School Notes

We accept children 18 months old through the first grade
level. We have toddler classes, transition classes, Pre
K 1 and Pre K 2 classes, Kindergarten and First Grade
classes. We are a year round school. We also provide
extended care for parents that work and need additional day
care time for their children while they work. Children
receive breakfast if they are in the facility by 7:30 a.m. A snack
in the morning and another snack in the afternoon is
provided. Lunch is cooked daily in the facility for the
children.

It is children who make us, adults, work on ourselves, strive for new horizons and always look at the world with a smile.

Why did I choose the profession of a teacher and work with children?
As a child I was intrigued with “understand”, I wanted to know how things worked and why. As I grew olde, I felt I could teach things to the younger generations why and how. I love to see how a child’s imagination works as mine did then. And also how to engage with individuals at an individual level to encourage these interests and broaden their understanding and knowledge base.

Why do I work at Discovery?
I really appreciate that while following the program and schedule, I am also able to include things and aspects from a native that is not included. Games, interests from kids, different activities.
