City in development. Oleg Fursov spoke about which investment projects were given the green light > Rubric in Samara

Head of Samara Oleg Fursov spoke about new projects for which he managed to attract investors, about a serious decision that affects the university, school and kindergarten at once, about plans to restore the boulevard on Stara Zagora street.

Housing issues

The head of the city said that an investor had been found who would develop the 66th quarter in the Kirovsky district. It is still built up with dilapidated two-story buildings, which were erected by captured Germans. New houses no higher than five floors should appear in the quarter.

It is assumed that the project will be implemented by renovation. That is, residents will be temporarily relocated from old houses, and after that they will be able to return to new apartments in their native, but already partially renovated quarter. And so gradually, step by step, the whole territory will be transformed. And “extra” apartments, of course, anyone can buy.

Another new residential development project provides for the integrated development of a site in the area of Alma-Atinskaya Street and Moscow Highway. The investor has already expressed his interest in the development of this territory. The area is also attractive for large trading companies.

Snow to melt, garbage to burn

Recently, a memorandum was signed with an investor company to support the construction of a waste incineration plant. The mayor recalled that for many years there had been talk about the need for such an enterprise. It will be loaded by Samara, but the facility itself will be located outside the city limits. The start of construction is tentatively scheduled for 2017.

Oleg Fursov added that the benefits from the construction of a snow-melting plant have also been calculated, for which an investor has also been found. This will make it possible to free up the sites that are now set aside for snow ranges, and more quickly cope with the vagaries of winter weather.

Multi-pass task

The process of merging the Samara Academy of State and Municipal Administration and the International Market Institute is nearing completion.

— We retained students and teachers of the academy who wanted to move to a new educational institution. This association cost the city a minimum amount, – said the mayor.

According to him, only the state fee had to be paid.

And this, of course, is nothing compared to the benefits that the municipality will receive. The unification of universities will allow the building on the street to be returned to the school education system. Clinical, 86, previously given under one of the buildings of SAGMU. Once there, by the way, the school was located – No. 75. According to Oleg Fursov, there are plans to transfer the building to the existing secondary educational institution – as an additional building. 500 children will be able to study there.

The main building of SASMU (96, Stara Zagora St.) in the future will begin to settle in the branch of the Education Development Center located in the Industrial District, which is engaged in the retraining of educators and teachers. And a kindergarten will return to the place of this branch.

Will restore the boulevard

Stara Zagora. According to Oleg Fursov, the restoration of the boulevard will be carried out in stages over several years. This season, work will affect the site from the street. XXII Party Congress to Novo-Vokzalnaya.

According to the mayor of Samara, part of the work will be done with extrabudgetary funds. Patrons are invited, for example, to install benches at their own expense, to pay for part of the tiling work. And specially installed signs will inform about their contribution to a good cause. Oleg Fursov, Head of Samara types of jobs. Our task is to completely dismantle all the kiosks there, to bring the facades of houses, advertising structures, signboards into proper shape.
