Planting Seeds for a Better Tomorrow
The Little Montessori School was founded on the belief that within each child are unique qualities essential to the future of their generation. Rather than trainingchildren to fit a mold that meets our expectations, we believe it is our purpose to nurture their individuality, providing the tools they need to succeed, and acting as guides honored to accompany them on their individual journeys.
Each classroom community offers a wealth of materials for children to grow academically, at an individual pace. We also believe that the future needs far more than well-educated leaders: it needs leaders who are resilient, confident, independent, self-motivated, and respectful of themselves, others, and the Earth.

“I have never placed my son in daycare before since I am a stay at home mom and work from home. He is 2 yrs old and needed to be around other kids. Let me tell you that today is my sons second day and doing so much better than he did his first day. I love the live stream where I can watch him as I’m working. The staff at this location are INCREDIBLE all the way to the administration.”

-L. Valez

“Words will not do the justice for this facility. My children LOVED school/daycare. We recently moved and it was devastating. Terri is amazing and any issues I EVER had through our 2 years at this facility, she handled or found a way to address/ correct the concerns. I can not praise the 3yr old teacher Sheila Hill and Theresa enough. My daughter was truly loved and taken care of daily by these awesome women. I could go on and on about the positive things I feel for this facility but it would be to long. Great atmosphere, loving people and all around amazing facility.”

Faces of history | MBDOU d / s “Harmony”, official site

The composition of the association “Harmony” includes kindergartens with a long history, which means that the kaleidoscope of people who have devoted themselves to preschool education is very extensive and bright.

On this page we present photos and stories of people who have made an invaluable contribution to the development and education of preschoolers over many decades.

Fedosiya Efimovna Kravchenko

Fedosiya Efimovna Kravchenko – a resident of the village of Uralets, a kindergarten teacher, mother, grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. And although it is not customary for women to talk about age, this date simply cannot be ignored. May 25, 2019Fedosiya Efimovna turned 96 years old. Fedosia Efimovna devoted the whole 49 years to working with children. In the difficult, hungry military year of 1942, she finished 10 classes, and in 1944 she came to work as a teacher in a kindergarten. Since then, it has become her second home, and her permanent place of work until her retirement. With her care, love, selflessness, Fedosiya Efimovna won the hearts of little children. From 1968 to 1971 Kravchenko Fedosiya Efimovna was the first manager who opened kindergarten No. 4 in the village of Uralets. The team consisted of 44 employees. Fedosiya Yefimovna herself ordered furniture and toys for the children to Moscow, and then went after them, she herself was engaged in equipping the kindergarten. From 19At the age of 71, Fedosiya Efimovna again began to work as an educator. All these years she was engaged in educating preschool children – she prepared them for school, taught letters and counting, talked about what is good and what is bad. A beautiful soul, a person who unrequitedly loves children, she has been repeatedly awarded thanks and diplomas. For many years after the end of her teaching career, Fedosiya Efimovna did not leave her native team. You never cease to admire her cheerfulness, optimism, hard work to this day. We sincerely wish Fedosiya Efimovna to always remain as energetic and healthy as ever.

Dina Ivanovna Khutko

Khutko Dina Ivanovna worked in Kindergarten No. 101 from the day it was opened in 1965 until 2004 – almost 40 years. After graduating from the Perm Pedagogical School with honors, as a very young girl she came to work in kindergarten No. 101. Together with others, just as young and full of desire to work, she was preparing for the opening of a kindergarten – they arranged furniture, picked up methodological literature, set up flower beds. Dina Ivanovna throughout her long life carried love for children, interest in new knowledge, kindness and disinterestedness. Living in the city center Dina Ivanovna, she repeatedly received invitations to work “closer” to home, but remained faithful to the kindergarten in Sukholozhsky village. Having gained experience and knowledge herself, Khutko became a mentor for young teachers. She helped and taught the subtleties and wisdom of pedagogical skills. Children, graduates of Dina Ivanovna, did not forget about her after kindergarten and always visited their beloved teacher with pleasure. Having retired, Dina Ivanovna could not live long without work and again returned to her native walls of the kindergarten with new creative ideas, with love for children, ready to help everyone. This year, in September, Dina Ivanovna turns exactly 80 years old, of which she devoted half to her beloved work and raising children. Here she is – Khutko Dina Ivanovna – Educator “with a capital letter”. We wish her good health and many more years of life.

