Harlingen First Church of the Nazarene Harlingen, TX Child Care Center

The child care center is under the direction of Barbara Clay who works with an elected board made up of members of the Church of the Nazarene.

The Child Care Center is opened from 7:00 a. m. until 5:45 p.m., Monday � Friday. 

 

The Center cares for children between 0 and 12 years of age. 

 


 It is our desire to give children a well-rounded education about themselves, our world, and in the things of God.  Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self and teacher-directed activities.  Staff serves as positive role models and provides care that is supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child�s needs.  We respect parents as the primary and most important provider of care and nurturing, and we believe parents and teachers are partners in children�s care and education.  

 

 PURPOSE – The Nazarene Christian Child Care Center was established in 1976 as a ministry of the First Church of the Nazarene and continues to operate in this capacity.
