Absolutely great!!!! A must go!
Incredible, absolutely masterpiece place! The famous “America’s biggest house”.
I thought that nothing would surprise me anymore, after the Yusupov palaces and buildings and castles seen in Europe. God, I haven’t seen such scope and luxury for a long time! Don’t spare money. The ticket for February 2019 was $60 per person. Not cheap at all, but you will forget about the cost as soon as you enter the territory, which is literally like a city, incredibly huge, immersed in greenery and rivers. The castle is absolutely luxurious, the views are amazing, just a feast for the eyes. I recommend it for obligatory graying to all tourists who visit America. Pearl of Carolina and all America. Touch the history of the wealth of the Vanderbilts, and also advises reading about them before visiting the “home”. nine0005

Submarine in the steppes of Carolina
We are going from KittyHock to Miami, looking at the map – a ship is drawn (and we love cats) right on the course. This is one of the last of its kind. As always, the opening hours are over (17-00). Not a single living soul, but we still climbed where we could. Colossal, as they say on the catcher and …

A wonderful place in nature
We were advised to visit this park at the Asheville information center. Entrance by car is paid. The park has paths where you can walk your dog, and our dog was also delighted with the walk along the river. Loved the botanical garden. For children, an interactive exhibition of all kinds of robots is interesting. nine0005

It’s not really a library, it’s still a museum and it’s multifaceted
We went to this place only because it’s the number one attraction in Charlotte. Not being evangelists, connoisseurs of the life of Billy Graham, we did not even plan to go into the “church”, but curiosity won out and we timidly looked in. We were immediately welcomed very kindly. I was immediately struck by the cow standing to the right of the entrance, we were amazed, after a couple of seconds we realized that it was mechanical (but executed extremely realistically), it also starts the tour. In general, of course, the museum is dedicated to the life of the preacher Graham, but the story is presented for almost a century and shows the development of the media industry – radio room, television, the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the collapse of the USSR.
Very cozy garden around the house and the library. nine0005

It’s like being in a real desert
Jockey’s Ridge State Park is a stunning place that feels like a real desert. It is located in Nags Head. The best time to go there is in the evening when the sun is setting. Then it seems as if you are watching the sunset in the desert. Walking these dunes is a real pleasure and adventure. Directly across the road from the dunes is the ocean, so if you get tired of wandering through the sands, you can simply cross the road and dip your feet into the ocean. nine0005

Fantastic view from Chimney Rock
My husband is afraid of heights, and when he saw a piece of rock hanging over his head from afar, he categorically declared: “It’s not for me. Climb alone.” But the closer we got to the place of ascent, the clearer it became that it would not be difficult at all and not scary at all.
