Not good. My child was very unhappy there.

09/26/2019

Our daughter attended this daycare for almost two years. After trying a daycare center, we sought a smaller more nurturing environment where she could continue to learn and develop. Gheorge and Gabriella treat the children like family, and provide specialized attention and structure. We always knew that our daughter was loved and cared for while we worked – that piece of mind is priceless. Our daughter was well prepared for pre-k and transitioned beautifully. We are so thankful for Gheorge and Gabriella! We still stop by whenever we can to spend time and say hello.

02/20/2018

My son attended International daycare of Bethesda for over 2 years. Gheorge is an incredible teacher and treated each child with respect and love. Our son learned so much under their care, and most importantly felt loved and supported.

09/20/2017

We truly love this daycare and are so happy with the care of George and Gabriella for our 20 month old son. For the poster who noted that they were concerned about the fact that a man noted he runs the daycare, it used to be run by George and his wife until she passed away and is now run by George and an employee he has. My son loves going to this daycare, and is so happy to see them. They are so loving towards him, yet also provide a very structured environment that is helping him thrive. Couldn’t be more thrilled to have found this gem!

09/20/2017

We couldn’t be happier with International Daycare of Bethesda. It is clear that the director, Georghe Ilie and Gabriella love what they do and treat the children as their own. Our little guy looks forward to being there and often does not want to leave. The center is immaculately kept, very clean and orderly. The space is very bright and cheerful, and there is a great outdoor space for the kids to play. This is a gem very conveniently located inside the Beltway.

07/18/2017

I called about a slot for my infant. I got a generic voicemail so I did not leave a voicemail. Minutes later, a man called back and asked if I “called this number”. I said yes and asked if he was the daycare director and he said yes. This was alarming since their website says Marina (a woman) is the director. I said nevermind and hung up. Very sketchy so I will not be contacting this “daycare” again.

06/06/2016

My daughter spent her first 3-1/2 years of life in the Ilie’s care, and I can’t imagine having found a better experience for my daughter. I searched extensively for daycares throughout the region before finding this one, and was relieved to find one which gave me the confidence, comfort and peace of mind that my daughter was in good hands.

We loved the small group, family-like atmosphere, personal individualized care, all the learning activities and fun, and great facilities for play inside and out. My daughter learned so much here, both socially and academically, and she was completely prepared for pre-k and kindergarten. Gheorge and his assistants care for the children as if they are their own. Highly recommend!

05/06/2016

International Day Care of Bethesda is a wonderful in-home day care that provides a very nuturing and loving environment from infants to school age children. They treat the children as if they were their own. They provide many different activities that create social interaction at a young age as well as a strong learning environment. They really helped to prepare my son for a smooth transition into Kindergarten.

05/02/2016

We love Gheorghe Ilie’s day care! We found them after searching high and low for our first kid as nervous first time parents. They were the perfect place! It is a treasure tucked in the NIH-Rockville-Bethesda area. After we had our second child we drove 6.5 miles each day just so we could do the same place for our little boy! Both our kids loved/love it there! Activities are very carefully and meticulously done at the pace of the child. They are very structured and orderly with their schedule. It is an oasis of homely love and intuitive teaching for young minds.

Age crises occur in both adults and children. Only in children, these crises occur quite more often than in adults. Each such age crisis is very important in the life of a child, with the help of it he receives certain skills, experience – this is a kind of step to rise to a new level of development of the crumbs.

Time passes, children grow up. It would seem that just yesterday your baby was a little baby and would not say a rude word, but then suddenly, he began to answer, and even with rudeness. Many mothers and fathers fall into a stupor and do not know what to do in those cases when the child begins to be rude to them in response.

Every parent wants only the best for their child. This applies to everything. This also applies to toys. And most mothers ask such questions: What do you need educational games or toys for? How many toys should a child have and should he be taught to play? We suggest that you deal with all these issues in order.

Every parent wants to raise their child to be polite, so that he knows good manners, but not everyone knows how and when all this can and should be taught. It is best to start instilling rules of conduct from an early age. We offer you some recommendations on this issue.

Everyone knows what the daily routine is. But not everyone knows and knows how to organize it correctly. We propose to understand what the daily routine is, what it should be like for preschool children and whether they need it at all.

Modeling is at first glance a simple activity for children, and some do not even realize that this is a very useful, important and necessary activity for any child.

Many mothers and fathers have noticed for their children that at home they are bold and brave, they can recite excerpts from great works by heart, sing, dance, calmly make contact with guests and communicate with them.

What is discipline, and how should a child be disciplined, and should it be done at all? This is one of the most frequently asked questions by parents these days. We invite you to explore these interesting questions.

Self-confidence is, of course, an important quality that every person should have. And it is very important to instill this quality in a child at an early age, and develop it so that an indecisive, notorious, self-doubting person does not grow out of an insecure baby.

The relationship between parents and children is a complex and important process. And every parent dreams of these relationships being trusting and friendly, so that the child hears and listens to them, shares his experiences.
