AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Ashburn Village KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that
comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small
class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building
blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we
make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

Interactive Kindergarten (5–6 Years)

Kindergarten is a critical year for young learners. Experienced KinderCare teachers will
tap into your child’s natural curiosity to help get them even more prepared for
elementary school. Our engaging lessons make the most of current technology while
offering plenty of hands-on play and exploration.

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Everyday, I leave my children in the wonderful care of all the exceptional teachers with absolutely no concern, fear, or stress. They are always excited to go and see their friends and teachers. The curriculum and focus on early development and education is above and beyond what I would have ever imagined. • I have been bringing my children to this center for six years. The director and the teachers are amazing! They give tremendous care and it is really nice that my younger son has many of the same teachers that my older so had – there is very little turnover! I recommend this center as often as I can.

I am super excited to join the team at Winwood Brambleton as your Assistant Director! I currently have my B. A. in Integrative Studies/Education from George Mason University and have over 15 years experience in early childhood education ranging from classroom teaching to management experience. My favorite thing about working with children is having the opportunity to watch them grow and develop. It’s inspiring to watch each child grow and know that I was fortunate enough to play a role in their learning and development through the years. I can honestly say that each day with children is a learning experience for me as much as it is for them!

I reside in Ashburn with my husband and three wonderful children who will also be attending Winwood Brambleton with me! Ava will be in the Junior Kindergarten program, Aubrey in the Preschool 2 program, and Austin in the Infant program! On the weekends, you can typically find me on the soccer field or gymnastics competitions with my oldest, but always enjoy relaxing with my family and starting new adventures!

Accreditations

NAEYC Accreditation

Every child deserves access to high-quality early learning experiences. NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) has set 10 standards for early childhood programs that can help families make the right choice when they are looking for a child care center, preschool, or kindergarten. The standards and criteria are also the foundation of the NAEYC Accreditation system for early childhood programs.
To earn NAEYC Accreditation, schools must go through an extensive self-study and quality-improvement process, followed by an on-site visit by NAEYC Assessors to verify and ensure that the program meets each of the ten program standards, and hundreds of corresponding individual criteria. NAEYC-accredited programs are always prepared for unannounced quality-assurance visits during their accreditation term, which lasts for five years. In the 30 years since NAEYC Accreditation was established, it has become a widely recognized sign of high-quality early childhood education. More than 7,000 programs are currently accredited by NAEYC—less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools, and kindergartens nationally achieve this recognition.

San Francisco Tripster Tour

During the tour we will walk through three iconic areas of San Francisco: Mission, Castro and Haight Ashbury. I will show you a non-touristic city, but the way the locals see it. Record shops, second hand stores for every taste, street art, cozy coffee houses, a park overlooking the Downtown and places where hippies lived – this is just a part of our program.

29 traveler reviews

Program

  • We’ll meet in Mission, San Francisco’s Mexican neighborhood. Here I will tell you about the local street art. After all, you will definitely not see such a large number of graffiti as in Mission! If we get hungry, we will eat the best burrito in the city in a Mexican diner (it is so tasty that you will dream about it at night)! And if you want spiritual food, let’s go to an unusual bookstore. During a walk along the Mission, we will literally meet record stores, second-hand shops and shops of local designers at every step. You won’t find a better place to buy unusual souvenirs!
  • After the Mission walk, we will have a picnic in Mission Dolores Park. Imagine a huge clearing overlooking the palm trees and downtown! So that we can see the skyscrapers in all the details, I will take binoculars with me.
  • Then we will go to the Castro area – the main gay neighborhood in America. Once upon a time, emigrants from the Scandinavian countries settled in this quiet and rather boring part of the city. But in the seventies of the last century, Castro literally in a couple of years turned into the center of the struggle for human rights. I will tell you about the famous politician Harvey Milk and how he changed American society.
  • Then we will take a trolley bus and drive to the legendary area of Haight Ashbury, where the first hippies appeared many years ago. We will walk along the streets, where in 1967 about one hundred thousand “flower children” gathered to celebrate love and freedom. I will explain who these people were, what they fought for and how they shocked the world. By the way, the famous bands Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead and singer Janis Joplin lived in this area. If you haven’t heard anything about them yet, don’t worry, I’ll tell you everything!
  • Our walk will end in the famous Golden Gate Park. You will learn how the famous “tribal gathering” of hippies took place in this park half a century ago. If we want, we will take a break in the Japanese Tea Garden. To create it in the 19th century, thousands of sakura, birds and even goldfish were ordered directly from the Land of the Rising Sun! If the tea garden is not to your liking, then we can climb to the roof of the building, from which you can see the whole city!
  • Finally, I will advise you bars where you can listen to jazz for free in the evening. And I’ll also give a list of other “secret” places that most guidebooks don’t have a single line about.

As a result, you will understand what the real San Francisco consists of, look at it through the eyes of a local resident and feel like one of them, imbued with the inspiring spirit of creativity and freedom and add to your list of your favorite places in the city!