Galina Petrovna Trapeznikova

For 45 years now, Galina Petrovna has been engaged in preventive, medical and health-improving work with children, ensuring the protection and strengthening of their health. In 1975, Trapeznikova Galina Petrovna began her career in kindergarten No. 4 in the village of Uralets as a kindergarten teacher. Galina Petrovna mastered many professions during her work: an educator, a nurse and a manager. Now Galina Petrovna works as a nurse in the children’s office of the Ural district hospital and at the same time as a nurse in a kindergarten. She has at her disposal a medical block, which consists of a reception room for children and an isolation ward. Galina Petrovna begins her morning by going around groups or filtering children in another way. And the love of children can be seen already at the entrance to the group. The children surround Galina Petrovna. “Have you brought the vitamins?” the guys say at the interruption, hugging Galina Petrovna. Galina Petrovna also meets with parents who tell her about the condition of their child. In turn, she informs parents about vaccinations, gives recommendations. Then her route follows to the kitchen. It is necessary to take a sample of food, write everything down in a marriage journal. Galina Petrovna pays special attention to the effectiveness of the measures used to protect physical health and prevent fatigue in children. She works in close contact with educators, with whom she correctly builds the activities of children during the day. Always and in everything, Galina Petrovna is distinguished by punctuality, endurance, feminine charm. In everything she finds a businesslike and competent approach. Babies were and remain the meaning of her life, and may it always be so. We believe that people like Galina Petrovna, radiating kindness and love, make our life more interesting and brighter.

Nina Ivanovna Davidenko

B
In Dahl’s dictionary, the word “manage” is signed as follows. “Manage,
that is, manage, keep in his department, akin to the word lead – indicate
way, or to lead, being the boss. Manage – rule by giving
move, direction, dispose, be the owner, manager “… From a large
the number of words that define fashionable
now the word “image”, in relation to the head of the kindergarten, you can safely choose –
“Be the hostess”! February 1984 years old, when he opened his
doors of the largest nursery-kindergarten No. 85
“Rosinka”, such a hostess appeared here too! Opened a kindergarten
supervised the construction at its last stages – the first manager Davidenko Nina
Ivanovna, who has worked in this educational institution for more than 25 years, until
April 2010. From the head at all times required business
initiative, work activity and all kinds of competencies:
professional, communicative, informational, legal; as well as aesthetics
taste, the ability to capture fashion trends, to remain a fashionable and creative woman. “The head of the kindergarten should be
serious, but by no means boring. A smile, a joke, humor can often
bring incomparably greater fruits than the most serious remark, the most
thoughtful saying.” These words are fully related to good,
to a sensitive and wise teacher who truly loves his profession – Davidenko
Nina Ivanovna. With this leader in the history and activities of kindergarten No. 85
connected with the emergence of real traditions and significant events: in 90 years, when
there were few children in the kindergarten,
a unique winter garden was laid out on the territory of the institution; sports and
gym, design room; created a unique mini-museum,
the exhibits of which were carefully collected by Nina Ivanovna herself, teachers and
parents. The highlight of the preschool institution was the multi-age family
a group attended by pupils from large families. Decent and weighty
looked like a kindergarten at the city level: under the guidance of Nina Ivanovna
an educational institution annually became a participant in the review competition,
dedicated to the City Day; festival
amateur creativity of educators “Frontiers of Talent” and other traditional
for the event city education system. Probably Nina’s
Ivanovna had many problems, not all
of them, she dedicated teachers, but the team knew for sure that their working day
she will always start with a round, and children and adults will hear her calm,
benevolent, firm: “Good morning!” Many years have passed, but today,
when you come to a kindergarten, first of all you pay attention to the head of the kindergarten
garden. What does the manager say, that she notices how they feel in her
the presence of employees – all this says – there is a real mistress in this house
or it doesn’t exist.

We
We sincerely thank Davidenko Nina Ivanovna for creating an amazing atmosphere
goodness and harmony, creativity and mutual understanding, which has been reigning in our preschool for many years!

“Golden ten” from kindergarten No. 85

Children
the garden is a world full of colors and vivid impressions. It always smells delicious here
On the threshold of the children are met by kind and smiling teachers. Every worker
kindergarten – artist, artist, jack of all trades. But their main talent is
love children! And it is impossible in another way, since it is love and patience that
the main assistants in the upbringing of children. More K.D. Ushinskiy said: “If you choose your labor well and invest
into him with all his soul, then happiness itself will find you ”
. In kindergarten No. 85
happiness has undoubtedly found at least ten of the oldest and most talented
teachers! The profession of an educator is at all times one of the most necessary and
in demand. This is the person who teaches children the first ideas about
life, step by step leads them to the school desk.

