China executes kindergarten teacher for poisoning children – July 14, 2023

Wang Yun was a teacher at Mengmeng Kindergarten. Due to a conflict with one of the teachers (his last name is Sun) of the middle group, the woman decided to take revenge on him. She added sodium nitrite to the porridge of the children in the man’s group. As a result, 25 pupils ended up in the hospital with severe poisoning, one of the kids died.
It turned out that adding sodium nitrite is Wang Yun’s favorite means of punishment. In 2017, she quarreled with her husband, after which she decided to order the substance via the Internet in order to pour her husband into a glass of water. The man was poisoned, but survived.
The court ruled that the defendant knew about the dangers of sodium nitrite, but decided to use it twice to resolve personal problems. She was not stopped by the fact that the poisoned porridge would go to the children for lunch.
Previously, a Russian woman was found guilty of killing her disabled daughter and three young grandchildren of three, five and seven years old.
According to investigators, the woman fed her daughter and grandchildren with poisoned food. All four died a few days later in the hospital.
