We send a calendar of scheduled activities home with your child each month to keep you current on upcoming events.

Engaging Kids in Healthy Living.

ABC Great Beginnings West Valley Child Care Center is excited to be a part of this great Healthy Way to Grow program, which comes out of the American Heart Association. Healthy Way to Grow is science based and designed to help reverse childhood obesity by improving practices and policies in early childhood programs. Plus check out our monthly newsletter for recipes, health and wellness tips and more.

Extended Hours Available

Our reputation rests on providing excellent child care, and we know how busy parents can be. That’s why we offer early opening and late closing hours in our West Valley facility, starting at 5 a.m. on weekdays and staying open until 1 a.m. We also offer childcare on Saturdays from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. We can care for your kids during these extended hours based on availability; please call for availability as we meet state ratios.

In addition to providing after-hours care, we provide transportation to and from a number of local elementary schools. Unlike other daycare facilities in the area, we only use buses and passenger vehicles for transportation. We use buses because they have far better safety records than 15-passenger vans.

Safety First on the Playground

Play and movement is an important part of childhood, and our facility includes play areas both inside and outside. Indoors, we have toys and games suitable for a variety of interests. Outdoors, we use rubber-mat surfacing to help protect against scrapes, cuts and slips. This advanced material also removes the risk of sand or bark being swallowed or getting in eyes and ears.

We Pass All State Inspections

We care about your kids, and we want you to be confident knowing that our dedication translates to a warm, nurturing environment. We are committed to helping your kids thrive as they become lifelong learners. We are proud to say that we have passed all state inspections and that each of our childcare providers holds required certifications. In addition, we are accredited by our curriculum provider, TeachingStrategies, and we meet all National Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Finding Child Care for Non-Traditional Work Schedules

Today’s job market requires many employees to work shifts that start or end after most child care programs open or close. More and more businesses operate around the clock. Many companies work in shifts, which means employees work in the early mornings, evenings, nights, rotating schedules, weekends, holidays or extended hours. These non-traditional schedules affect the lives of millions of families.

Hospital employees are but one example of working parents who work unusual hours and face special difficulties in finding child care or family support. From hotel staff to police officers to retail workers to factory employees whose services are needed beyond the typical work day, finding child care to match non-traditional schedules can be tough.

Child Care Choices

Changing schedules and unusual hours in a job are serious issues for many working parents. There are currently few child care programs for those families that need care during non- traditional hours. Most child care centers and providers operate Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Parents need child care during their working hours, whenever they may be. The search for child care can be difficult and the choices few.

For some parents, the solution to child care is to work alternate shifts. You may work the night shift while your spouse or partner works the day. Often these arrangements require your relatives or friends to fill in the gaps and overlap of work hours as well as the times when the schedule begins to fall apart. This leaves little time for parents or the entire family to have together. It’s a tight schedule.

Family child care is often the kind of care best able to respond to the needs of working parents who work non-traditional hours. Family child care is more likely to offer flexible hours. Sometimes there are centers that serve employers, or communities where many families work late shifts, early morning or night hours.

Parents must sometimes use more than one regular child care arrangement to cover all the hours of their employment. You may place your child in a combination of formal care such as center or family child care, and informal care such as relatives, neighbors or teens/babysitters for after school and evening hours.

It may be possible to arrange a trade with another family. For every hour of child care you receive, you watch their child for one hour. This can be particularly helpful in filling in the gaps of your child care schedule although it also means giving some of your own free time.

Your local Child Care Resource and Referral agency (CCR&R) maintains a list of all state regulated child care in your area. CCR&R staff can help you find child care arrangements that offer flexible hours and best match your schedule. To find the CCR&R that covers your area, search online.

Your Employer’s Role

Finding child care with flexible hours is not easy. Extended hours are very rarely provided for in center-based care and hard to find in family care. Unpredictable or erratic schedules can be particularly difficult when arranging good child care.

You can raise this issue with your co-workers, supervisors and management. You might find that by bringing this issue to your employer’s attention, you are making them aware of it for the first time. Explain that parents cannot work productively unless they have care for their children where and when they need it. Success on the job is directly linked to accessible, affordable child care.

