Happy Kamper Pictures is Chicago’s premiere production company. We have a wide range of services to offer, including animations, 3D renderings, virtual reality experiences, corporate and promotional videos, as well as narrative work. Our mission is to create the best content possible, while maximizing your budget.

Our team consists of a group of talented individuals who have won awards in both film and 3D animation. We bring a creative and unique eye to any project presented to us, and are excited to be jumping into the world of VR with our upcoming game Block Buster!

Our production team offers conventional production services for both narrative and promotional purposes, and consists of multiple FAA certified drone pilots who can achieve any aerial shot you need. Please refer to our video projects to catch a glimpse of our client work.

Happy Kamper Pictures VR team morphed out of our visualization studio. Which was primarily dedicated to 3D renderings. We’re proud of our work in that field, but believe Virtual Reality is truly the next step forward for both architects and entertainers.

With that in mind we’ve begun development on an exciting new VR game that marries our company’s appreciation for architecture and entertainment. Block Buster is a VR game that allows players to rampage through destructible cities wearing giant monster suits of their own design. Allowing gamers everywhere to Unleash Their Inner Monster!

We can’t wait to share the new game in 2021, and we’re even more excited to see where Virtual Reality will take our company in the future. And hopefully yours along with us!

Popular with foodies, Inverness has a variety of restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from, as well as a great live music scene… Discover the food scene. We recommend:

• Black Isle Bar – wood-fired pizza and organic beer, what more could you want!

Loch Ness

Immerse yourself in Scotland’s most famous legend! Cruise Loch Ness with the comfort of Jacobite Cruises or take the short drive to Dores Beach. You might just notice Nessie!

Satisfy your need for speed with Jacobite Cruises RIB Speedboat (1 hour), enjoy a gentle canal and lake cruise (2 hours) or meet the real stars of the lake with Jacobite Cruises 3 or 4 hour boat ride – discover castles, monuments, lighthouses and breathtaking landscapes.

Dores is a 15 minute drive from Inverness – Dores Beach is at the northern end of Loch Ness. The pebbly beach offers one of the most iconic views of Loch Ness. Meet the man listed in the Guinness Book of Records for hunting Nessie. Steve lives in a small trailer on the beach. He is considered the master of everything related to Nessie!

Dolphins

The sea around Black Isle is world famous for its dolphin watching! Cruise the waters with EcoVentures or visit Chanonry Point in Fortrose.

EcoVentures’ exhilarating 2-hour boat trip available from 2 years old and showcases the best of what the Moray Firth has to offer – scenery, history and, if you’re lucky, bottlenose dolphins! By nature, dolphins are quite inquisitive, noisy animals, and therefore they often come to the boat to get a closer look!

There are two great places to watch dolphins: the waterfront in the village of North Kessock, directly across from Inverness – dolphins can be seen at high tide right in front of the gift shop and art studio, or alternatively Chanonry. Dot.

On to Black Isle, pass through the village of Avoch and then Fortrose. Fortrose has a one-mile long peninsula jutting out into the sea – Chanonry Point is located opposite the old lighthouse, from the beach. You can often see local dolphins hunting salmon a few meters away from us in the fast, deep and rough water around the tip of the Point at high tide or high tide – it’s amazing. The Chanonry Point car park can get quite crowded, so if you feel like taking a leisurely stroll along the beach from Rosemarkie (neighboring village) or if you’ve camped at Fortrose Bay Campground, you might want to take a walk.

Evening Camping & Dinner

Spend your first night either in Inverness or on the outskirts of town. The campsites we offer are suitable for tents, caravans, caravans and motorhomes, and some are even suitable for glamping or renting stationary caravans for a week.

Outskirts of town

• Evanton’s Black Rock Caravan Park offers a full range of services, as well as the option to rent one of the luxury glamping pods if you want to make your trip easier. Take advantage of their discount for our NC500 members and discounted food at Novar Arms Hotel, just 2 minutes walk from the campsite.
• Fortrose Bay Campground – Located on a pebbly beach with breathtaking views of the Moray Firth. Black Isle benefits from its own micro-climate and is therefore virtually free of midges, making it a great camping spot.
• Barns Highland – If you’re coming from the East Coast to start your NC500 adventure, Barns Highland is close to Nairn. Their tourist campsites and glamping pods are scattered across this beautiful and secluded landscape surrounded by natural and arable land.

Dinner

There are plenty of eateries to choose from in Inverness and the Black Isle. If you’re staying on Black Island, check out Sutor Creek, the North Kessock Hotel, or check out the Novar Arms Hotel in Evanton (if you’re staying at the Black Rock Campsite, you get a discount on the restaurant bill).