Almost
forty years in the teaching field is one of the most important achievements in life.
meaningful! And it belongs to the respected Motovilova Antonina Leonidovna! FROM
very early in the morning to Antonina Leonidovna with their joys and troubles fled
its students are of all ages. Someone fell and got scratched, someone
watched a scary cartoon or went to visit, someone bought a new toy …
It was to her, their second mother, that the children trusted the most, most secret desires and
secrets. And Antonina Leonidovna did not let down or disappoint any of them! BUT
only generously gave all these years the warm sparks of her soul! And not only for children and
parents, but also novice teachers who have just entered this
noble profession.

C
1984, immediately after the opening of kindergarten No. 85, his working biography
the teacher Roshchina Marina Vitalievna began. Having worked 8 years with children 2-3 years old
in 1992 she successfully entered the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical School,
after graduating from which she moved to work with children of senior preschool age.
Marina Vitalievna is constantly in a creative search. Tryna hold
every meeting with children is interesting and unusual, seeks to arouse desire
draw, explore, create… Marina Vitalievna knows exactly how to help
a little baby to show their talents and become a person worthy in the future
citizen of their homeland.

Worked for almost thirty years
teacher in kindergarten No. 85 Gergenheim Lyudmila Vasilievna, on the “account”
which has 7 wonderful releases. And each of them Lyudmila Vasilievna remembers and
to this day. “I am a happy person, I am allowed by fate to be side by side with
our future, with our children!” – this is what this wonderful person says about himself
teacher, who even today did not say goodbye to kindergarten No. 85, only by virtue of
objective reasons by changing the profile of activity.

B
In 1986, Chistyakova Svetlana Pavlovna came to work in kindergarten No. 85 as a nanny.
Possessing obvious professional potential, Svetlana Pavlovna already through
for five years she was transferred as an early childhood teacher. At 1997
successfully graduated from the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical College No. 1 with a degree
“Preschool Educator” Results of professional activity
for all the years of work they allow with full right to call Svetlana Pavlovna a teacher
capitalized. She always knows what to offer the baby, what to do with him,
so that there was no time to be capricious, naughty and quarrel, how to become each of your own
pupils just a good person!

Kindergarten No. 85 has been proud of its graduates for decades! Educators Irina Alexandrovna Nemytova and Tatyana Yuryevna Diyanova contribute daily and hourly to their unique “cultivation”. Talented children can only be obtained from the most talented teachers! The results of the professional activities of our colleagues have been repeatedly presented at the city level.

So, in October 2011 Tatyana Yuryevna Diyanova won a bright victory in the competition of educators “Being a vocation teacher!”, which was held for the first time in the city on the initiative of the city committee of the trade union of education and science workers. Groups of Irina Alexandrovna Nemytova have repeatedly and always successfully become participants in the annual competition dedicated to the City Day. Pedagogical tact, knowledge of child psychology, responsiveness, kindness and love for children – the necessary qualities for a preschool teacher – are fully manifested in our experienced comrades!

On
for many years in kindergarten No. 85 a wise and benevolent mentor
young teachers is the teacher Shcherbina Olga Grigoryevna. Working with
pupils pay special attention to the patriotic education of future
citizens of our country. Olga Grigoryevna annually attracts to the number of allies and
like-minded kindergarten various social partners. erudition and
level of skill, the desire to master non-traditional methods, to try
innovative approaches – these are the qualities that make up the pedagogical

Wolskaya Street: Semashko, bus station, Prestige Lyceum and boarding school | Another city

Volskaya street is valuable because it is a twice-deserved Bezymyanka street. The main secret district of Samara. Therefore, it is a sacred thing to radically update the modest-sized article dedicated to her in 2018!

To receive from us the title of twice-deserved Bezymyanka Street, two conditions must be met. The first is to pass only through the territory of this region. The second requirement is more complex. Bezymyanka as an unspoken district of the city (vernacular) is located on the territory of three administrative districts – Kirovsky, Industrial and Soviet. But only a few streets of Bezymyanka pass through all three. Volskaya Street is just one of those.

And since we are talking about Bezymyanka in general, it would not be superfluous to add a map to the article. We compiled it in December 2020, and in October 2022 we slightly corrected and supplemented it. The map shows Bezymyanka itself and related areas.

Selecting the area of interest to you and clicking on its name, you will be redirected to an article from the local history collection of the DG, which most fully covers its history and sights.

Well, now let’s move exclusively to Volskaya Street, the history of which we have divided into several time periods.

Pre-war times

The oldest houses on Volskaya street are concentrated in the private sector between Voronezhskaya and Krasnodonskaya streets, which began to be built up at 1938-39 years. This village even had its own name – the name of Pyatiletka.