Some employers support efforts to identify family child care providers near the workplace or in neighborhoods where their employees live. Networks of family child care homes may be formed.

Your employer can be responsive to your needs in other ways too. . Determine whether your schedule can be modified or rearranged. Ask if information can be shared among all the employees through support groups and parenting seminars during work hours. Group discussion of strategies for finding child care, how to manage non-traditional work schedules, and balancing work and family life will benefit everyone.

Seeking Solutions

Some businesses have begun to address the lack of nontraditional hours child care. For example, an employer in Kentucky has set up an on-site child care center open 24 hours a day to fit the company’s various work schedules. In North Carolina, managers at Purdue Farms initiated discussion with family child care providers when they planned a shift change for employees and anticipated a shortage of child care. In other areas, employers have joined together to create child care centers and to offer services for their combined company employees. Still other employers have come together to recruit and train child care providers who can provide non-standard schedules.

Some communities are addressing the difficulty of finding child care for non-traditional hours through a variety of traditional and innovative approaches. A program in South Carolina trains teenagers to provide care for after school hours. In California, a center serves families of workers at San Francisco Airport and related businesses by offering care from 5 AM to midnight seven days a week and allows parents to create new schedules every month. This program was created though the joint efforts of the employers, unions, local government and community groups.

What Can Be Done

There is no one perfect solution and much still needs to be done. It is time to raise everyone’s awareness about the need for specialized child care services, and create links between employers, parents, child care providers and community service agencies. You can help by talking with your employer. Describe the need for non-traditional child care hours and explain that the company’s support of this issue can attract and retain employees. Overall, there can be a significant reduction in absenteeism and an increase in employee morale.

Often businesses will begin with some form of survey to determine the existing needs for child care, an inventory of local child care resources and what the best response should be. There are typically few providers offering care during non-traditional hours and many parents in need of these services so the survey will identify these gaps.

Some states now offer incentives for providers to increase their hours of operation and there are increased efforts to identify new providers. The key to future success is to gain the commitment of more employers, child care providers and community members who see flexible child care hours as an important resource.

Innovative Approaches

Speak with your child care provider and your Child Care Resource and Referral agency about the hours you need and what can be done. It is possible that some of the best solutions for child care during non-traditional work hours in your community have yet to come. The following initiatives represent a sampling of public-private partnerships that have addressed child care during nontraditional hours:

1199/Employer Child Care Fund: A collective bargaining agreement between employers and the 1199 Health Care Workers Union in New York City. It offers a variety of child care services including a child care center, vouchers for child care and summer camp, resource and referral services, weekend cultural program and weekend care programs.

Employer’s Child Care Alliance: Started by a group of business and government employers concerned about the lack of child care in rural Alabama. It provides a variety of child care services and has tried to stimulate child care during nontraditional hours. It provides extra staff such as college work-study students so family child care providers can take in additional children during the overlap of first and second shift parent employees.

Portland Bridge Kids Projects. In 1994 and 1995, the Maine Department of Transportation worked with the Portland YMCA to provide child care to workers at three major bridge and bypass construction sites. The YMCA offered early morning, evening and overnight care. An on- site consultant was hired to give out information about child care and to encourage additional contractors to adopt similar programs.

Paul’s Place: When the ConAgra corporation wanted to attract and retain the best employees in their northwest Arkansas Butterball Turkey plant, managers realized that they needed to help meet the child care needs of their workers. Paul’s Place child care was created through a local partnership headed by ConAgra. Partners include child care providers, Head Start, regional and federal economic development agencies and the Governor’s Office. The center is open extended hours including weekends when parents must work mandatory overtime.

Doors locked, lights off and no staff inside, so woman calls 911 to get her child out

A company with a chain of daycare centers around the country is trying to find out what went wrong at its Plantation facility when a 2-year-old was left inside alone.

PLANTATION, Fla. – A mother was forced to call 911 after she showed up to pick up her 2-year-old daughter at a daycare center and found the doors locked, the lights off, and her child left alone inside.

