  As you know, all nurseries in Israel came under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, they must pass inspections and obtain a license that guarantees parents that:

  • children are handled by suitable staff who have received all the necessary training and have all the necessary skills;

  • the room complies with safety requirements;

  • healthy and balanced nutrition for children;

  • all hygiene standards are met;

  • the atmosphere in the nursery is friendly, there is positive communication between children and caregivers. nine0003

  In the nursery, we initially adhered to the same rules as in our kindergartens, which have long been under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, the transition under the jurisdiction of the new ministry took place quickly and successfully.

  Repatriation Week

  During the Repatriation Week, a guest appeared in our fairy tale garden in Kiryat Ata and became a new pupil of the garden – this is a large wooden nesting doll. Those who did not know her secret discovered with great interest that four more cute dolls were hiding inside her. The children sang a birthday song to the matryoshka in Hebrew, and then we voiced the same song in Russian. Pupils cut out and painted robes for the “new girlfriend”. nine0003

  Medical assistance is guaranteed

  In our kindergarten IGUM “Skazka” in Kiryat Ata, a first aid course for staff was held. The classes included general theoretical lectures, watching videos with illustrative material and practical exercises with modeling various critical situations from real life. During the classes, in particular, ways to stop bleeding, first actions in case of loss of consciousness, heat stroke, convulsions, removal of swallowed foreign bodies, help even before the arrival of the ambulance in case of respiratory arrest, burns, dislocations, fractures and other injuries were considered. nine0003

  God forbid that all this is not needed, but if a child needs medical assistance, then the teachers of the kindergarten “Skazka”, having gained knowledge and experience in the courses held, will surely be able to provide it.   How we celebrated Purim

  Family day traditions Purim.

  Don’t be afraid, the Purim holiday in the kindergarten was held separately, but we combined Mother’s Day on March 8 with Family Day. In our kindergarten, this has already become a tradition. In past years, this holiday was very loved by both parents and children. It should be mentioned here that in our kindergarten there are many Hebrew-speaking children who do not speak Russian, but it is on March 8 that they dance like nesting dolls and sing touching songs in Russian about their mother. Moms are touched to tears. The first part of the holiday is congratulations to mothers, and then we all switch to Hebrew and celebrate family day. This year this event took place:
