Russians risk being left without new computers. The largest IT companies and equipment manufacturers announced their withdrawal from the country: Intel, Microsoft, Dell, Apple, Lenovo, HP and others. In retail stores, their products for the general public can still be found, but orders for professional equipment for Russian programmers are no longer available.
In addition, software and application developers have imposed sanctions. Because of this, in Russia, for example, many paid features (including a subscription to Adobe Photoshop) or Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana fonts were not available. Experts believe that it will be extremely difficult to find a replacement for foreign manufacturers. While waiting for the supply situation to clear up, many Russian IT companies revised the rules and stopped decommissioning equipment.