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, just after 6 p.m., Stephanie Martinez arrived at the KinderCare Child Care Center in Plantation and it looked closed.

Samantha Scaramellino, who is the little girl’s aunt, told Local 10 News that Martinez had called her hoping that she had picked up 2-year-old Anastasia at the daycare. Scaramellino said she told Martinez she did not have her niece.

That’s when Martinez saw her daughter inside the daycare alone, peering out of a door’s window, and she called 911.

“She is inside the daycare. She just came up to the door,” Martinez told the dispatcher.

The dispatcher asked: “She is inside by herself?”

Martinez said: “Yes, she’s crying. She’s inside by herself.”

A mother was forced to call 911 after she showed up to pick up her 2-year-old daughter at a daycare center and found the doors locked, the lights off, and her child left alone inside.

Plantation Police and Fire arrived and forced the doors open to let the child out. Fortunately, she was OK. It is still not known how long the toddler was left inside the building alone before her mother arrived.

Local 10 News went to the daycare to ask if anyone knew why the child was left inside. Staff members referred us to their corporate number.

Scaramellino said she did get a response from the daycare and that they told her it most likely happened because of “short staffing.

An official statement from a KinderCare spokesperson said that the staff members involved have been placed on administrative leave while the company looks into the incident.

KinderCare Learning Centers is a chain of child-care facilities around the United States and is based in Portland, Oregon.

KinderCare released a statement in response to the incident.

“At KinderCare, nothing is more important to us than the safety of the children in our care. While we’re thankful the child was quickly found and was safe, this incident should not have happened.

We take all concerns about children’s safety seriously and follow a specific protocol anytime an issue is raised. Part of that protocol includes notifying our agency partners, like state licensing and Child Protective Services, as we did in this case . . .

As these investigations take place, we’ll also take immediate steps to ensure this kind of thing doesn’t happen again. All of our teachers and staff will be retrained on proper child supervision. They’ll also receive additional training on child care best practices as part of the curriculum we already had planned for all teachers and staff at our centers across the country for Professional Development Day on Monday.”

The girl’s mother told Local 10 News: “It’s the worst feeling in the world. You can’t do anything.” Martinez said her toddler was “shocked. She just came straight to me . . . would not let me go.”

Martinez said that because the lights were turned off and Anastasia was left in the dark, she is now having a difficult time sleeping.

“I just want them to be held accountable. I don’t want this to ever happen to anyone else,” Martinez said.

Plantation police are investigating.

This is a great fitness center.  They have a new weight/cardio room, multiple pools for laps, family fun, swim lessons, etc.  Friendly staff, childcard, and fees are extremely reasonable.

Parents should know that kindergartens in Kazan are being built under the Demography national project

July 5, 2019 17:26

Dinara Prokopieva

The control group of “United Russia” for the implementation of national projects went to the construction site of three kindergartens in Kazan, which should receive preschool children on September 1.

(Kazan, July 5, Tatar-inform, Dinara Prokopyeva). Three kindergartens in the Privolzhsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan should accept the first preschool children, including toddlers, as early as September 1. This conclusion was reached by the group for monitoring the implementation of national projects of the United Russia party, which inspected the construction of preschool institutions in the capital of Tatarstan.

“Today we have seen three out of 10 kindergartens in Kazan that are being put into operation this year in accordance with national projects. I must say that we looked at two more kindergartens just a few days ago, that is, we looked at half of the kindergartens, we know their condition, ”said Tatyana Larionova, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. She noted that there is every reason to think that kindergartens will open their doors for kids on September 1.

The first stop was a kindergarten-new building on the street. Zavoisky, 27 in the Soviet district of Kazan. Only 50 children will be able to go to it, but all of them are toddlers. The institution will operate as a branch of the existing kindergarten No. 146, which accepts almost 300 children instead of 220 according to the design capacity.

“29 kindergartens are opening this year in the republic, 6,000 places, of which half are for toddlers. We are already systematically moving to children of this age,” said Larionova.

Another kindergarten came to the attention of the working group this morning. It is located in the residential complex “Rodina” in the same district of Kazan. As early as September 1, 260 preschoolers should go to it, and the number of nursery groups is five out of 14. It is planned to instill in children environmental habits, and love for sports through stretching gymnastics, step aerobics and fitball.

The final point of the inspection was a kindergarten in the Privolzhsky district of Kazan on the street. Professor Kamai. It will be located in two adjacent buildings, each of which will accommodate 220 children.

“The most important thing is to involve the entire population in this, so that the population knows that a kindergarten is being built here. On September 1, 220 children will go, and by January 1, 2020, plus 220 more. And all this is one national project – “Demography”. This is important and great, 440 children is a large number,” said the Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A special feature of this institution will be the creation of a multilingual educational environment. Specialists who speak Tatar, Russian, and English will work in the kindergarten. Subsequently, teachers who speak Chinese and Turkish.

“Everything that concerns the study of languages, multilingualism, is relevant just at an early age. The earlier children are immersed in the language environment, the earlier they start learning, the better and more successful the results will be. The fact that multilingual kindergartens are opening is correct and reasonable. This means that then bilingual and multilingual children will enter polylingual schools,” said Albina Nasyrova, director of the Bala City network of multilingual kindergartens. She is also included in the group for monitoring the implementation of national projects.

Summing up the results of the tour of the kindergartens under construction, Larionova voiced the identified problem.

“As for today’s detour, we, unfortunately, found this at all three preschools – there is no clear passportization with a link to the national project,” she said. “Each family should feel that as a result of national projects, life is changing for the better.”

The Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized that parents of future preschool children should understand that the kindergarten is being built as part of the Demography national project.

“Construction of preschool institutions according to national projects has two objectives. Not only the creation of new places in preschool institutions, but also the opportunity for our mothers to go to work earlier, not to lose contact with their workforce. If a mother sends her child to a preschool at two years old, and not at three, as it was before, then this is an opportunity for professional growth, raising the standard of living for her family, ”said Larionova. The contractors promised to replace the passports early next week.

The members of the working group noted that it is not control for the sake of control, but control for the sake of results. Such work provides an opportunity to finalize and improve national projects for the future, since they are designed until 2024 inclusive.

Earlier, the implementation of the national project “Healthcare” was controlled in the 21st polyclinic of Kazan. A separate queue for medical examination, an online appointment with a doctor, and a pool in a city clinic impressed experts from the Federation Council and the State Duma of Russia.

Kindergartens will open in the Krasnodar Territory from 29 June. This decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters by the governor of the Kuban, Veniamin Kondratiev.

“The most discussed issue is the opening of kindergartens. The question is not easy to solve. Of the regions, literally a few have decided to open kindergartens and with fairly strict regulations. But I understand the situation of families with children. Therefore, the only way is to open kindergartens. Life itself dictates conditions to us, and we cannot find alternative measures: parents must go to work, they need to feed their families with something,” the governor emphasized.

Nafiset Tkhakushinova, chief physician of the specialized clinical children’s regional hospital, noted that when opening kindergartens, groups should be reduced – then the risks will be minimized.

www.adv.rbc.ru

“Also, we must limit the stay of children at risk, children who are often ill, children suffering from oncological diseases and broncho-pulmonary systems, and children with diabetes in the early stages should not visit children’s institutions. Based on the current situation and the methodological recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, we must open kindergartens. We need to learn to live with the disease, we understand that it has come to us for a long time,” she said.

www.adv.rbc.ru

The Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Kuban, Maria Potemkina, noted that upon admission to the kindergarten, the parents of the pupils will have to provide a certificate of the epidemiological environment, which confirms the absence of contact with patients with coronavirus over the past 14 days. In addition, children with elevated temperatures will not be allowed into the kindergarten; for this, entrance filters will be organized.

In addition, Vice Governor Anna Minkova added that all kindergarten staff will have to be tested for COVID-19.

As RBC Krasnodar reported, schools and kindergartens in the Kuban began to be transferred to free attendance from March 18, 2020. Until April 10, duty groups in kindergartens were supposed to work in the region. Later, the work of all preschool institutions was suspended.

