Hermitage Garden – Workingmama

Hermitage Garden is an ideal place for a cultural holiday in the center of Moscow. Here you can feed squirrels, pigeons and pheasants. The garden is behind a fence, so on ordinary days it is calm and quiet here. There are three theaters in the garden at once – the Hermitage, the Sphere and the New Opera. There is a playground for children in the garden. The playground was built during the war, at 1943 year. After reconstruction, the playground pleases kids with fun slides and carousels.

The cozy restaurant “Veranda 32.05” is open all year round on the territory of the Hermitage Garden.

FOR KIDS 0-3 YEARS

Mothers with prams can comfortably walk throughout the Hermitage Garden – there are no noisy cafes and attractions. With the kids, you can relax on the playground – while the children are playing, mothers can watch them sitting on comfortable benches.

Leisure activities for the little ones are offered by several developing studios located on the territory of the garden. For example, at Children’s club “White Rabbit House” (White Rabbit House) has a mini-garden for different age categories (baby, toddlers, kids), as well as several sections for children from 2 to 6 years old.

There are even more studios for mothers with babies in Seasons Mom’s Garden . Here you can practice yoga, attend soft school classes, get acquainted with music, try your hand at creativity, dance or just play on the playgrounds and communicate with peers. In the space of “Mom’s Garden” there is a buffet with a children’s menu, a shop of books and toys Nonsense and children’s barber shop “Adult children” , where haircuts and manicures are done for both children and their mothers.

In Yegor Simachev’s Ballet Workshop you can study with teachers from the Bolshoi Theatre. Toddlers from 1.5 years old are taught the elements of ground gymnastics, exercise at the barre, choreography, musical rhythm, free plasticity and dance improvisation. From the age of three, you can study ballet with French-speaking teachers.

Children from 9months to 4 years. Teachers combine music, games and communication, which turns boring music lessons into interesting adventures. The program includes: welcome songs, musical and motor warm-ups, game massage and gymnastics, speech development, singing, acquaintance with notes and the development of absolute pitch, playing children’s musical instruments, puppet theater and staging fairy tales. Classes are held with parents.

SUMMER IN THE PARK

The Hermitage Summer Garden is well maintained and very green. Lindens, maples, oaks, poplars and many shrubs grow here. There are enough curly benches in the garden for everyone, and on the alleys you can see sculptural works – busts of Victor Hugo or Dante Alighieri. In the summer in the garden, you can study flower beds and flower beds or explore the expanses of the playground. There is a fountain here and interesting festivals regularly take place (Season magazine festival, jazz events and various concerts).

You can rent segways and play ping-pong at the fairground. To do this, there are three new tables in the Garden, rackets for lack of it can be taken from the guards in the administrative building. In addition, outdoor yoga classes are held in the Garden during the summer.

But the most attractive place for children in the Garden in summer is the wonderful playground . There is a large climbing slide in the form of a white stork, a sports section with a rope ladder and cobwebs on the roof, a carousel, a play maze for the little ones, trampolines and a sandbox.

WINTER IN THE PARK

In winter, two skating rinks operate in the Hermitage Garden. The first, most romantic skating rink in Moscow is a 900 square meter artificial ice rink.
