Alicia is a long-awaited and beloved child in our family. In the first year after her birth, I was convinced that I could never trust her to strangers. We attended all developing classes and circles only together. Even leaving Alicia with the nanny for a few hours, I could not be completely calm.
My anxiety was caused by a long wait for a child and, as a result, overprotection.
Some time later, I met a friend whose child was already attending kindergarten. I listened attentively to her, imagining with horror the emotions of parting with a child for the whole day.
Realizing that I would not be able to decide to send my child to a kindergarten, I already mentally put an end to my career and the opportunity to realize myself in professional activities.
When Alicia was one and a half years old, we found out that we were waiting for an addition. At that moment, I finally realized that I can forget about my favorite work, if not forever, then for many years.
The closer the time of delivery came, the harder it became for me to cope with Alicia alone. The decision to go to kindergarten was not easy for me. We sent Alicia to kindergarten at 1 year and 11 months old.
For such “anxious” parents like me, our kindergarten provides a special approach. For several days I was present in the kindergarten from morning until almost evening, watching how Alicia adapts, how she joins the team and how the teachers behave.
Despite the fact that the child showed that she was comfortable, the excitement did not leave me.
For a few more weeks, I watched on cameras what she was doing in the kindergarten, taking a break only for daytime sleep.
A few months later, Alicia could no longer imagine her life without her beloved teacher, toys and friends. Already a month after the start of visiting the kindergarten, Alicia began to speak! Before that, she could only speak single words. Communication with children her age quickly taught me how to connect words into sentences.
After 4 months, Alicia began to count to ten in Russian and English.
My second daughter Adeline was born when Alicia was 2 years and 2 months old. This period was difficult for our family.
There was no one close to us who could help, and my husband and I took care of our two children ourselves.
Our goals were not just to “grow up” both daughters, but also to give each of them a full-fledged development.
Kindergarten helped us a lot during this period. Classes in English, rhythm, fitness, music, all this was included in the training program and we did not need to travel to additional classes.
So another year flew by, the younger Adeline always reached out for Alicia and did not want to leave the kindergarten when we came in the evening for her sister.
At that time, I was already calm, one hundred percent sure that everything was in order with my child in the kindergarten.
Adelina was only 1 year and 5 months old when we decided to send her to kindergarten after her sister. What spiritual anguish I had at that time! I really wanted to start my favorite job after a long maternity leave, and at the same time I was terribly tormented by my conscience because I had to leave the baby for the whole day.
Adeline didn’t even have any preparation. She went straight to kindergarten for a full day.
And I went to work. For the first two weeks, I did not let go of the phone, watching on cameras what she was doing in the group, how she got along with the teacher.
For Alice, I was already calm and practically did not switch the camera to her group.
Sometimes, if I was late at work and did not have time to pick up the children from the duty group, the teachers always got in position and stayed with the children, waiting for me.
In 2 weeks it will be exactly a year since Adeline went to kindergarten. She has been talking, dancing, singing songs and reciting poems for a long time.

And I completely immerse myself in the work, knowing that my little ones are safe.
