Our Mission
Our Mission

Princeton Daycare Center, A village Preschool Company is committed to providing quality affordable childcare. Our mission is to offer a stimulating and developmentally appropriate program where children are taught values, the importance of a positive self-image, independence, and how to constructively express emotions. Children will have the freedom to explore their untapped potential, as they learn in a creative, educational, clean and safe environment, which promotes and encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth. We believe in helping children build a concrete foundation for a successful start in life.

We truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child and that parents are their children’s first and most important teachers. We understand the effect that home and school have on a child and therefore welcome the consistent involvement from our families. Allowing children to understand and be involved in their community is a rewarding experience. At Princeton Daycare center, children are also taught the importance of unity in the community and have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of events throughout the Princeton community.

We strive to be a deeply rooted center that gives back to the community because we understand that there is strength in numbers. “It takes a village”

Adult Day Care – PSRC (Princeton Senior Resource Center)

Day care provides a safe setting for those unable to remain at home alone during the day and also provides respite for those who must care for them. Day care can enable people to remain at home for a longer period and delay institutionalization. When choosing a day care center, it is important to visit a few before deciding which one is best for your family member. Adult day care centers have different costs, philosophies, goals, and physical amenities. Centers often update or modify daily schedules, meals, transportation abilities, costs, and staffing. Please contact individual centers for this information. Adult day centers are licensed by the State of NJ Department of Health; reports can be found at http://nj.gov/health/healthfacilities/index.shtml

My travels. City of Princeton, New Jersey. Part 2 More precisely, it will be a “town”, given its size and number of inhabitants.

The area of Princeton is about 48 square kilometers. In order to better imagine this, I can compare it, say, with the cities of the Moscow region: Princeton is slightly larger than Mytishchi with its 35 sq. km, but slightly smaller than Balashikha with its 63 sq. km.

But at the same time, approximately 25,000 people live in Princeton. In Mytishchi – attention! – the population is almost 10 times larger, 222 thousand, and in Balashikha – as much as 20, there are generally under half a million people!

American towns like Princeton are what I call puppet towns. They always give me the impression of some absolutely fabulous city, which is designed for children, not adults.

Princeton is very clean and tidy, the infrastructure is well developed, there are good roads unlike New York, there is a lot of greenery, parks and squares, small cafes, nice houses and very friendly people.

Life is calmer and less hectic there.

I was taking a picture of a park, and the picture was of a girl who easily did a back flip from a standing position.

The low number of floors and houses full of flowers make this place incredibly cozy and attractive.

Showcase of one of the cafes, cutely decorated with paper doves.

Another big plus of Princeton is its safety and low crime rate.

This is most likely due to a fairly high standard of living and no less high intellectual level, which is not surprising for such a university town.

People here are very proud that Albert Einstein lived and worked in Princeton. Well, at the same time they earn money on his behalf.

By the way, the only Einstein house-museum in America is open in Princeton, where he lived for 20 years.

In addition to the university, there are other important institutions in the city. For example, the Institute for Basic Research, the theological seminary, the plasma physics laboratory, the research center of the German concern Siemens, one of the world’s leading financial information agencies, Dow Jones, the pharmaceutical company BMS, etc.

Bookshops here are as crowded as cafés.

From an architectural point of view, there is also something to see here. What are the buildings belonging to the university worth alone!

But there are also interesting buildings outside the university.

Public library building.

Christian Center building.

Trinity Church, the largest Episcopal church in the state.

Arch overlooking the store.

One of the most photographed buildings on Nassau Street, the city’s main street.

It has some very doll-like colors and really does not look like any other building in the city.

In general, it seems that only young people live in the city.

Incidentally, Princeton is consistently ranked as one of the best small towns in the US to live and work. So, for example, in 2005 he took 15th place.

A bit of Princeton evening.

One way or another, a huge number of outstanding people are connected with this city: politicians, economists, scientists, actors, musicians, sportsmen. Surely most of them were related to the university, worked or taught there, but there were also those who were born in Princeton or simply lived there.

In addition to the already named Einstein , among the well-known names I could name Vladimir Zworykin . Russian by origin, he is considered an American engineer and one of the founders of modern television. At school, of course, we were not told that during the Civil War in Russia he was almost shot by the Red Army, and only the arrival of Kolchak’s troops saved his life. After the surrender of the Kolchak government, Zworykin left for New York, where he remained to live and work. I do not know if he worked in Princeton, but he is buried there.

Two presidents of America lived in Princeton: Woodrow Wilson and Grover Cleveland , the latter and buried there with his wife and daughter.

Stalin’s daughter lived here Svetlana Alliluev a.

Francis Scott Fitzgerald studied at Princeton University from 1913-1917 . Here, in 1939, the Nobel laureate, writer Thomas Mann, who emigrated from Nazi Germany, taught. In 1948, another Nobel laureate, a major English-speaking poet, was elected a member of the scientific council of the Institute for Fundamental Research.0107 Thomas Eliot . Well, after the Second World War, this Institute was headed by an American physicist, “the father of the atomic bomb” Robert Oppenheimer .

Ironically, Princeton is said to be the hometown of the fictional character Indiana Jones, created by director George Lucas.

And it is in this city that the series “Doctor House” takes place.

We finished our walk in order to leave the city before dark, although we did not want to leave it at all.

We got into the car and drove off, and the high Gothic tower of Princeton University looked after us for a long time, as if it did not want to leave us.

Well… at least the feeling was mutual.