The above picture shows a veterinary clinic with the address Volskaya, 108. Surprisingly, in the newspaper “Worker” of the Kuibyshev Metallurgical Plant dated October 13, 1965, there was a large article mentioning this building. The events described in it would well form the basis of the scenario of some Soviet melodrama.

In 1979 plans were made to demolish this private sector. The Kuibyshev Aviation Plant (hereinafter – KuAZ) volunteered to build a modern microdistrict in its place. But at 19In the 80s, KuAZ began building up the 16th microdistrict, and, apparently, even this enterprise did not pull one more construction site.

Also in the pre-war period, in 1939, two-story houses were built between Yuri Pavlov lane and Voronezhskaya street.

That, in fact, is all that they managed to build on Volskaya before the war. By the way, then the street was a kilometer longer than it is now. According to the master plan of the city “Big Kuibyshev” by architect Abram Kanevsky, Volskaya was supposed to cross 22 Party Congress Street and reach the intersection of Dybenko and the Soviet Army.

Now only the numbering of houses, which starts with numbers 9 and 44, reminds of this. Pay attention to how wide the roadway that never took place was designed here.

The missing houses along Volskaya Street can be found in the lists of electoral districts of 1965.

Volskaya street during the Great Patriotic War

In 1941 construction activity on Volskaya street was concentrated in the block between Kirov and Krasnodonskaya avenues. In addition to four residential buildings, kindergarten No. 3 was built here, now occupied by the Social Security Administration of the Industrial District.

But the main construction site of the war years on Volskaya Street was the Central Hospital of the Kirovsky District, which since 1967 has been named after People’s Commissar of Health Nikolai Semashko.

To tell the truth, the official address of this medical institution is Kalinina, 32. But most of the buildings of the Semashko Hospital still have Volskaya addresses. Among them, the former TB dispensary stands out first of all – perhaps the most architecturally expressive building on Volskaya Street.

The exact date of its construction is not known. In the book of the architect Alexei Morgun “From the fortress of Samara to the city of Kuibyshev” the building is simply designated as a typical design of a regional hospital, without indicating its authors.

What can we say for sure – this building was erected before 1957. Here is a photograph of a lone TB dispensary overlooking Novo-Vokzalnaya Street. This desert landscape in 1957 is diversified by the two-story houses of KuAZ workers, but more on that later.

Significantly more information about the nearby neurological department of the hospital. Semashko. It was built in 1950 and originally there was a maternity hospital. This building, like the tuberculosis building, is an identified object of cultural heritage.

As we have already mentioned, in 1967 the hospital was named after Nikolai Semashko. The renaming successfully coincided with the 25th anniversary of the medical institution.

In 1969, the building of the second dispensary department of the hospital named after. Semashko.

Finally, we would like to mention a small, but very “popular” trauma center among Samara residents with the address Volskaya, 76v.

But let’s go back to the times of the Great Patriotic War. Then several dozens of barracks appeared on Volskaya Street, which, fortunately, have not survived to this day. They can be seen in the picture taken on April 10, 1943 from the Junkers-88 reconnaissance aircraft. Volskaya Street is marked on it with a red line, and Novo-Vokzalnaya Street is blue. Barrack quarters are taken in a green outline. The most persistent of these barracks survived until the beginning of the 21st century.

At the end of the story about the wartime in the history of Volskaya, we will give a link to our material about the Bezymyanka map-diagram 1944 years, in which this street is mentioned more than once. If only because along it, from Kakhovskaya to Novo-Vokzalnaya, there was a mysterious railway line.

Post-war seven-year plan

Already in the victorious 45th on the corner with Kirov Avenue, school No. 84, known for its extensive sports ground, was opened. Now this building is one of the buildings of the Children’s Art School No. 4 with the address on Kirov Avenue.

Next to it, in the same 1945, a hostel was built for the engine-building plant named after. Frunze.

The two-storey houses opposite (Nos. 117, 119, 121) were built in 1947. They were on the balance sheet of the Progress plant.

However, even five years after its construction, the residents of house No. 119 suffered from an unregulated heating system.

But perhaps the main attraction of this section of Volskaya Street for half a century was the bus station of the same name. It was, let’s not be afraid of the word, a monument of wooden architecture. Below are pictures of the end of 1960s, provided to us by local historian Pavel Peshkov.

In the next photo, happy Kuibyshev residents are storming bus number 6, departing for the glade named after. Frunze.

The bus station ceased to exist in the 2010s, and its wooden building was demolished even earlier.

