We strongly believe in the importance of early childhood development, which is why all toys in the daycare have an educational purpose, making learning a fun and exciting adventure. We believe the most important element of the infant/toddler environment is an available and responsive caregiver. Any person who has cared for toddlers knows they are a challenging age group and must have undivided attention, as well as interaction in small groups. We believe that adults set the overall tone in terms of the socio-emotional quality of the environment while furniture, toys and supplies determine the aesthetics of the physical environment. We are certified and licensed in both Infant/Adult CPR and Pediatric First Aid. At Sweet Home Childcare Center your child will experience learning and growth in a save, clean and nurturing environment.

Our son has been in Sweet Home Child Care for 1 year. He has been receiving exceptional care, he always felt at home! The daycare has a big play area both indoor and outdoor and they serve homemade meals. Our son had mild speech delay and Ms. Aman showed great support for our family throughout the process, with the help of speech therapy and Sweet Home Child Care our son went from 5 to 60 words in less than 2 months which is remarkable. I highly recommend Sweet Home Child Care!

My child has been in Sweet Home Childcare for two years. He is so happy there, they have such a big play area with an indoor and outdoor playground. It’s very nice and clean, the two caregivers are very lovely ladies. I really recommend them if you need a childcare.

My daughter has been enrolled in this daycare for two years now. She’s excited to go to daycare every morning! My mind is at ease when I’m at work because I know she is well taken care of. The owner is a wonderful caregiver. I recommend this daycare to all of my friends with children.

Love sweet home childcare! They welcome my child everyday with a smile and my child has a great happy time never wants to come home. My daughter knows she is loved there. My daughter is currently about 2.5 years old and is much more advanced she comes home singing full nursery rhymes, most of the alphabet and knows most of her numbers from 1-20. She has a very well run childcare that I feel meets all the needs of every child in her care.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I started my child there at 11 weeks old and I regret every second I kept her there. While they changed her and fed her I believe that is all they did for her. It was evident that they were doing nothing for her development like tummy time or anything. They advertised a special infant room but she was never kept there. She was with all the big kids, which is inappropriate for that age.
The woman who runs the place constantly criticized me as a mother and shamed me every chance she got. I constantly went home feeling horrible that I had my child there. Thankfully we were relocated for work to Maine so we had to leave. I gave her 4 weeks notice and she YELLED at me in front of all the kids and tried to negotiate to get us to stay there by offering a lower price. When we picked her up the last day she didn’t even give us all our stuff back that we left there for our child including ALL my breast milk. I had several packets there as back up for my child, and they claimed I never left any. I was heart broken because I worked so hard to build up a supply and she lost it. They also kept mixing up every child’s clothes and belongings. My child would frequently come home in other children’s clothes. The day we left they said they would mail us our deposit back. It has been over six weeks and when we called to remind her she said she wouldn’t because we didn’t give her 4 weeks notice, which we did.
Looking back, there was a red flag at the beginning. A day after we had met with her a second time and paid the deposit, she called us asking if we wanted to start child care there because she had an opening. I had to REMIND her we had just visited her and already paid a deposit. She can’t keep the kids or families straight. I will forever feel guilty for sending my child there and strongly urge no one else make the same mistake I did.

My 20 month old daughter loves Sweet Home Childcare. She’s been going since about 9 months after a failed KinderCare experience. The space is clean and very large so the children have lots of room to play. There is a separate room for cribs so smaller children who nap on their own schedule can get peaceful sleep. We particularly like the healthier and more diverse food served and the flexibility to bring our own food if desired. My daughter seems to learn something new every day and is even picking up a little Spanish.

Sweet home child care is an excellent home for my son. He’s been there for 2 years, at other daycares he was unhappy but now he loves to go there and he says he has a lot of fun.

25 Creepy Urban Legends You Can Believe Exist
Urban legends are everywhere. They are an integral part of any culture, be it Manhattan, Moscow or Tokyo. Modern ghosts, technology spirits, gremlins and other evil spirits, maniacs and all sorts of mysticism gave impetus to the creation of a whole string of films and series (for example, Supernatural). These myths are sometimes funny, sometimes scary, but always moral. They are passed down from generation to generation, acquiring new details and features. Urban legends reveal the hidden fears of society, mixing reality with imagination, which is what makes them so popular. Here are 25 of the most famous urban legends that are better not to read at night, as they can easily appear not only in your city, but also in your yard. Scary? Then we start!
Dog Boy
Betty still lives in the house
Arkansas, the town of Quitman. Gerald Bettis was born here in 1954. From childhood, he was a problem child: he collected dogs and cats around the district, and then mocked them in the basement of his parents’ house. All the neighbors knew about this hobby of young Gerald, but they could not do anything with him. His parents forbade him to torture animals, but the little sadist continued his torture. The cries of the tormented creatures regularly filled the neighborhood. Bettis grew up, but his character only got worse: he was known as a rude and evil person. Despite the fact that his parents loved him and brought him up in warmth and care, he did not repay them with the same coin. They say he locked his father and mother in the attic, where they died. Bettis was put in jail, and the house was put up for sale. Gerald died in prison. Residents of this house claimed that objects move by themselves, ghostly silhouettes and lights are visible in the windows. The Bettis house is considered cursed and many lovers of mysticism seek to get it.
Babysitter and man on the second floor
Beware of night calls coming from your house
A young married couple with small children lived in a big house. The house was on the edge. The husband and wife constantly called the girl to sit with the children while they were away on business in the city. Once, when night had already fallen on the street, the nanny put the children to bed and whiled away the time watching TV. Suddenly, the home phone rang. She was scared, but picked up the phone. An unfamiliar voice told her that its owner was near the children and asked her to come up to them. The nanny considered this message a prank and continued to watch TV shows. Then another bell rang and the demand was repeated more insistently. The girl got really scared and called the police. The stranger’s calls with the same phrase continued until the rescue operator advised the girl to leave the house. There she waited for the patrol car. In the house, the police found a mysterious man with a carving knife covered in the blood of murdered children.
Forest people
The Inuit believe in a mysterious tribe that kidnaps hunters
Centuries ago, the Inuit (or Eskimos) and the so-called “bush people” lived in peace and harmony in what is now Alaska. But the Inuit were more skilled fishermen, using nets and boats. The “bush people” were jealous and wanted to find out the secret of the Inuit. One day, a small Eskimo hunter killed the “bush man”, and all the other members of this mysterious tribe fled in fear. They were not heard from again, but from time to time, when any hunter from the Eskimo tribe disappears, the elders say that “people of the bush” took him away.
Monster from Crowsley
A monster sculpture outside a local bar
One day four teenagers decided to go camping. It took place near the town of Crowsley, Indiana. The guys pitched tents near the pond and went fishing. We returned to the camp in the evening and at that moment the surrounding space was filled with frightening noise and screams. Then they saw two red eyes staring at them from the darkness. The turned-on lanterns snatched out of the darkness a huge hairy creature, similar to Bigfoot: tall, straight back, a pile of muscles under a thick skin. The guys dropped their things and ran to the car in a panic. The creature pursued them all the way to the road, but when all four climbed into the car and turned on the headlights, no one was around.
“Are you glad you didn’t turn on the light?”
Don’t turn on the light if you’re not sure
A student stayed late at school and went to her dorm room for notes. There was no light in the room and the girl decided that her neighbor was sleeping. In the dark, the student found her notebooks and left, closing the door behind her. A few hours later, the girl returned and turned on the light. The whole room was covered in blood, and her roommate was dead. It was written on the mirror in lipstick: “Are you glad you didn’t turn on the light?”.
Exploding Nebraska hares
Hares can get revenge
