kindergartens at 26/1 Oktyabrskaya and 61/2 Lenina have no sidewalks. The curb here was laid flush with the road, so drivers use this area as a roadway. Because of this, parents with children are at risk every day. The mayor’s office commented on the situation.
According to Ekaterina, a mother of two children, the road next to the kindergartens was built three years ago without a normal curb.
Both kindergartens belong to the same educational institution – kindergarten of the general developing type No. 119 “Solovushka”, where, according to the official website, there are 11 groups and 242 pupils. The buildings stand side by side, residents call them the “upper” and “lower” kindergarten.
– In summer, cars are often parked on more than half of the footpath, it is no longer possible to pass with a stroller. In winter, it’s generally dangerous there: the track is forever and the roadway is narrow, cars huddle even tighter, how can you get there with sleds? Catherine explained. — We have excellent traffic here, not a deserted street. The situation is acute, the school year will begin, and in general there will be trash, next to the Palace of Youth, so all the pedestrians are crowded with cars, it is unrealistic to pass.
Ekaterina noted that mothers with children in this area from time to time try to find an approach to drivers, but they do not make concessions – they go where families take their kids.

In 2021, Ekaterina applied to the city administration.
