Meet Our Staff
Christina Elizabeth Dismuke, Director

I have been working with children for over 30 years. My favorite part of working with children is making a difference in their lives. Everyday a child or parent greets me with a hug, and that brightens my day. Being able to laugh and be a big kid is a great environment to be in.

Working with children has always been my passion. I have been in childcare for 8 years, and I must say that i would not have life any other way. I take my job very serious and i strive to make a difference in as many lives as I possibly can. Everything about childcare is for me. Difficult to get to, but generally beautiful
With friends
Beautiful garden on the outskirts of the city – traveled with friends by car, with public transport everything is difficult. The garden is extremely spectacular in summer time, I think the golden autumn is also good here. A lot of local flora, there are hints of the exotic in the greenhouse. I liked the rose garden and medicinal garden. In general, for an amateur, it’s definitely not worth taking a couple of hours away from exploring the city ..

Beautiful modern natural garden

Perfect to meet garden owners today on our garden tour visit. Sylvie and Patrick have created a stunning garden set over four acres. The garden around the house has a wonderful relief hedge in the waves, lovely flower beds and a unique hotel. The hotel is located in squares with flowers and herbs, an interesting use of large herbs and ponds. Lots of plants to buy and on return a beautiful book full of garden photos at All Seasons. It is easy to walk everything to the apartment.

Inventive and modern garden, great fun!

The end of a summer visit to this elegant garden meant most of the color had drained from the Meadow Garden Museums, but still the borders of orange juice, yellow and Gold were at their peak. This hotel deserves not only a one time visit, but also a repeat visit from Spring to Autumn, it offers home gardeners endless inspiration and great ideas.

Beautiful and inventive gardens
With friends
I visited this garden with a professional gardening group. We were on a garden tour of northern France. I must say that this was one of my favorite gardens we visited. There was such a color even in mid-September and the kind of plants used were beautiful. It was luxurious yet calm feeling and was a pleasure to visit.

Elegant, Cool gardens

Le Jardin Plume was beautiful. There is a stunning, picturesque garden; tranquility, with a shady green garden; magnificent, majestic ‘feather’ gardens and many other places to admire and amaze. In good condition inspired, including one-off wavy barrier. We found it a very peaceful place to enjoy. There are also enticing nursery plants, unusual things that will pass the time! The owner was friendly and obviously very knowledgeable about the plants for sale. We really enjoyed.

A must see garden in Normandy – my favorite garden in France!

A beautifully landscaped garden near Rouen with strong against problems, spices and wild style perennials. There is a simple Laguna mirror and Paragon cut and uncut grass in the orchard with apple trees. In the eastern part of the Spring Garden house, on the south side of the Summer Garden and in the western part of the Autumn Garden. The potager has flowers that are in bloom most of the season. Visit the kindergarten, which is impressive!

Worth a trip
For two
In the middle of some nice country south of the N31 some way east of Rouen near Auzouville-sur-Ry. No designated parking, only on the side of the road (it was decent, at least for buses and a few cars) – I suspect the garden always has visitors, but rarely too crowded. There is certainly enough interest to keep someone busy loves gardens but not that knowledgeable but this is especially a garden for a real gardener/plant person (I believe he excelled in one of Monty Don’s garden programs). Different neighborhoods have a certain theme, sometimes quite trendy – we certainly got a few ideas for new things we could do in our own garden. While we were there, as well as the French, there was also another English speaking couple and a small bus group from Italy, so it must be fairly well known. This is far north in France, many plants will thrive in England and my wife has had enough of some – there is a good selection, a few unusual ones, at reasonable prices, but selling the plant does not seem to be the main goal. There is no cafe here, but toilets are on site.

One of the best gardens in the world!

It doesn’t look like you’re in the middle elsewhere, but it’s worth finding Le Jardin Plume as it’s lovely. A contemporary garden that is significant, inspiring and utterly charming. Originality style in good condition delicious. All the plants we bought from the small nursery run by the owners were excellent.

