After weeks of research, I’ve finally narrowed it down to seven of the top daycares in Houston. My criteria for selecting these options included quality care, cleanliness of the facility and reviews from parents who have experience with each daycare center.

Since this is such an important decision for any parent to make, I’m writing this article to provide parents with insight into each of these daycares and discuss which one might be the best fit for their child. With that being said, let’s get started!

I have plenty of experience with daycares and knew from the outset that Crème de la Crème provided an incredibly consistent level of quality. From the facilities to the staff, everyone was incredibly kind and always willing to go the extra mile for their students.

The classrooms were well-designed and had plenty of activities for students to enjoy, with the building being kept clean at all times. I especially appreciated how safe the facility was, enabling me to entrust my children in their hands without any hesitation.

Even more impressive was their teaching style; based on research from leading experts, they built a curriculum that focused on individual attention and gave everyone an opportunity to learn at their own pace. The teachers also connected with each student in a way I hadn’t seen before.

Overall, Crème de la Crème is one of the best daycares in Houston without a doubt! Every aspect – from safety, cleanliness, and teaching style – was top-notch, making my experience there a positive one. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They make sure that all of the children are safe and taken care of with plenty of individualized care. The facility itself is state-of-the-art, providing a safe and clean environment for the kids to learn and grow.

I was particularly impressed with the educational resources provided by Museum District Child Care Center; they focus on developing skills in language, literacy, math, science, art, music, and more. This means that children not only get a great education but also gain plenty of new experiences too!

What really impressed me about this daycare center was their unique approach to learning; rather than a one-size fits all classroom approach, they provide activities tailored to the individual needs of each child. I think this allows them to better stimulate the children’s minds while also allowing them to have fun!

Overall I would highly recommend Museum District Child Care Center as one of the best daycares in Houston; it provides excellent education resources along with an individualized approach that allows each child to thrive!

Miss Pattycake provides a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children. With home-style childcare in their own building, the staff is warm and friendly. They are also dedicated to providing quality education through play and meaningful activities.

The staff at Miss Pattycake are highly trained in child development with many years of experience in the field. Their teachers provide a comprehensive curriculum that encourages exploration, creativity, and growth in each individual student. The classrooms are bright and inviting with materials both stimulating and developmentally appropriate.

I was truly impressed by Miss Pattycake’s commitment to high standards of excellence for their students: they have a strong focus on social-emotional learning, which includes teaching appropriate behavior skills as well as conflict resolution techniques. This helps ensure that students develop well-rounded personalities that will serve them throughout life.

Overall, I found Miss Pattycake Childcare to be one of the best daycares in Houston! The staff is experienced and committed to helping every student excel while providing an encouraging environment filled with positive experiences their own individual needs. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been attending Principrin School since she was 4 and I have seen her come a long way. The staff are so kind and generous, always going out of their way to make sure every child is safe and happy. They create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel like they can learn without fear.

The curriculum at Principrin is top-notch. Children are educated in all the basics, but also receive specialized instruction in art, music, foreign languages, technology and sports – all depending on their individual interests!

The facility itself is state-of-the-art with plenty of room for activities, both indoors and out. It’s bright and cheerful with modern amenities throughout.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Principrin School to anyone looking for the best daycares in Houston!

At Cradles 2 Crayons Early Learning Academy, I was particularly impressed with the level of care and attention given to the children. All staff members were highly professional and dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for each individual child’s growth. The teachers paid close attention to the different needs of each student while giving them ample opportunity to explore their imaginations in fun activities.

The classrooms were also very clean and organized which allowed for a nice flow between activities. There is plenty of space for both group playtime and individual learning opportunities. I felt confident that each child was getting an appropriate amount of attention from the staff while they are learning and developing their skills.

The facilities at Cradles 2 Crayons Early Learning Academy are top notch, with plenty of well-maintained playgrounds, outdoor leisure areas, and colorful classrooms that kept my little ones engaged throughout the day.

My overall experience at Cradles 2 Crayons Early Learning Academy has been outstanding, so much so that it is now one of my favorite daycares in Houston!

Having been familiar with the Learning Experience for years, I can attest to their professionalism and care. The teachers are highly qualified and passionate about providing an environment where children can grow and develop.
The curriculum is engaging and fun, with a focus on both academics and physical activity. They have interactive activities designed to encourage critical thinking and creative problem solving. I have seen first-hand how this approach leads to children thriving in all aspects of their lives!

There’s plenty of space in both the indoor and outdoor settings which provide ample opportunities for social interaction amongst all age groups. The small class sizes ensure that each child receives individual attention while also allowing them enough time to explore the space around them.

The staff at The Learning Experience – West University are warm, caring, and nurturing individuals who genuinely care about the well being of each child. They always take extra measures to ensure that the environment is safe, clean, and orderly so the children feel comfortable learning in their own unique ways.

Cons: This is a more relaxed childcare center, so if you are looking for more structure, it may be best to shop around.

Pros: Glowing feedback from parents include an extremely caring staff, individualized curriculum, and organized learning. Open since 1972, the Esperanza School’s 3-acre facility offers large and colorful rooms and a garden. The school also offers a ton of activities and additional learning opportunities.

Cons: It seems as though the waitlist can be quite long at Esperanza School, so if you are at all interested, you should schedule a tour as soon as possible.

Pros: The Kenworthy School utilizes a curriculum that supports children developing healthy social and emotional skills. Highlighting availability and accessibility, the Kenworthy School even offers parents’ night out evenings where children are supervised in a safe environment during evening hours. Another big bonus is that this school offers parents an online portal for further communication.

Cons: Spots are limited here so scheduling a tour and making an immediate payment is critical to securing one.

Pros: Happy Times Academy has undergone a remodel recently and has a staff that parents feel are caring and attentive. The facility is clean and organized, and parents can receive monthly updates in the form of a newsletter through email. 

Cons: There is not much information located on their website and management has appeared to change at least once within the past year.

The Goddard School

Pros: Operated by a former teacher, the Goddard School offers educational opportunities for children spanning a wide range of ages, infant up to school-age. The Goddard School believes in play-based learning to help kids have fun while they develop important skills. The Goddard School introduces science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) learning paired with literacy teachings to allow children to become familiar early on with these subjects.

Cons: The waitlist at The Goddard School can be lengthy.

Cons: This location is slightly outside of the Heights area, but not by much. Some complaints made through reviews are concerns regarding staff turnover rate.

There are numerous opportunities to take a tour of the facility before making a decision.

Cons: There is a non-refundable fee and waitlist times may vary.
