Welcome to Childtime in Southfield, MI! My name is Melissa and I am the school director.
I have a master’s of science degree in early childhood studies and more than 10 years of experience in early childhood. Whether it’s providing care for Infants or participating in activities in our Preschool programs, I take pride in being a part of the life and development of every child we care for. Our staff has 150 years of combined experience in the field.
We value families and offer a variety of opportunities for them to be involved. We also offer parent-teacher conferences twice a year to discuss developmental progress in a more personal setting.

Education: M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Walden University; B.S. in Child Development from Central Michigan University
Certifications: First Aid and CPR Infant, Child, and Adult; Coursework Completed Towards Teaching Adults; Post Masters Certificate
My passion for learning and making a positive impact in the lives of young children make being a director at Childtime a dream job! I enjoy watching our children grow and develop. Establishing and maintaining a relationship with our families and community neighbors is very important to me.