Let’s talk about it?! There will be no debate in this article, we will present several opinions on the topic. And parents, educational psychologists and primary school teachers will speak out. Why are they here? Now we’ll tell you.
Trustee
According to statistics, the services of nannies in Russia are not trusted. VTsIOM reported on the results of the survey, the statistics are adamant: 66% of young parents in the country are sure that children are better off in kindergarten. And only 3% of Russians are ready to entrust the upbringing of babies to nannies.
This does not detract from the merits of professional nannies and the quality of the services they provide, says Marina Kazeeva from the Moscow region: “Irina is a former teacher-psychologist of a kindergarten, friends recommended her as a nanny. Of course, we survived the stage of distrust, but the result surpassed all expectations.
- Minimum stress for the family and the child. Leaving for work, we know that Danya will sleep in his bed in his usual surroundings at home, eat what I have prepared.
- Many times less acute respiratory infections, SARS and other seasonal diseases. And if they happen, a nanny is always with him.
- Maximum attention to the child. They play with him, communicate, study. With him, and only with him. Daniil, unlike his peers, began to speak early, by the age of five he began to read, at six he was fluent in capital letters.
Are there any disadvantages? Perhaps one thing: I give almost half of my income for babysitting services. But I work and, without losing my qualifications, I build a career. This is my choice, with which everyone does not have to agree.”
Psychologist Natalya Ivleva from the Lantern Center for Positive Psychology insists that a child should not be sent to kindergarten before the age of four, but leaving in the care of a nanny is also not an option: “Parents for a child are the only people whom he unconditionally accepts in own life. He is morally and emotionally attached to his mother and father. The first three years are especially, and then the child is covered by a crisis. The crisis of three years only seems to be something ephemeral. In fact, this is a difficult stage for both the baby and the parents. And during this period, the attention of the closest is very important – not nannies, but moms and dads. I had a case in practice when the parents brought the child to the session and complained that the nanny had left for treatment, and the child did not perceive them, did not obey, ignored them. And the boy is 2.5, in a year he managed to become attached to a person who was nearby in games, in illnesses, always. And it was not easy to go through the acceptance of this fact, because they hired a nanny not with malicious intent, but to work and close household issues.
Private kindergarten
There are a lot of private kindergartens now. The pandemic and the transition to online have made it possible to expand the range of services provided by private preschool institutions. This, in turn, affected the cost reduction, new programs and methods appeared.
“We went to a private kindergarten in 2020, our daughter was 2.5 years old. Then a co-financing program appeared, and the price for a private kindergarten did not exceed then and now the cost of the state one, ”says Yulia, a resident of Moscow. A little more than a year has passed, and here are the advantages she puts at the forefront, recommending sending children to kindergarten:
- “Immune adaptation. Yes, the child will get sick, but if the kindergarten follows all the prescribed recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, often take the children for walks, vitaminize, choosing the menu, it is realistic to reduce the number of sick days.
- Individual menu. In state kindergartens, such a service is provided, but you will be given a non-transparent hint that no one will cook for your child personally. In private kindergartens, they take into account previous diseases, the recommendations of allergists and pediatricians, they cook only for a couple.
- Socialization. I am sure that a child should communicate with peers, be able to make friends, learn to work in a team.
- Getting used to the rules and the need to follow them. After kindergarten, the child will have to move to primary school, he can learn to read and write at home, but getting used to the format of classes and the fact that you are not alone in the class can only be helped in kindergarten.
Primary school teacher of the “Academic Gymnasium” Antonyuk Daria supports the opinion that children adapt better to life in society thanks to attending a kindergarten: “My graduates are already studying at universities, they are different and very talented guys. According to my observations, those children who attended kindergarten are more prepared for the first grade. They have an understanding of work in a group, an awareness of the importance of collective activity. The first social contacts are being built and one’s “I” is being formed! Unique “I”. Kindergarten can be neglected in exceptional, in my opinion, cases.”
As a conclusion
Kindergarten or nanny – the choice is yours. The task of parents is to choose the option that guarantees your child a harmonious development, the preservation of physical and emotional health. Therefore, before making a choice, you have to do a lot of research, in the truest sense of the word, work and choose the best personal mentor for your child. Or the best kindergarten.
