AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
West Allis KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
Our Teachers
We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

-behavioral therapy (CBT) sets out in them their views on the nature of human problems and ways to solve them. Readers of this book are truly lucky to be able to experience these important ideas directly from their creator, rather than retelling them. nine0003
The value of Ellis’s publications is also in the preservation of traditions and the continuity of generations, in the opportunity to take the best from famous masters of their craft. Unfortunately, Albert Ellis, who passed away in 2007, is no longer with us. Even more unfortunately, many experts forget his rich and important heritage. There are also critical voices against him, including accusations of a rigid approach and in relations with clients and colleagues. Unfortunately for me, already personal, I did not manage to catch Ellis alive and talk to him in person, although I was lucky to study at the institute he created in New York with his colleagues and students after his death. But still, I was very lucky to be able to correspond with him in the process of writing my dissertation at the end of 90’s, dedicated to cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy of anxiety disorders. It was an unforgettable conversation. Therefore, from my own experience I can form an impression of him and say that he was a very responsive and wonderful person. He helped to understand so many things in just a few lines of his answers.
Interestingly, thanks to the efforts of the famous St. Petersburg psychotherapist KV Pavlov, Ellis even became an honorary member of the St. Petersburg Student Psychological Society, having given his official consent to this. And in many ways this is symbolic, since Ellis’s parents (like A. Beck) emigrated from Russia at the beginning of the twentieth century. At 19In 82, he was recognized as the second most influential psychotherapist in the world after Carl Rogers (the third was named Sigmund Freud), and in 1993 – the first (Ellis, Rogers, Beck). Albert Ellis and Robert Harper in this book were able to present the conceptual ideas of psychotherapy and its cognitive-behavioral direction in a bright, visual, intelligible way and with branded humor, which distinguished Albert Ellis from many other specialists all his life and became his kind of calling card. Visually presenting the model of the emergence of emotional disorders under the abbreviation ABC, the authors give many living examples filled with humor and a positive attitude to life’s ups and downs. nine0003
As the main causes of people’s psycho-emotional problems and their mental disorders, REBT considers erroneous, irrational cognitive attitudes (false beliefs, erroneous beliefs, ideas, assumptions, and similar “irrational beliefs”). Ten false beliefs and a dozen irrational attitudes, such as should, sweeping evaluativeness and catastrophization, frustration intolerance, future prediction and mind reading, perfectionism and procrastination – how much you have to learn details about yourself, your habits of thinking and behaving and, of course, to overcome with the help of Ellis technology these burdens, which are not obligatory for preservation and do not allow to live a full life. This book will not only reveal to you the main ideas of one of the most effective areas of psychotherapy, will allow you to understand yourself much deeper, see the patterns in your behavior and life, closely related to the specifics of our thinking, but will also allow you to change as much as you really are, not in words. , but really, you want and are ready to make every effort and the resources you have for this. Ellis showed this amazing ability and human ability throughout his active and creative life. Until his last day, already being sick at 93 years, Ellis continued to communicate and help his patients, colleagues and students. His revolutionary ideas, preserved in articles and books, continue to enrich the experience of many professionals and people passionate about their development. This book can be a great guide to making meaningful changes in yourself, your relationships, and your life. Fascinating and useful reading for you, persistent application of the acquired knowledge and the formation of skills for living a quality life!

Albert Ellis Independence Rules. Foreword E. Romek
Independence A. Ellis (1913–2007) learned early: he felt “abandoned” at the age of two, when his brother Paul was born, and at the age of four, Albert began going to kindergarten: twice a day he independently covered a rather long distance – a whole block – to the kindergarten and back, since his mother, busy caring for her youngest son, had neither the time nor the strength to accompany him. At 19In 18, the Ellis family moved from Pittsburgh to New York and settled in the West Bronx, where Albert made a discovery that not only helped him cope with many life difficulties, but also became the cornerstone of the rational-emotional behavioral system he created half a century later. therapy. Back in Pittsburgh, he was looking forward to when he was five years old to go to school, but it turned out that in New York, they begin to study at the age of six. At first, Albert was terribly upset, and then, having calmed down a bit, he began to think about how different people feel about what they don’t like.
