its teachers and staff, but I can tell you how grateful the students’ families are that it does! While we may not know what the ingredients are, it’s apparent that there is a certain chemistry and level of standards at this facility that lifts up the students and the teachers and encourages them to stay at that higher level. I can’t think of a single teacher there who has taken the easy road when she was tired or having a hard day. The level of effort and professionalism is really incredible, especially compared to other workplaces I’ve observed that had far fewer challenges.
There is the appreciation I have for Kristin’s cooking class, when I find myself chopping apples (for what seems like hours) in order to replicate those cute little mini apple pies the following weekend. There is the appreciation I have for each of the teachers that my daughter has had the good fortune to be associated with. There is the excellent advice that is always available when I need help with a behavioral or learning pattern. The staff and teachers have to deal with a wide range of personalities among the students and parents, and they do that consistently and kindly. I’m sure there are lots of special requests and “Did you know that…?” conversations from parents, and the staff and teachers are accommodating but honest, based on their years of experience. I hope that the annual Teacher Appreciation Week gives you a sense of how much the parents appreciate wonderful teachers like you!
Lastly, I want to confirm that first impressions during daycare center tours are very important, and in this case they were also correct. Before visiting this KinderCare, I had visited four other centers (after leaving a center because of one grumpy teacher who was, unfortunately, the main “greeter” for parents every morning). I loved the wide range of teacher ages I saw at KinderCare, because it gives you that combination of experience and new ideas. I also liked the fact that the teachers seemed genuine, and didn’t drop everything to come talk to me. They did talk to me, of course, but they were still taking care of the children, and it didn’t look like a performance for visitors. That first impression has proven true through the past 3.5 years: the staff and teachers are genuine but honest, and give it their all every day. Many of you are parents as well, so you know what I mean when I say “it means the world to know your child is in excellent hands”. I have a hard time imagining what it will be like when my daughter moves on to Kindergarten, but I know it will involve a lot of gratitude, excitement and sadness.Stephanie W. – KinderCare Parent

“Leave my child with a stranger? No way!”
That is definitely the first thought that every new parent has when considering child care.
Two children and five-and-a-half years and later, we can definitely say that the teachers at KinderCare are far from strangers. They have been such a huge influence in both of our kids’ daily lives. The teachers and staff at the center have been responsible for helping them grow, shaping who they are, and keeping them safe. It is so important knowing that you can trust the teachers and caregivers that you leave your child with daily and it’s reassuring knowing that within no time, they are like part of your family. Both our kids and us value the special connections we have made through KinderCare.Becky and Andrew D. – KinderCare Parent

We moved to Acton about two years ago and one of my biggest stressors was finding a daycare for my two children. After I toured the Hayward Road KinderCare with Helena Prentiss, the Center Director, and met some of the teachers, I left knowing that my children would be cared for, loved and valued here. I could feel that Helena and her teachers had created something special. Two years later, I was right! If you ask my three-year-old what he likes most about school, he just starts naming his teachers: “Elena, Jen, Andrea, Nancy, Debbie, Stephanie, Carrie, Barbara…” and on it goes. Any teacher who is there at the end of the day gets a big smile, hug, and goodbye from him—he clearly loves them, and I can see they love him too. Yes it is important that he learns his ABC’s, his colors and numbers, and he is, but that his teachers also show him through their actions and words that he is special and valued provides him the foundation for developing his own self-confidence and sense of self-worth and that is invaluable. To me it’s what excellent teachers do.
I could go on with many examples of how Helena and her staff have supported my whole family, in times of work crises, family emergencies and medical scares. But suffice it to say that the Hayward Road KinderCare is a community of support, love and care that I am grateful, and proud my family is part of.Sandy M. – KinderCare Parent

My son has been attending The Learning Experience in Billerica for the past year. When he first started I was dragging him through the door most mornings but now he seems excited to go almost everyday. He loveshis friends and his teachers and is greeted warmly by the staff everyday. The staff along with the entire administration team are very welcoming, kind, and friendly. If there were any concerns I had with my son or something going on it was taken care of swiftly and professionally. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to look into this center….