Read on RBC Pro

In mid-May 2020, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev announced the opening of duty groups in kindergartens. According to the head of the region, such requests came from single-parent families and families in difficult situations.

From the text of the decree of the head of the region, it followed that in the Krasnodar Territory, in exceptional cases, the functioning of duty groups in preschool educational organizations would be organized for the children of employees of organizations or individual entrepreneurs whose work continues during the quarantine period. This list also includes enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, industry and communications, which resumed work on May 12.

In all kindergartens that were opened, where duty groups were opened, it was necessary to organize the work of services that ensure the life of the organization. In such kindergartens, a general cleaning of the premises was carried out using disinfectants according to the viral regime.

On June 8, the administration of Krasnodar announced that 41 duty groups in 18 kindergartens would resume work in the regional center. Among those who could apply for their visit are the children of the fire service, police, ambulance, gas service, as well as children from single-parent families.

Manager

Marianna Kadeeva

Dear parents, welcome to our kindergarten Sun School Olive House.

Our garden is a place where absolutely every child is treated as a small personality, unique and gifted in its own way. Respect for children, attention to their needs – this is what every child receives in our kindergarten. By the example of adults, children learn to treat their friends in the garden in the same way, and the world around them as a whole. It doesn’t matter how old the child is, what he can do or is not yet very good at – in our kindergarten we reveal the potential of each child: in a playful way and not only we give him the opportunity to try himself in sports, and in creativity, and in the natural sciences. We always have a warm atmosphere and, of course, many games and holidays! After all, childhood is so beautiful, so it should be the best and most joyful!

Our team:

  • Julia

Senior teacher of the middle group

    Education: Higher pedagogical.

I have been working with children since childhood: at first I looked after my younger brothers and sisters, and at the age of 15 I started working as a nanny. Already at that time I decided for myself that I wanted to devote my life to working with children. Because with them I feel feel comfortable, easy and at ease. And I sincerely believe in the angelic nature of children: they are pure, sincere, they are real.I want to do something useful for this world, and I decided that by devoting my life to children, I can help them in the stage when the “foundation” is being formed for a future favorable life not only for one kid, but for the whole society, because our future directly depends on children.0612

In my student years, I did an internship at the Juvenile Department, worked as a counselor in children’s camps. I also had a lot of experience working with children with disabilities. Thanks to this experience, I rethought many things, it was this experience that influenced my future life plans.

Immediately after graduating from university, the question of finding a job arose. I had no ambition to go to a traditional school or kindergarten. And I chose the Montessori school, where, in addition to working with children, I took courses in the basics of the Montessori method. At this job, I gained tremendous experience, my idea of raising children has changed significantly.

Then I moved to Moscow and started looking for a new job. I wanted to find a place where employees, children, and parents were pleased. And when I first came for an interview at Sun School, I realized that this is exactly where I want to work: a cozy, homely atmosphere, comfort and tranquility. And over time, a wonderful team, kids, and a delicious aroma of baking were added to this! This is a place where harmony reigns, where you go in the morning with a smile.”

  • Natalia

Senior group teacher (5-7 years old)

    Education: Higher pedagogical

    Experience: over 7 years

Educators are people who always remain children in their hearts. Otherwise, children will not accept, will not let them into their world. The most important thing in my profession is love children, love just like that, for nothing, give them your heart. For me, my profession is an opportunity to constantly be in the world of childhood, in the world of fairy tales and fantasy. You are especially aware of the importance of the profession of an educator when you see the joyful eyes of children, greedily catching my every word, my eyes, eyes ready to contain the world. Looking into these children’s eyes, you understand that they need you, that it is you who lay the sprouts of future knowledge, support them with your love, give the warmth of your heart.

Students try to create their own masterpieces based on the works of great artists. In their creative works, the guys combine different materials and techniques, everyone chooses what he likes.

  • Olga

    Cook

I devoted my whole life to cooking. More than ten years ago, I first got a job as a cook in a kindergarten and since then I can not imagine myself in another place.