But let’s go back to the post-war period. In 1947, houses Nos. 107, 109 and 111 were built for the workers of Aviation Plant No. 18 (Aviakor). At 19In 45, house No. 97 was built for the workers of the plant, and six years later – Nos. 95 and 99.

The most attractive in terms of architecture is the quarter No. your current name. It was renamed from 4th Bezymyanka Street in 1949.

This quarter was in the sphere of influence of the Progress plant. Below is a photograph from 1951, in the center of which house number 94 on Volskaya Street poses.

Years of people’s construction

After 1951, Volskaya Street went on a five-year construction leave. Meanwhile, the population of Kuibyshev and Bezymyanka in particular was steadily growing. Solving the housing problem by demolishing barracks is quite troublesome. A more promising step was considered the development of wastelands, which abounded in the western part of Bezymyanka.

Houses were built of the simplest architecture, two-storey, by the workers themselves in their free time from their direct duties.

In 1957-59, the Kuibyshev Aviation Plant built up the section of Volskaya from Novo-Vokzalnaya to Alexander Matrosov Street in this way. Below are notes from the KuAZ newspaper that tell about this.

In 1960, the builders crossed Alexander Matrosov Street and headed for the territory of boarding school No. 4 (Volskaya, 40), built a year earlier.

As a result, from 1960 to 1962, KuAZ built houses No. 42, 44, 46, 50, 52, 52a and 54 along Volskaya Street.

Aircraft builders wrote about this area rarely, but aptly. A note from 1961 is devoted to illegal redevelopment in the newly built house number 50.

1960s on Volskaya

Kuibyshev railroad workers contributed to the development of the street during this period. Built by them in the first half of the 1960s, series 1-335 Khrushchev houses are located on the odd side of Volskaya between 22 Party Congress and Alexander Matrosov streets. Their distinguishing feature is two windows on the end walls of the building. In addition to the panel Khrushchevs, the railwaymen were in charge of brick houses No. 15, 23 and 25.

Among the sights here are the military commissariat of Sovetsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts (Volskaya, 15) and children’s art school No. 4 (Volskaya, 23).

In the same area there is the main educational institution of Volskaya street – Lyceum “Prestige”. Originally it was school number 154, it opened in 1960.

In 1976 it was decided to turn it into an interschool training and production plant. Which was done, but not immediately.

The co-author of this article, Yevgeny Almyashev, also happened to be in this building: “In our last school winter of 1989-1990, our class went here to study computer science, since our native school No. 80 did not have the appropriate facilities.”

Next to Prestige, in Soviet times, there was Kindergarten No. 106, now occupied by a training center for departmental security of Russian Railways.

If in the first half of the 1960s Volskaya was actively built up, the second half did not replenish its landscapes with residential buildings. But on the corner with Novo-Vokzalnaya at 19In 66, the building of a knitting studio was erected.

The trolleybus line has also grown a little. In 1968, a new section of it was laid along Volskaya: from Kalinina Street to Alexander Matrosov.

Volskaya Street during the period of stagnation

During the 1970s, one barracks quarter on Bezymyanka became less. It happened on the odd side of Volskaya Street, between Alexander Matrosov Street and Novo-Vokzalnaya. The corner from the last one in 1972 “scored” construction trust No. 11. As an architectural extravaganza, this home features blue tile traction above the top floor windows.

In the same 1972, Volskaya street became completely trolleybus. Thanks for this, it is worth saying to route No. 15. True, its route was somewhat different from the current one.

In the second half of the 1970s, the initiative of trust No. 11 in quarter 656 was supported by the Gidroavtomatika plant. On account of his construction shop, houses Nos. 55 and 57, built in 1976.

At the turn of the 1970s and 80s, Nos. 59, 61 and 65 were added to them. neighboring yards.

December 10, 1982

February 18, 1983

The third “box” eventually appeared, but did not survive to this day.

In 1978, the first truly high-rise building appeared on Volskaya Street. It was intended for personnel workers of the Kuibyshev Aviation Plant.

This nine-story building received the address Volskaya, 48. Semashko. They took up its renovation only at the turn of the century.

Below is a satellite image from 2002. The red arrow on it marks the barracks of the war years, and the blue arrow shows house No. 81 built in 2000.

The screenshot was made using Google Earth Pro. On April 7, 2022, Roskomnadzor classified all Google services as sites that violate Russian law.

The hut heritage of the 1940s was exterminated by 2011. In the courtyards of high-rise buildings erected here, one can find a lot of interesting things, by the standards of the outlying region. For example, an art object in the form of a hut on chicken legs or a vintage representative of the domestic automobile industry.

In the coming years, the number of Samarans with a residence permit on Volskaya Street will probably increase.
