Annapolis – DreamYachtCharter Russia

Day 1: Rock Hall is a quaint fishing town and a great place to travel. It offers many marinas, shops, restaurants, and a burgeoning artists’ settlement. Overlooking Rock Hall and the Chesapeake Bay, Waterman’s Crab House is well known for its first-class stewed crabs, among other delicious dishes. Swan Creek has long been a top destination for cruising yachts due to its countryside beauty. This well-sheltered bay, north of Rock Hall Harbor, offers excellent anchorage.

Day 2: Baltimore Harbor includes all of the water west of the National Aquarium in Baltimore and the Rusty Scupper Restaurant. You’ll find plenty to do and see in Inner Harbor’s inner bay, all within walking distance. Locals and visitors alike can’t help but enjoy so many great restaurants, cultural events and exciting nightlife.

Day 3: Head to the Chester River, the second largest river on the east bank. Much of the river’s shoreline is closely bordered by countryside and grand estates. The width of the river at its widest point is almost 3 miles, then the river gradually narrows to about a quarter of a mile at Chestertown, with good traffic in a fenced channel. After Easter Neck Island, which is a nature reserve, the Chester River branches into four wide branches, each of which is attractive in its own way.

Day 4: The quiet wharves of Mill Creek and Whitehall Bay are located between the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and the River Severn. Be sure to pay attention to the winding channel with steep banks. These places have the most convenient anchorages, and there is also the famous Cantler’s restaurant, known for some of the best stewed crabs in the region.

Day 5: Annapolis is the capital of Maryland and is considered the yachting capital of America. You can dock, anchor or moor to a buoy in the harbor and then explore Annapolis, a small town full of history, quaint streets, shops and restaurants. The US Naval Academy is also located here: a must-see place.

Day 6: Another unusual seaside village, Saint Michel, is located on an idyllic peninsula. It became an important shipbuilding center, best known for its Baltimore Clippers, the fastest sailing ship of its time. Today, the city is better known as a popular yachting center and the site of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The museum houses the largest collection of Chesapeake Bay artifacts, fine art and original ships.

Day 7: Head to Wye River on the east bank. The arms of the river span Wye Island and it has 21 miles of coastline. There are no raw materials or utilities on the island. Isolated anchorages and rich historical heritage are the main attractions. Stately old houses, many dating back to colonial times, line the banks at every turn.

Day 8: Annapolis is the capital of Maryland and is considered the yachting capital of America. The Sahnieser Yachting Center has a full service marina and shipyard. It is located in the city center and has a swimming pool, restaurant, free bikes, grocery delivery and more.

Day 9: Sail to Deltaville and visit the Doziers Regatta Point Yachting Center. The facility features reinforced concrete floating docks, a southern-style clubhouse and complimentary vehicles. From the yacht marina, take a boat across the bay to get to the train restaurant, or head into town (about 3 miles) to check out other local establishments.

Day 10: The Ocean Marine Yacht Center is located just half a mile south of the zero mile marker on the inland waterway in Portsmouth, Virginia. In addition to being easy to find, this new complex also features a state of the art harbor with all the amenities, an indoor storage area, a fabrication shop and a workshop for boats of all sizes. Hungry? There are many excellent restaurants within minutes of the marina.

Day 11: Bay Creek is the perfect combination of elegant homes, fine restaurants, a world-class golf resort, and a state-of-the-art beach club and fitness center – coastal living at its best. Here, “getting away from everything” means moving closer to a life that you could only imagine before. Bay Creek is a true haven with historic Cape Charles on the Chesapeake Bay just minutes from Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

Day 12: Chesapeake Bay Marina at Tides Inn Resort complements the beauty and serenity of a secluded harbor and provides world-class resort amenities. Located on Carters Creek, 11 miles from Windmill Point, the marina accommodates up to 24 yachts of various sizes.

Day 13: The canal leading to the Onankok shipyard is very winding, but don’t worry – it’s deep enough to be easy to navigate. There is no grocery store within walking distance, but you can arrange with the Harbor Master to deliver everything you need. You can be provided with a list of restaurants in the city, where you will also find many shops and art galleries.

Day 14: Somers Cove Marina in Chrisfield has a pool, picnic tables, BBQ and golf program. If you need to stock up on groceries, there is a grocery store one mile from here. Tours of Janes Island State Park and boat trips to Smith Island and Tangier Island are guaranteed to be the best time here.

Day 15: St. Leonard Creek is considered one of the most beautiful places on the Patuxent River. This bay, five miles long, lies on the north bank of the river, and is a mixture of swamps, a range of hills, and steep, wooded cliffs. At the mouth of Jones Creek is Vera’s White Sands Beach Club. Decorated with treasures from the South Sea, collected from international voyages, Vera is a wonderful marina that welcomes all sea travelers.

Day 16: Returning to Solomons Island, where the local economy was once supported by a fish cannery, and now its mainstay is tourism. Solomons remains a fishing village, with many work boats and an active charter fishing fleet, but it also offers many restaurants, shops and holiday events.

Day 17: Depart for Oxford, which is located on the East Bank and is bordered on three sides by the Thread Avon River and Town Creek. Oxford charm is about a quiet little town where the townspeople come across as good old friends. The locals work hard to maintain a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and boast a convenient shopping area full of shops, restaurants and attractions.

Day 18: Cambridge is about 13 miles from the mouth of the Choptank River. It was founded in 1684 and is one of the oldest cities in Maryland. It was founded in 1684 and is one of the oldest cities in Maryland. Graceful 19th-century houses lining Cambridge’s shaded streets hail from a time when the city was an economic and social hub. This legacy is also proudly preserved in its maritime museums: the Richardson Maritime Museum, Meredith House with its Heritage Museum and Gardens, Skipjack Nathan, Sailwinds Park and Choptank River Fishing Wharf. There is plenty of room in Cambridge Bay for those looking for a sheltered place to stay.

Day 19: Herrington Harbor South Marina and Herrington Harbor North Marina are located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay and offer overnight stays, several restaurants, cocktail lounges and a wide range of amenities. Due to the popularity of Herrington Harbor South, it’s best to book in advance. For a great beachfront dinner in a stylish yet casual atmosphere, we recommend Mango’s Bar & Grill.

Day 20: Galesville’s quiet harbor on the West River is the perfect place for the penultimate day of a Dream Yacht trip. Spend your well deserved time relaxing and enjoying the region’s natural beauty.

Day 21: Head to Annapolis Bay Charters, discussing the adventures of the past week. You will arrive in five or seven hours. And after leaving, you will immediately want to come back here again.