It is important for me that food is not only tasty, but also healthy, because health and immunity are formed in early childhood. Therefore, I pay attention to the fact that the children’s food is balanced.

Our menu is very similar to the menu of children’s cafes. For each dish, we came up with an original name – after all, children are also impressed by such little things. And, of course, all our food is also delicious. I like that at Sun School I have the opportunity to approach work creatively, to please the kids with an unusual presentation and form. And sometimes thematic weeks of the developmental program find a response in my dishes, and I think this is quite an interesting solution.

I am proud that children look forward to every meal and often ask for supplements – this is the best compliment to my work.

  • Tatyana, mother of Sasha and Kostya (3 years old)

Thank you! How glad we are to have you!

  • Malikova Zaira, mother of Yasha (2 years 1 month)

We have only been going for a couple of weeks, but we are already delighted with this garden. Everything in it is wonderful: management, educators – they find an approach to any child (if you need to rock in your arms, they will rock you, if you need to stroke it for sleep, they will stroke it). A rich program (even for two-year-olds) – you obviously don’t get bored. An individual menu for a child is easy. English speech and classes with a native speaker – please. Video surveillance – always calm for the child. Ideal interior: large spacious bright rooms, beautiful children’s furniture and toys. Unlike other gardens of this network, there is nothing to complain about in the “Olive House”.
Thank you so much for the opportunity for a child to grow and develop in such a wonderful place!

  • Roman Malisov, father of Miroslava (2 years old) Watch video

When choosing a kindergarten, we paid attention to the new ABC program, which is different from the Montessori program. Our daughter, when we were looking for a kindergarten, was one and a half years old. For us it was an important event. Worried. Came for an open day and loved it. We decided to try for a month. And after a month, they began to observe a colossal development in my daughter. She became very sociable. Of course, it’s bad that the pandemic affected this entire period. And the fact that these two months we did not go to kindergarten. But now the child goes to kindergarten with great pleasure! All the time he remembers the teachers, his friends, says names, speaks English! We were only two years old in July, and she already has such a result, as if she were five. The kindergarten is magnificent, I recommend giving my kids, not to be afraid. Really good staff, good teachers. We really like it.

  • Irina, mother of Milana

    Good afternoon!

We have recently moved and we are very happy to have a kindergarten “Sun School” in our area. We have been familiar with this network for a long time, since our little girl has been visiting them since the age of 2. I can say with confidence that every morning giving my Cutie to kindergarten, I always know that she will be well taken care of, and my husband and I can admire her at any time, watching the video cameras. Now our daughter is 6 years old, she still has a year before school, and it is extremely important for us to get a good preparation for school without any additional classes.

Having been on an excursion in the kindergarten “Olive House”, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised how much everything is done here with love! I was very impressed with the indoor playground. Also, there are 4, not 3 groups, as in our last kindergarten. And for our age – there is a separate group from 6-7 years old. But the most important thing is a positive team and a wonderful manager! My daughter is looking forward to the start of the school year to meet new friends!
Thank you for such a warm welcome ☺

6 private kindergartens in Moscow, which will be interesting even for parents

This year, the kindergarten “Barbarisych” turns 10 years old and during this time it (and its founders) have gone from a small children’s club to five branches of kindergartens in Moscow , Khimki and Vidnoe. Children are accepted here from 1.5 years old, the groups are divided into two age categories: from 1.5 to 3 and from 3 to 6. All classes are according to Paramonova, corresponding to the Federal State Educational Standard of preschool education. Each kindergarten “Barbarisych” is located in a bright room of more than 150 square meters. m, which has separate rooms for sleeping, playing, practicing. Here, children additionally study English, chess, dance and creativity, and also visit a speech therapist. All these classes are already included in the price and are conducted by special teachers.

Even children prepare big projects every month: for example, the theme of last month was emotional intelligence. And in April, Astrid Lindgren already managed to do a week and plant greens on the windowsill while we studied Vitamins.

