Hello. My name is Kate and I am the oldest of nine children. I am 32 years old and live in South Nashua with my husband and two children (5&8) that attend school.I have grown up in my mother’s home daycaresince I was an infant. I was a full time Nanny during college and then went into the accounting field. I missed being around children and helping them grow. I then left my office job to open my own small home daycare where I get to treat other kids like my own every day. I am CPR and first aid certified.
At my home daycare I have a newly renovated playroom, provide all healthy meals and snacks, and go outside every day (weather permitting). Please contact me with any questions you may have and I hope to be able to help your child grow and have tons of fun at my home daycare….
Recent Review:
Kate is awesome!!! My 2 year old dealt with separation anxiety pretty bad and she was absolutely amazing with him. She’s very helpful and understanding to personal situations.

If you’re looking for a loving and warm caregiver to watch your kids- you’ve found her! I am a loving SAHM looking to care for your children in my home. I have three wonderful children of my own. A 12.5 yearold daughter, a 8.5 year old daughter, and a 5 year old son. They are all sweetnatured and well- behaved. The girls will be in school for a full day come Fall and I will only have my 5 year old son.
I have 5 years experience running a daycare out of my home. I have worked with babies, toddlers, and preschool aged kids. I live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with a playground in the backyard. I am conveniently located off of Route 3, Main Dunstable Area.
As a Childcare Provider, my goal is to create and foster a loving and safe environment for your children. While your child is in my care, a typical day may include: Playing indoor and outdoor games, reading, free play, cooking, crafts, puzzles, circle time, music and movement, and gross motor play. We also like to take field trips to the park, the library, the mall, indoor playgrounds, museums, zoos, and go on nature walks and other special places like farms.
Since my son is 5 years old, I plan to implement a kindergarten curriculum that I will teach to him and any in-coming children. The focus will be on counting, identifying numbers, Identifying letters and their sounds, simple sight words, rhyming, learning to write your name, social skills, learning to share and also more hands on learning like planting a seed and seeing what it becomes. I also like to cover character principles: learning to be kind, to share, to be helpful, patient, etc. Plus, we will be working with play dough, kinetic sand, and art supplies to help strengthen their fine motor skills for writing in the future.
I also have a finished basement filled with toys and activities for children, with a large area to run around and get their energy out. We usually have a lot of fun and the day flies by. I would welcome your children into our family and would treat them as my own.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Nashua KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)
Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist’s Heart
“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.

As Hayden’s parents, our goal is always to provide our daughter with a safe, healthy and fun environment. Enrolling her in KinderCare is allowing her to grow and prosper to her full potential.
Hayden was introduced to the infant room in September of 2013, where educated and caring teachers constantly surrounded her. As Hayden developed, she transitioned to the Toddler room and later into Discovery Preschool. After nearly two years at KinderCare, our daughter is blossoming.
Annie O’Brien, the center’s director, is creative, helpful and informative. She makes herself available and is receptive to concerns or suggestions made by parents. The entire teaching staff is a breath of fresh air. They welcome each child and immediately involve him/her in on-going activities, making dropping a child off effortless.
As Hayden grows with the center, she develops friendships with other children there; many are the same children she started with as an infant. We could not be more proud of the little girl she is developing into, and a part of her success is the center and the staff.
Thank you KinderCare for making a great impression on our daughter.Brian and Michelle S. – KinderCare Parent