At Bouncing Bunnies Family Daycare, we are dedicated to creating a happy and stimulating environment that offers love, acceptance, and a place where every child feels safe and secure. Here, the safety, needs, and happiness of all children is our top priority. With over fifteen years of experience in the family childcare and preschool settings, we strongly believe that play is the work of young children. It is with this philosophy that we have created our environment, placing an emphasis on learning through play and exploration.
Young minds are given the opportunity to grow and to create their own worlds through imaginary play, using all five senses to learn about everyday wonders. Our program is designed to allow children to socialize and interact with their young peers, while offering them the opportunity to play and explore in a variety of inventive, age-appropriate activities.
Additionally, we enjoy a seasonal curriculum that focuses on the highlights that each season offers. We engage in a hands-on, sensory experience through arts-and-crafts and interactive story time. When the weather permits us to do so, we spend the majority of our time outside. With ride-on toys, a swing set, and neighborhood walks, we allow for an exploration of nature, exercise of gross motor skills, and an outdoor experience that is always fun-filled.
My years as a mother and childcare provider have taught me innumerable lessons, such as the value of fostering creative thinking; the importance of outdoor play, musical enjoyment, and story time; as well as the power of independent reading, problem solving and self-help skills. I always discuss any concerns – physical or behavioral – with parents, and I view strong communication between families and myself with the highest regard. Although it’s always sad to see the children grow up and move on from my home daycare to preschool or pre-K, parents can be confident that their children are prepared to thrive and succeed in a larger environment. Thank you for your interest in our program, and I look forward to working with you and seeing your little ones grow!

Good teachers but very bad administration. It seems as everyday they find a new excuse to send the child home. How they can come up with enough excuses to keep your child out of daycare 3 weeks per month and still charge you is just out of my imagination. Very disappointed.

Teachers seem knowledgeable, but administration is not very organized!
My child has been picked up @ 6:00 Pm with shirt wet since snack time @3:30PM, shoes with no socks, where there were extra socks inside his backpack… Kate and Susie are by far the most loving teachers if you child should attend the school!

Blossom Station – Child Care Center Inc.
Blossom Station Child Care Center is a full service early childhood program. Our intention is to provide flexibility and dependability, as well as developmental stimulation in a warm, nurturing, and safe environment. Our staff are trained professionals in early childhood education and strive daily to meet your child’s individual needs. We look forward to working together with each family so that we may help every child reach his or her potential.
Goals
- To provide a nurturing environment that encourages personal growth, independence, and a positive self-image.
- To help a child develop respect for the ideas and feelings of others, tolerate differences, and understand the world around them.
- To provide a variety of materials and activities that will help the development of fine and gross motor skills.
- To provide an environment in which children can explore every day phenomena in many first hand sensory ways to increase conceptual understanding.
- To provide various means of communication and expression through the use of language arts and creative arts.
- To provide children with an opportunity to enjoy childhood and to make play an important part of every day.
We Believe
We believe that children are individuals with unique learning styles. Children learn through their play, and we try to provide a stimulating environment in which they can satisfy their natural curiosity.
Blossom Station has developed a curriculum which challenges every child, and enhances their growth academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our curriculum is further enhanced with a comprehensive enrichment program. We strive daily to promote the development of a positive self-image in every child.
Our Comprehensive Child Care Programs
Infants
Our infant program allows an easy transition from home to school while maintaining individual schedules. We provide a stimulating and nurturing environment and communicate with parents on a regular basis through written daily reports. We will provide opportunities for your infant to explore every day phenomena in many first-hand sensory ways to increase conceptual understanding.
Toddlers
Our toddler program offers a safe environment that’s perfect for active toddlers to explore. Your toddler is entering an exciting time of growth and discovery. Our toddler teachers create a classroom with many different areas where your child is encouraged to explore and learn. We maintain a daily routine to provide the structure toddlers crave and we offer the excitement of daily discoveries.
Preschool & Pre-K
Blossom Station Child Care Center continues the process of your child’s socialization, communication and independent self-help skills that are vital to the development of the whole child. Here children are exposed to the world around them through nature, music, gym, literacy, dramatic play, blocks, arts & crafts, and field trips. Literacy is achieved with story-telling and exposure to the written word, using a variety of media and communication with their teachers and peers. Creativity is encouraged through role playing with a variety of themes developed in the dramatic play area.
Full Day Private Kindergarten
Our private, full day, year round kindergarten program was created for children who are resourceful, individualistic, curious, competent and imaginative. Our classroom provides the right blend of child initiated learning and teacher guided curriculum. Our creative developmental curriculum, based upon the Reggio Emilia approach, is comprised of creative art projects, scientific explorations, journal writing and reading skills all of which conform to public school guidelines. The children in the program adhere to the guidelines set forth by the public school system. The small class size is challenging, stimulating, enriching, friendly and enjoyable. Our goal is to send your child to the first grade and beyond with the social, emotional and learning competencies they need to succeed in life.
Before and After School
Our Before and After school program supports the public school student. They are able to play with their peers, participate in our monthly science, cooking and music enrichment programs and receive assistance with their homework. Computers are available for each student’s academic support, personal enrichment and recreation. On appropriate weather days the students are able to explore our spacious outdoor recreational area which contains state-of-the art safe climbing structures.
Parent Involvement
Our open door policy encourages visits and inquires from parents. We encourage you to call your child’s teacher, drop by for lunch, and fully participate in your child’s growth process.
Choosing a child care center is not an easy task, but we are here to help make it easier for you. We offer full and part-time programs to accommodate your family’s schedule. Come talk with us about your child, your concerns, and your child care needs
