“Enjoyable.”
March 2017
Great place to go in a quiet and walking route. Lots of activities here. I have seen rowing, fishing, duck eating, dog walking, kids playing, painting and a great ride for photography. When I come back here again, I will.

The amount of ball fields and the cleanliness of the grounds. All fields were easily accessible. Nice mini playgrounds for little trikes. nine0003

Nice Park
Dec. 2019
Drakes Creek Park is a very nice, well kept park for the community. We were in Hendersonville for dinner and I had seen advertisements on Facebook for the Ultimate Party Festival of Lights. We located the park and decided we would do the drive through Christmas lights. I have to be honest that I was so disappointed in what we found. Approximately 10-12 yard decorations lined on one side on the road leading in. This was NOT what I expected from the descriptions I had read about. We did find lots of beautifully decorated homes in the area that we greatly enjoyed. Now, when we were driving home I once again began thinking of the lights in the park. After thinking on it, it is so GREAT that the park does this for the community. It’s perfect to drive through with kids. Santa was also in the parking lot to greet kids. It’s perfect for walkers/joggers to smile about while exercising. My finally thoughts, the Festival of Lights may not have been what I was expecting, but, I’m sure it has put many smiles on many faces. nine0003

Very Nice and Clean Park
Sept. 2019
I drive for Uber and sometimes pick up riders at the park. It always seems to be well kept and full of people. You never see large amounts of trash or anything and it appears to be a very safe area for children.

Great place for everyone young and old
Sep 2019 • Family fun
Amazing park, adults were playing as hard as the children. This park has a skate park for my teen son and his friends. It features a separate play area for toddlers and lots to do for older kids. Great park to interact with your children.

So much to do!
May 2019 • Family Fun
Drakes Creek park is on the North side of Main Street (31E). The park on the south side of Main Street is now called Memorial Park. Drakes Creek park has manny sports fields like Volleyball, football, baseball, soccer, and baseball. There is also a Hendersonville Greenway connector that runs around the play fields and exits on the North end of Drakes Creek park and goes all the way to the library or if you choose the left fork, goes to Veterans park. There is plenty to do from picnics, small playground, feed the birds and waterfowl. nine0003

DRAKES CREEK PARK
March 2019 • Traveling alone
Great place. Well kept football, baseball, softball and soccer fields. Great walking trail. Gather up the kiddos and take a leisurely walk from the Hendersonville Library to Drakes Creek Park. Talk about the kinds of trees and plants along the way. Check out the cool insects and what their jobs are. See you friends and neighbors as you stroll to the park. Watch one of your favorite sports being played. Play on the playground or skip rocks into the stream. You’ll be sure to have a great time outdoors