My daughter started KinderCare in June 2014, she had just turned four and had been in previous childcare centers but we wanted a school closer to home as next year she will be in public Kindergarten. I cannot say enough great things about this center. When we started there was a little bit of turnover within the management team, but the new Director assigned Ms. Annie has been nothing but wonderful! You can tell she has invested herself into the center from the minute you walk in the door; she has made so many positive changes for the best interest of the center. My daughter is always greeted by a member of management, either the Center Director or Assistant Center Director when she arrives and leaves, as there is always a member of management at this center from open to close, which I love! Then she runs to her class to be greeted by open arms by her teacher Ms. Mel. Like I said before, she’s been at other childcare centers but I don’t know what it is with this center, but my daughter absolutely loves it here. When I pick her up she cries that I am there and ask if we can stay longer, after already being there over 10 hours. The curriculum I can’t say enough about…she comes home with new songs she’s learned, and even started writing numbers and her full name in less than 3 months! All the staff at Nashua KinderCare has been very welcoming and friendly to us and I wouldn’t want my child anywhere else. Thank you Annie & Staff at Nashua KinderCare for making a difficult decision so much easier everyday! I know she’s in good hands when I leave her with you!

“I am writing to inform you that I will be pulling Ryder out of daycare, due to a lack of available shifts with my current employer. My husband and I appreciate all of the loving care that you and your staff have given to the baby. I am hoping that within a few months we will get back on track, and Ryder will be able to return. I prefer having him in school where he can interact with other children and expand his little mind. You have a wonderful staff, and I wouldn’t dream of taking him to a different facility. Thank you so much, and we hope to be back by Spring, if not earlier. Sincerely, Melissa P.”

“We have had and continue to have exceptional experiences with KinderCare of Nashua. The staff is extremely flexible and friendly, great with the children, and very knowledgeable when it comes to educating our children. Had it not been for the staff, our oldest daughter would be struggling in school. The staff identified a potential learning disability prior to our daughter entering public Kindergarten and because of that we had her tested at the start of Kindergarten. After a number of tests, we learned she was in fact identified as having a disability. Our daughter is now in first grade and has made significant strides thanks to the staff at KinderCare.”

My child has been enrolled at KinderCare for two years. From the very first day, as I walked out of her classroom, into the Assistant Director’s office in tears, and she reassured me that both my daughter and I would be okay, I have felt extremely confident in the care there. I am so thankful that I can feel at ease knowing that she is safe and secure at school every single day while being given the opportunity to learn, grow and make new friends. At times over the past two years, my child has required a lot of patience and understanding, and the staff has always gone above and beyond in providing her with gentle re-direction, nurturing guidance, as well as willingly incorporating strategies from her therapist into their classrooms. Her teachers have always been open to my feedback and they have always seemed as excited as I am to see her make any progress! At times over the past two years, there have been many last minute changes in her schedule which have consistently created disruptions in the school’s daily schedule, but the staff has always made us feel welcome and been extremely flexible, understanding and supportive. I cannot thank the KinderCare staff, especially the director Miss Annie, for all of the love, support, and guidance they have provided for not only my child and all of the other children they care for, but for myself as well. Her and I both walk into school smiling every single day because we’re both happy to be there and much of that has to do with the staff’s pleasant, upbeat attitude, and positive environment that they have created. The saying, “It takes a village to raise a child” could not be more true in my heart and I feel very blessed and thankful to have KinderCare as an enormous piece of our village.