There is no entrance fee in the kindergarten, which parents are so afraid of, and part of the payment can be returned for missed days. You can go to the kindergarten for half a day, until 13:30, or for the whole day – all branches are open from 7 or 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening (very convenient for working parents!).

By the way, groups work according to the usual schedule on public holidays and vacations. For children with allergies or vegetarians, a separate menu is offered. The network supports the idea of inclusive education in all branches.

Infant school in Khamovniki is a multilingual kindergarten (which means that they teach here in Russian and English). Children study according to two author’s programs: the Russian program “Compact Technologies for Preschoolers” by Irina Maltseva and the English one, based on the method of teaching a foreign language as a native language with a number of subjects in English.

At Infant school, children are taught to work with different sources of information and use them in everyday life, develop logical and critical thinking and form meta-skills. The schedule includes unusual subjects such as active reading, psychological training, logorhythm, emotional logic and a reading club. The author of the program works in the garden.

English classes are held with a native speaker three times a week for 2 hours. In addition, there is a theater and chess, traditional sports and yoga (by the way, also in English!), art and music studios, holidays and vernissages.

By the way, on the site, with the help of a virtual tour, you can take a walk through the dream garden.

Infant school additional services: art studio, karate, Lego and babysitting after 19:00 in case parents are late.

In 2010, Forbes Life included “Our Children – Our School” in the list of the best kindergartens in Moscow. The center still meets all high standards, and also creates a comfortable environment in which every child reveals himself. Children can find themselves in a lot of areas: from needlework and painting lessons to dancing, yoga and wushu.

But the main feature of the center is the English classes, built on the British academic curriculum and the Canadian method of social development. Lessons are in three age groups (no more than 15 children in each). Teachers have time to ask everyone: there is one teacher for five children in the center.

And for those who want to study only English, on Saturdays there is a club for children with a good level of language (10:00-12:00), as well as a studio for beginners (10:00-14:00). And from July 1, a summer club with a flexible schedule will be opened, where you can also study English.

Yes, and don’t worry about your child’s accent or mispronunciation. Every third teacher in the center is a native speaker.

One of the brightest examples of Waldorf pedagogy. There are several full-day groups of different ages and kids who stay only until lunch (by the way, children are given lunch with them in thermoses). And so that being in the kindergarten resembles family life, children are involved in cleaning, doing needlework, household chores, including cooking. Mandatory moments are walks in the forest, work in the beds, planting flowers and more.

The garden is located in a green fenced area, the child will not be deprived of supervision here, but they will be given opportunities for their own experiments. Nothing will be required from the pupil here, his task is to grow and develop in a natural way. By the way, educators here are called gardeners. The Way of Grain also has one of the best private Waldorf schools in Moscow.

School and kindergarten based on another popular method – Montessori. There are two groups for preschoolers: Toddler Community (from 18 months to 3 years old) and Casa dei Bambini (from 3 to 6 years old). And in the garden, at school, education is based on the main principle of the Montessori system: “Help me do it myself.” Here, children learn independence, organization, communicate with native English speakers. In the premises, emphasis is placed on the environmental friendliness of materials, the space is divided into thematic zones, the windows offer a panoramic view of the forest. Montessori manuals are presented in a single copy so that children learn to negotiate with each other and work independently in a team.

You can choose the most suitable operating mode: all day, extended or half day. Susan Stevenson, an international consultant and best-selling author on child psychology, helped Maria Montessori to equip the vast space of the institution, as well as communicate with children according to all the rules of Maria Montessori.

Fairy-tale kindergarten at VDNKh. Instead of buildings, there are five houses, which are located in the park area of the Botanical Garden in the north of Moscow and have their own playgrounds. The private garden is distinguished by the use of natural materials in decoration, several forms of visiting, teaching English using a system-shaped method.

Children’s Embassy lodges are open until 21:00, so parents can easily leave their kids until the evening, because here they will be provided with not only care and attention, but also a variety of leisure activities. There are a lot of developing activities – yoga, Chinese, painting, plastic theater, martial arts, hippotherapy and others. As in Waldorf kindergartens, the Children’s Embassy employs not educators, but gardeners.
