health care institution “Mogilev children’s polyclinic No.
2″ The health care institution “Mogilev children’s polyclinic No. 2” was separated from the adult polyclinic No. 5 in Mogilev in August 1982. and became a member of the TMO “Childhood”. The child population was about 12 thousand in 13 pediatric sites. The polyclinic employed 11 district doctors, 13 district nurses, and an otorhinolaryngologist.
Territorially, 7 preschool institutions and 3 secondary schools were assigned to the polyclinic for medical care. The largest number of the child population served by the children’s polyclinic fell on the period from 1987 to 1995 and amounted to about 15 thousand children aged 0 to 14 years.
By the decision of the Mogilev City Executive Committee, in order to improve the quality of medical care, a part of the children’s combine No. 36 was allocated for the rehabilitation treatment department of the children’s polyclinic No. 2, in August 2003. In February 2004, after the reconstruction, the department of medical rehabilitation was opened, which included rooms included: electro- and phototherapy, an inhalation room, an aeroionotherapy room, for dispensing oxygen cocktails, massage, physiotherapy exercises, balneo treatment, a swimming pool, as well as a day hospital for 15 multidisciplinary beds.
In 2007, an early intervention room for children in Mogilev was organized on the basis of the department.
In 2016, by the decision of the Mogilev City Executive Committee, in order to improve the availability of medical care to the population, an outpatient clinic was organized, located at the address: Mogilev, st. Movchansky, 45, which currently serves the children’s population of nearby areas.