(April 2013) (Learn how and when to delete this message template) Dunstable and Pepperell, Massachusetts, as well as parts of other nearby cities on both sides of the border. In 1732, all of Dunstable east of the Merrimack River became the City of Nottingham, Massachusetts. Nine years later, the northern boundary of Massachusetts was finally formally established, and the New Hampshire portion of Nottingham became Nottingham West, to avoid confusion with Nottingham, New Hampshire, to the northeast. [4] In 1830, after most of a century, the name was changed to “Hudson” to avoid confusion with the old town of Nottingham. The name appears to derive from an early belief that the Merrimack River was once considered a tributary of the Hudson River, or that the area was once explored by Henry Hudson; both stories turned out to be completely apocryphal, but the name of the city has survived to this day. A prominent family in Hudson’s history was the Alfred and Virginia Hills family, who owned a large piece of land north of the village of Hudson. Dr. Hills’ ancestors were early settlers of the Hudson. [5] B House in the Hills on Derry Road (now the National Register of Historic Places) is a former family vacation home and the current location of the City Historical Society. The grounds host an annual “Old House Days” fair, as well as a “Harvest Festival” and “Bronco Belly Bustin’ Chili Fiesta”, a Friends of Music charity in Alvirna. The Hills Memorial Library (also listed on the National Register) is one of the state’s oldest public libraries, occupying a stone building on Library Street. Alvirne High School, Alvirne’s day and chapel, located on family land across Derry Road from Hills House, was donated to the city. (“Alvirn” is short for “Alfred” and “Virginia.”) The strange rumor that Hills’ only son died during a football game has been around for years, but Dr. and Mrs. Hills only had two daughters who died. not survive infancy, so it was a fictional story. Out of respect, Alvirne High went without a football team for decades despite being one of the largest high schools in the state. It was assumed that such a clause was placed as a condition of the high school’s charter. When it became known that such a condition had never been recorded, financial pressure contributed to the creation of a football team. Autumn 1994 years old, Alvirne High School had its first football team, and in 1996, the high school started playing. Alvirn High School has one of the largest agricultural and vocational programs in the area, the Wilbur H. Palmer Agricultural and Vocational School. This school has several student-run businesses, including a bank, a restaurant, a shop, a kindergarten, a dairy farm, and a forestry program. [6] GeographyThe Hudson is located in southeastern Hillsborough County, its southern boundary forms the Massachusetts state line. According to the US Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 29.3 square miles (75.8 km2). 2 ), of which 28.3 square miles (73.3 km 2 ) is land and 0.93 square miles (2.4 km 2 ) is water, comprising 3.19% of the city. [1] The highest point on the Hudson is Bush Hill, at 515 feet (157 m) above sea level. sea level, near the eastern border of the city. The Hudson lies entirely within the Merrimack River watershed. [7] Hudson Town Common with the Hills Memorial Library in the background The City of Hudson had two historic centers, although modern development and suburban sprawl have obscured the difference. Hudson Village , roughly equivalent to Hudson’s Census Designated Location, is located on the city’s western edge on the Merrimack River near the junction of Routes 3A, 111, and 102, and was home to most of the original schools, libraries, and city government, although many of these functions have been moved to new premises elsewhere in the city. The town hall still stands, although the main police station has moved to the eastern edge of the city to an industrial park off Highway 111. The Hills Memorial Library building remains a historic landmark, although its collection has been moved to a new building, the Rogers Memorial Library, located on Highway 102 in the northeast parts of the city. [8] Kimball Webster Historic School no longer has classes, but today houses the City Superintendent’s office, albeit at Library Street School and H.O. The Smith School is still in operation. [9] City Community at the intersection of Derry, Ferry and Library Streets is a park that displays large toy soldiers and other decorations at Christmas time. Hudson Center , historically another downtown Hudson, is located at the five-street junction of Center Street (Route 111), Greeley Street, Kimball Hill Road, and Wyndham Road near the city’s geographic center. Two of Hudson Center’s most important landmarks have been lost to history. Benson Wild Animal Farm, a zoo and amusement park, was closed at the end of 1980s due to growing financial losses. A railroad once ran through the Center, carrying passengers all the way from Boston to Benson. The train depot counter remained on nearby Greeley Street through the 1970s. The Benson Wild Animal Farm site was purchased by the city and is now a passive recreation park. Another attraction, Thompson’s Market, closed in 2002 when Mr. Thompson decided to sell his shop and retire. Florida. The structure still stands, but it has been remodeled and reopened as a 7-Eleven, a small late-night store. The original Thompson Market is also nearby, in a small building on Kimball Hill Road, now home to a popular sandwich shop. Greeley Field, a popular park located in the center of the Hudson, contains a playground, Little League diamond baseball, and basketball courts, where pickup games still often take place. A Revolutionary War-era cemetery and an old schoolhouse (now residential) on Kimball Hill Road are nearby. neighboring municipalities
