At the same time, America is beautifully portrayed in Hollywood films as the country of the “golden dream”. Outwardly, life in it is beautiful, bright, modern, but it is all kind of artificial, ostentatious. There, too, there are problems and, moreover, considerable ones. For example, the country has a rather high crime rate (robbery is in the lead), there are numerous cases of delays in paying salaries, and a lot of jobs are low-paid. If we compare our problems with the American ones, they are identical, only the levels of their occurrence and solutions are different. But in general, as the famous song says:

“There is the same blue sky
And the same difficult life.
Maybe it’s happier and richer there,
Brighter colors and warmer summers,
But they also cry from pain there,
They also give birth to children in pain . .. ”

American history is already 250 years old, but it has never been frozen. The States are not characterized by stagnation, they are in permanent development. They went through difficult times when women, farmers did not have the right to vote, when there was racial discrimination. These social flaws were eliminated there after 150 years of their statehood. We are only 25 years old and we still have a long way to go. The main thing is not to create problems for yourself, but to take the best from the experience of others. And there is a lot to learn from the USA!

My advice, if you have such an opportunity, do not hesitate to hit the road across the ocean, you will not regret it. The states are worth visiting!

Some of you, paraphrasing M. Isakovsky, will pessimistically say that “we don’t need an overseas coast, nor America, we don’t need and we don’t need a foreign sun, and we don’t need a foreign land!”.