We had a wonderful time. Tatiana is an excellent tour guide. A lot of impressions from the districts of the city, the history of San Francisco, past and present. Thanks Tatyana!

more

The excursion with Tanya seemed to me and my sister to be a meeting with our old friend! Very nice, educated and knowledgeable guide. Tanya showed us an alternative side of San Francisco, off the beaten track and told us a lot of interesting facts about life in this amazing city.
One hundred percent recommend Tanya as the best guide! We will definitely use her services on our next visit!

more

Everything was great! Tatyana arranged the tour according to our wishes and plans, and we not only learned a lot of interesting things about the city, but also were able to look into a couple of shops and shop “in the topic of the tour”.

more

Learned a lot of interesting things about life in San Francisco, spent the day in a pleasant company! Tatyana is a journalist by profession and has been living and working in San Francisco for several years. She has a broad outlook, and listening to her is a great pleasure! , Tatyana was attentive to the request to adapt the program for my 6-year-old daughter so that she, too, was interested, and organized the day in the best way! I recommend this tour to visit not only adults, but also children.

more

We really enjoyed the tour. Tatyana showed places where there really are no tourists. We visited different neighborhoods of San Francisco and were able to feel how this city can be different. Tatyana showed us the place from where the panorama of the city opens in full view. The view is much better than from Twin Peaks. And we were there alone! I also liked the fact that during the tour the route can be adjusted. Tatyana takes into account the wishes and possibilities of her clients. You can turn to her for advice, and she will make every effort to fulfill your request. I asked for recommendations for a seafood restaurant. She suggested a great place right on the tour route. If we were walking on our own, we would definitely pass by. You need to know these places. And we are very grateful to Tatyana for her knowledge and love for this city.

more

A wonderful tour during which we got acquainted with almost all the sights of San Francisco. Tanya is a very interesting person and storyteller. We were on an excursion with three children, Tanya was able to adapt the route and the presentation of information for them. We learned a lot about the life of the city and its inhabitants: about social problems, education, weather, the mentality of Americans, everyday concerns of ordinary citizens. An excellent walk that left a pleasant warm impression of the city. Tanya also gave us a lot of valuable tips on places to visit on our own with children, which we enjoyed using! Thank you Tanya!!!

more

This is the second time Tanya and I walked around the Northern Fleet. This time my mother was with us, and Tanya organized the tour so that her mother would see a lot of interesting things, but not too tired, and so that we, who walked along this route a year ago, would be interested. We discussed/changed the route along the way, stopped for lunch, jumped into an Uber, chatted and laughed. Tanya is an excellent storyteller, knows the history of the city well, knows how to notice interesting little things and is not greedy to share them. In addition to a wonderful excursion, we got another walking route in SF, which we walked on our own the next day!
PS: be sure to ask Tanya for the parking address in Chinatown with a view of a million (or two)

more

Tanya surprisingly easily combines a story about the city itself with answers to everyday questions about life in San Francisco. A very bright and convenient route with many places that we would not have noticed if we walked there ourselves. The tour will definitely appeal to those who want to see not only the places that can be found in the guidebook, but also discover something fresh and new in San Francisco.

An interesting story about the history of different parts of the city. Interesting about the history and culture of hippies, street art, cult musicians. We learned a lot of interesting things about the people of San Francisco. We spent a very interesting day with a very interesting person! Thank you, Tanya)

The tour was a success, thanks to Tatiana. I immediately asked Tatyana not to overload the tour with excessive historical information, but to talk more about everyday life in this city. It turned out not so much an excursion as a walk with a pleasant, erudite companion. It was interesting.

Very good tour. We learned a lot of interesting things not only about San Francisco itself, but also about how Americans live, like-hacks for travelers around the USA, all sorts of interesting facts about the life of the guide himself. We were a bit unlucky with the weather and Tatyana easily figured out how to modify the tour to make it comfortable. The next day after the tour, our backpacks were stolen and Tatyana did not leave us in trouble and helped resolve the difficult situation. Special thanks to her for this. I highly recommend this guide, you will have a great time and learn a lot of interesting and new things for yourself.

I am not a great craftsman to write reviews, but I want to note that I really liked the tour. Tatyana is an excellent storyteller and is superbly familiar with the city. I strongly recommend to everyone who decides to visit this wonderful city

We spent a wonderful day with Tanya, for which many thanks to her and Tripster! Tanya is a very interesting person, a great conversationalist, it was thanks to her that our stay in San Francisco left vivid memories and we really traveled all over the city! Do not even think about it, you need to take this tour, you will not regret it!

Highly recommended to anyone who loves cycling. The tour requires good physical preparation. Golden Gate Bridge, bay, views of Sausolito, swing on top of one of the hills. Everything is very cool.

It was a real bike adventure! Tatyana is an excellent guide, a good storyteller, a very pleasant girl, a wonderful companion on this mini-trip. Well thought out route and every detail of the trip. It will definitely not be boring on the way. A million words of gratitude for a wonderful day and for the emotions that I received. It will certainly be one of the brightest impressions of San Francisco. And a couple of tips for future travelers: be sure to use sunscreen, even if it seems like there is no sun. And also, if there are even minimal doubts about self-confidence as a cyclist, be sure to wear a helmet, as there are many cars, pedestrians and other bicycles on the way – in order to avoid unpleasant situations that can ruin this magical day!
