Daycares amarillo tx: Amarillo Independent School District – Child Care
Luisa’s Child Care in Amarillo, TX
I have plenty of space inside and
outside of my home for children to freely play.
The play area is clean and safe
so children can actively explore their surroundings.
🚂
Activities throughout the day
are set up to promote learning through play
and to accommodate the needs of
growing infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
💗
My eating and diapering area
is well-organized to be a comfortable
and practical place
while I work with the children.
This will also help me better focus on each child.
🍎
When I’m busy during the day
with diapering,
preparing meals & snacks,
feeding an infant 🍼,
or with other multiple childcare tasks;
Infants and Toddlers
aged 8 weeks to 23 months,
are each accommodated in a private room
with an age appropriate and comfortable playpen.
🧸🚂
Infants are never around toddlers without supervision.
Toddlers (12mo-23mo) are not allowed to play
with other toddlers (12mo-23mo) without active supervision.
Toddlers are not always willing to share toys!
Sharing is hard for toddlers because it involves thinking
about someone else’s feelings and they haven’t developed
the ability to do that yet. Being self-centered in toddlerhood
is a normal part of development. They are simply focused
on their own feelings, wants, and needs. Sharing is something
that is gradually learned with the help of their parents and caregivers.
⚠️(TODDLERS AGED 2 YEARS AND OLDER MAY NOT PLAY
WITH OTHER CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN
2 YEARS OLD WITHOUT ACTIVE SUPERVISION)⚠️
🦋🌺🐝
I have a total of “Three Private Rooms”
that are conveniently available for childcare.
Each Room has its own Diapering Area!
*(All Room Doors are kept open during the day
for proper audibility and supervision)
Safety gates are used throughout the Home
to keep children in Preschool Room or Playroom.
🐠
Having their own space in a Private Room with a
personal Diaper Changing Station and a comfortable Playpen,
allows infants and toddlers to comfortably nap on their own time,
listen to soothing Lullabies🎶, safely play with age appropriate toys,
and most importantly stay safe until I can spend time with them.
*Infants & Toddlers (2 months to 23 months)
are out of their room to join in the fun 🤩
as soon as I can constantly supervise them
and for as long as they are awake.
When awake, the approximate time frame when playing in their room,
(with frequent visual supervision), is 5 to 15 minutes;
This rotation from their room to the play area, every 5 to 15 minutes,
does not apply during their scheduled 😴💤 Rest/Nap Times.
All children in my care are required to have a sleep or rest period
for at least one hour in the morning (2mo-23mo),
and for at least one hour in the afternoon (2mo-4yrs).
The sleep or rest period must not exceed 3 hours!
🦩
🚫If your child is not content or not used to “Solo Play”
or “Independent Play Time” in a Safe Area
(Playpen or large Play Yard, for example)
for a short period of at least 15 minutes
then my Daycare Program will not be a good fit for your child‼️
SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR INFANTS, TODDLERS, AND PRESCHOOLERS
For children to grow, develop and learn, they
must be healthy and safe. They rely on adults to
protect them! Families can trust
Luisa’s Child Care
to keep their children safe.
🍄
My first priority is to keep the children in my care safe from harm.
Therefore, I provide active indoor supervision all day, every day!
🌼
Some activities require closer supervision.
Routine care, which includes meals and snacks,
diapering and toileting, arrival and departure,
and napping, requires vigilant supervision.
For this reason, a “Daily Activity Schedule” that includes
supervised routine care, play, and learning,
is followed at Luisa’s Child Care.
📝 NOTE: (INFANTS YOUNGER THAN 12 MONTHS
OF AGE MAY NOT SLEEP IN THEIR PLAYPEN
WITH ANY BLANKETS FOR THEIR SAFETY,
ONLY A FITTED SHEET WILL BE USED)
⚠️ Babies should always:
A) Sleep ALONE
B) On their BACK
C) In a cool, empty CRIB
S) In a SMOKE-FREE environment
The children’s Play Area and Preschool Room
are set up in an Open Floor Plan.
Therefore, toddlers and preschoolers,
aged 2 to 4 years old,
have consistent supervision while playing with their friends,
and when I’m busy with childcare tasks.
🌻
Daycare’s Daily Schedule is structured
and it includes plenty of time for
physical activity,
quiet time, rest & nap time,
individual preschool activities,
dancing, singing, and free playtime!
⭐️
Children happily listen to Preschool Music all day,
except during outside playtime,
TV time, and nap times💤,
*(TV time is limited and only educational programs are provided)
☀️
My goal is to stimulate each child’s development
and make each day more fun!
I provide a wide range of age-appropriate toys
that encourage the children’s development,
and stimulate creative and imaginative play.
⚽️
Toddlers that walk, and preschoolers,
have the chance to play outside every day.
(If the weather condition permits) ☔️
This will physically, mentally, and socially benefit them.
Outdoor activities and fresh air can stimulate a
child’s imagination and creativity.
🎨
Parents can also rest assured that their child,
12 months and older,
will be provided with well-balanced
home-cooked meals, and nutritious snacks.
Preschool education🎒, Arts & Crafts🎨🖍, daily story time 📚,
and lots of fun educational activities
are all included in the Daycare’s Daily Schedule
for children aged 2 to 4 years old.
