Licensed Child Care Located in the Community
There are a variety of child care settings from which to choose, depending upon your needs. You are best qualified to judge which setting will be most appropriate for your family. These include child care centers, family child care homes, nursery schools, cooperatives, playgroups and recreation programs licensed by the state to serve infants through school-age children.
- Child Action Child Care referral system Lists of all licensed local childcare (Family Child Care Homes and Child Development Centers) in the Sacramento area. Children with special needs referrals as well. Three quick ways to get assistance:

Child Action, Inc. has specialists available who speak English, Spanish, and Russian fluently who are able to provide you with a listing of providers as well as useful information to consider while selecting care. (takes less than 1 minute to speak to a local specialist).
- Email their office at [email protected]. To best meet your needs please enter “Child Care Referrals” in the subject line and let them know your address and/or zip code, age of child(ren), and hours care is needed. You will receive a referral list via your email within a day.

- This is the main resource designated by state licensing for finding openings at licensed small family home centers and large Child Development Centers.

This is care provided by babysitters, nannies and au pairs, who are considered domestic employees exempt from licensing. Background checks for criminal convictions and child abuse are available through Trustline Registry.

On December 24, two kindergartens opened at once – in the Izumrudny and
“Sacramento”. After the New Year, kindergartens will open their doors for 280 kids.

The opening day started with a solemn
ceremony in Kindergarten No. 54 “Cipollino” microdistrict “Sacramento”, in which
took part and.about. the head of the administration of the city of Balashikha Sergey Chernukha,
Head of the Department of Education Alexander Zubov, Bishop of Balashikha
Nicholas, vicar of the Moscow diocese.
Head Galina Umnikova held for
guests a tour of the kindergarten, following which the head of the administration
noted the high level of construction work, guaranteeing a cozy and comfortable

Emphasizing the importance of opening a kindergarten,
Sergey Chernukha added: “I want to say that next year will be decisive for us –
we must implement the road map, the decree of the president and our governor on
sequence in our city. Such work is currently underway, a number of
objects are under construction, in many the works are coming to an end. Therefore, I think that in
Next year, we will have many more such objects.
”
Then it was time to open
kindergarten No. 55 “Emerald City” in the microdistrict “Emerald”, which
was visited by the deputy head of the administration of the city of Balashikha Lilia Tatevosyan.

Kindergartens opened in Balashikha
designed for 140 pupils each. Three storey modern buildings
about 1.7 thousand sq. m with playgrounds and sports grounds and a beautiful bright atrium
built according to individual projects of the architects of the Morton Group of Companies.
Each kindergarten has 7
groups. Two groups of younger preschool age (3-4 years) are located on
ground floors, where there is also a music room and a medical office.
The second floor is occupied by two groups for children 4-5 years old, along with study groups
and a gym equipped not only with a standard gymnastic
wall and slide, but also the best children’s simulators for harmonious development
kids.
