iT’z an expensive mess

Fun Place for Kids & Adults!

I took my 3 boys, ages 14, 7, & 6 for Valentine’s Day while my daughter went to a dance with Dad. My boys loved it! The buffet offers lots of options for everyone. The game room was great! We played lots of games and even rode the bumper cars! nine0003

Fun Times, OK Food

OK, so everyone knows you don’t go to these places for the food. It’s like Chuckie Cheese; it’s OK.

The real fun are the games. My son is only two, so he’s happy playing on the free stuff. They have plenty of little rides that don’t cost anything, a jumpy house, a play place, and some other things that he loves. My daughter is seven and she has a blast too; for about $10 she is able to play all the games she wants, and even a few rides. Sometimes we spend a bit more, but I would say that we rarely spend over $10 on the games. nine0003

Fun but expensive!

We like this place a lot, but it’s too expensive. If you are taking a family of four plan on forming at least a hundred bucks, and that’s if you don’t buy extra stuff.

Birthday Celebrations!

Celebrating two birthdays in the same week, both kids chose It’z! So had two visits. Had a wonderful time. Were there for over 4 hours and still had to drag the kids out! James, the manager, and all the other staff were very nice and accommodating. Super deal is the way to go!! nine0003

A great day for the family

If you look at the prices, they can sem high. However, we always plan a whole day when we go. You can eat unlimited at the buffet the whole day, they have themed eating rooms (sports, drive-in movies, and cartoon) all appropriate for kids. If you get the unlimited rides and arcade games that you do not get tickets from deal the kids can ride them all day with no extra cost. The points you buy are for the games that give tickets and you are limited to the amount that you buy (so no unlimited points) and you can turn in your tickets for prizes. They even have a small bar so if a parent would like to enjoy a drink while you are there, you can. The best bang for your buck is to arrive when they open and either stay until they close or, we like to stay until dinner time, eat and then leave so we don’t have to about worry anything except for bed. We prefer it to Chuck E Cheese. nine0003

Disappointed kids

We went to It’z while on vacation this past week. It was our first time to visit and my three young sons were so excited when we arrived, however we all left frustrated. Our first shock was the price, the cashier suggested a deal for $19.99 each that included buffet and games. When we went to the buffet there were only 3 pizzas out and this was at about 6:00. There were other food bars but I don’t know what they had because most of them were empty. My kids were pretty disappointed with the pizza choices as was I. We sat and ate our food and got sick over how much we had just spent on it. When we went to play games, my 7 year old played his heart out on one of the “claw” games trying to get a prize. Everytime the thing would pick up a prize it would drop it just before it got to the hole. I know those things can be hard to win off of but it really felt rigged. My 4 & 5 year olds played mostly on the free things in the back and if I had known there were free things like the bouncer, playground and little rides I wouldn’t have spent so much on the deal. They had bumper cars and race cars that my sons wanted to ride but we couldn’t ever find anyone that worked there to come start it for them. They were pretty disappointed about that too. At the end when we redeemed our points the stuff was marked so high they could hardly get any prizes. They ended up with a sticky hand and a little sucker each. We were all frustrated on our way out. A few days later we went to a place kind of like it down the street called Brunswick Zone, great place and we spent less in the arcade and were able to get way better prizes. Also, we saw some of the same prizes that were marked way lower on points than at It’z. I would say skip the disappointment and frustration, go down the street to the better place.
