How educational institutions in TiNAO have changed over 10 years – Moscow 24, 07/01/2022

Exactly 10 years ago, the capital included territories in the south-west of the Moscow region, which formed the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts (TiNAO). During this time, not only new educational institutions were built there, but also old ones were reconstructed. For more information about schools and kindergartens of the TiNAO, see the material from Moscow 24.

Today, activities in the field of pre-school and general education in the TiNAO are carried out by 34 organizations, where more than 100 thousand people study (in recent years, this number has increased by 2. 7 times).

Schools of the TiNAO participate in popular city educational projects, for example, an engineering class – 4 schools, a medical class – 4, a cadet class – 14, an IT class – 3, a pedagogical class – 1, a media class – 3 , entrepreneurial – 1. In addition, the Moscow Electronic School project is being successfully implemented on the territory of the new districts, and teachers are developers of electronic educational material in the MES library. In total, they have published more than 9thousand materials.

More than 8 thousand circles and sections have been opened on the basis of schools in the new districts – more than 93% of students are involved in additional education.

In Troitsk, there is a children’s IT-technopark “Baitik”, where more than three thousand children received skills in the fields of information technology, 3D visualization, robotics and more.

On the whole, new educational institutions, unique in their own way, are commissioned every year in the districts. For example, in 2017, a new building of school No. 2070 was opened in Kommunarka. It has become one of the largest in the capital – the building is designed for 1,775 children. The three-storey school is spread over an area of almost 25,000 square meters.

Each age has its own space. In a separate block – primary classes. For them, they made places for recreation, game rooms and multifunctional premises. For secondary school students, recreation areas, public spaces, media libraries and pre-profile educational laboratories and more have also been created. There are 79 classrooms in the building.

In September, the school will include a new building designed for 1.3 thousand students. The peculiarity of the project is in an attempt to preserve the landscape of the area as much as possible, to create a unique ecosystem: the building will be surrounded by 16 oak trees over 120 years old. Trees even influenced the architectural appearance: the front wall of the school goes around one of the trees. The construction work, which began in the fall of 2020, is now at the final stage.

In September 2021, students were admitted to a new school for 1,300 children in the residential complex “Spanish Quarters” (Sosenskoye settlement). The three-story building is made up of three wing blocks. In the right – junior classes, in the left – the rest of the students. In the central block there is an amphitheater, an information center with a library and a video library, as well as a round transformer assembly hall.

Another significant object is school No. 338 in Kommunarka. It was opened in 2021 before Knowledge Day. The building is designed for 1,100 students. It was divided into four blocks. The first is for middle and high school students. In addition to universal classes, there are rooms for painting, chess, Lego construction, music and singing, housekeeping and drawing. There is also an information technology class and rooms for technical creativity, robotics and technical drawing.

In the second block there is a dining room, an information technology auditorium, an assembly hall with stands, a media library and a book depository. The third is for elementary school students. During the break, they can relax in recreations specially created for this. The fourth block is focused on sports. For this, there are main and small halls, halls of choreography and alternative physical education.

Sports can also be played in the school yard. For this, basketball and volleyball courts, two gymnastic zones, a football field, a running track, an obstacle course and a platform for jumping and throwing the ball were built. There are also pergola-covered benches in the school yard where you can chat with friends and get ready for classes.
