It brings me so much joy to watch a preschooler become an independent and self-sufficient kid.
— Jennifer O’Rourke
Being a part of a child’s spiritual and educational growth is something that I consider to be a great privilege and responsibility! It brings me so much joy to watch a preschooler become an independent and self-sufficient kid.
I am a Mobile native and received my accounting degree from the University of South Alabama. I worked for 10 years in various accounting jobs with a focus in administration, bookkeeping, and budgeting. After staying home with my son Jackson for 4 years, I started teaching at a local mom’s day out program.
Since then, I have fallen in love with preschool ministry. Celebrating the small daily successes to the major milestones and everything in between is the most fun! I am honored you trust us and look forward to making this an amazing experience for your child.
Our preschool is 5 days/week with an 8. 30a dropoff and 1p pickup. It will operate from August through May on the Mobile County Public School calendar (including holidays and breaks).
Extended day hours are available from 7.30a–4p for an additional $300/month.
Drop-in extended day rates are $5/day in the morning, $15/day in the afternoon.
We will offer a similar program in the Summer 2024 for kids enrolled in the ELC. This will not be required to hold your spot for the next Fall, but will be available if needed.

Parents will have access to Procare, an all-in-one mobile app where you can manage tuition payments, check-in/check-out your child, communicate with teachers, allow family members to see your child’s progress and more!
Parents are expected to supply their child with lunch and snack for the day. *Please note this is a peanut-free facility.
In order to accommodate children with various allergies, Dayspring’s Early Learning Center is peanut-free.
