In Yekaterinburg, a mother wants to punish the teacher of kindergarten No. 23 on Krasnolesya Street for forcibly pulling her son out from under the bed during a quiet hour. It all happened on May 4 from about 14:00 to 15:00 in the afternoon. The boy was already falling asleep, but suddenly he wanted to go to the toilet, and when he returned, he hid under his bed.

The teacher Irina Shliskevich tried to get him, but the child was frightened and began to scream. Another teacher ran to the rescue, the two of them still pulled the boy out, but there were abrasions on his body.

— When I picked up the child from the kindergarten, I did not notice any injuries on his body, as he was wearing trousers and a long-sleeved jacket. Already at home, having seen numerous bruises and abrasions, I immediately went to the clinic, Natalia Eliseeva, the boy’s mother, told E1.RU.

After the polyclinic, mother went to the police department and wrote a statement to the teacher, and then to the emergency room of the ninth children’s hospital. There, the boy recorded abrasions and bruises on his arms, legs, stomach and back. The next day, the child underwent a forensic medical examination at Serafima Deryabina, 41.

“Several dozen injuries were described: abrasions, scratches, bruises from fingers,” says my mother. – The child complained of headaches, he was afraid to be alone in the room, he began to have a nervous tic. The son was deprived of the right to celebrate graduation in kindergarten with friends, which he had been waiting for so long.

The results of the examination indicated that the damage could have been caused by blows, compression, friction with a blunt hard object against the skin. They did not entail a short-term health disorder or disability, therefore they are qualified as not causing harm to health. At the same time, more than 50 different abrasions are indicated in the document.

Natalia claims that this is not the first case of this kind in the kindergarten: the teacher allegedly kicked her child once.

– He was so intimidated that at home he said almost nothing. He said that Irina Dmitrievna heard him at home and that it was impossible to say anything about her. He complained to me, but then I said: “You are exaggerating” and did not understand, – says Natalia Eliseeva.

The police refused to initiate a criminal case against Natalia, and she received an answer only on 5 June. The resolution (available to the E1.RU editors) indicated that the boy kicked the cots of other children from below, which woke up the kids. The teachers tried to persuade him to get out, but nothing worked, and then he got stuck under one of the beds. They got him, but the child began to play further and caught his foot on the bed. They helped him out again, and only after that did he calm down.

The child was described in the resolution as restless, conflicted and even aggressive, referring to the characteristics of the psychologist and kindergarten teachers.

— At the request of the child’s mother, police department No. 4 of the Leninsky district carried out a thorough check of the circumstances of this incident. In the course of the proceedings, the involvement of the kindergarten staff in the infliction of bodily harm to minors was not established. According to available information, the child could have been injured due to his own negligence, the police commented on the incident to E1.RU.

In a kindergarten, a teacher was brought to disciplinary responsibility.

Natalia does not understand why she was not called to interrogation and did not talk to the child. She wrote a statement to the prosecutor’s office with a request to conduct an inspection in the kindergarten and the police department, and also turned to the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights Igor Morokov and Ombudsman Tatyana Merzlyakova for help.

— My son was trained for the first grade at school No. 16, where the teachers characterized him as a capable, intelligent child. He passed the entrance test with excellent marks, he was given a “Commendation Sheet”. He can read, write, works best with scissors. Fine motor skills, speech and orientation in space are very well developed in the child, – Natalia Eliseeva is sure. – If necessary, we are ready to undergo any examination related to the development of my son.

From that day on, Natalia no longer takes her son to kindergarten, but pays for a private camp.

The Department of Education of Yekaterinburg explained to E1.RU that they considered all the mother’s appeals, but did not find any evidence that the boy was injured because of the teacher. Irina Shliskevich herself replied to E1.RU that she could not comment on the conflict without the permission of the management. The E1.RU correspondent could not get through to the head of the kindergarten.
