Update: The Oak Park Pool in now open for the 2023 season!

The City of Southfield and City of Oak Park have once again entered into an intergovernmental agreement that will allow Southfield residents to use the Oak Park Pool throughout the summer at Resident rates. The 2023 season will run through Saturday, August 19.

Our next Southfield Day at the Oak Park Pool will be Saturday, July 29 from 6:30-8:30 pm. This is a special swim time where Southfield residents can enjoy free admission along with swimming, activities, and more. Additional Southfield Days at the Oak Park Pool are scheduled for: Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 13.

The Oak Park Pool is located at 14300 Oak Park Blvd. (between Greenfield and Coolidge) and features zero depth entry and a splash zone for the kids to enjoy.

Monday-Thursday     2-7 pm                                            Ages 3 and under, FREE

Friday     1-8 pm                                                               Ages 4 – 54, $4/day

Saturday & Sunday     1-6 pm                                           Ages 55 and up $3/day

Miss Paula and the Candy Bandits are coming to the Municipal Campus front lawn on Wednesday, July 19 for a special Kids Concert! Grab the family and spend your lunchtime having fun outside listening to music that will have you all up and dancing and singing along.

Clever and Quirky songs? Miss Paula knows how to write ‘em! From “Stand Right Up (Sit Back Down)” to “Simon Says” – these tunes embrace what it’s like to be a kid that knows how to follow rock-and-roll directions. No cleaning up your room with this band, it’s all about fun, fun, fun!! Songs like “Monster Truck” and “Pizza Song” promise to be stuck in your head FOREVER! 

So, pack a picnic lunch and bring lawn chairs or a nice big blanket to sit on while you enjoy the concert but be prepared to sing along, dance and have fun!

Civic Center Park Tennis Courts Are Open

The tennis courts at Civic Center Park are back open for play. 

In addition to the new surface and lines on all the courts, court #7 (the one court in back) now features Pickleball lines!
