Parent Testimonials

I would like to take the time and recognize the truly wonderful school, Canyon Creek Daycare. For our Landon, we have seen major achievements in his learning. This includes reading, counting and knowing his letters. His teacher, Ms. Veena is phenomenal and teaches skills each kid will need as they make the next step to kindergarten. She is exceptional at teaching life skills as well, which includes manners, respect and confidence building. His class will have a great advantage when entering kindergarten that many kids will not, as we have personally seen with some of Landon’s peers not in Canyon Creek. The owner, Kidada Mitchell has also put a wonderful staff in place. They are very responsive, and truly care for the wellbeing of each and every child.

I fully recommend Canyon Creek as the experience for us has been nothing short of amazing! ~ Adam and Danielle H.

I would like to thank you for taking wonderful care of our son Kingston. He loves being there and his teachers are phenomenal!  ~ Ashley C., J.D.

We love and appreciate every single one of you beyond any expectation we thought possible. ~ Ryan S.

We value the love, care and support that the staff shows to Eloise each and everyday. She is greeted each morning with a smile and welcomed by her teachers with a hug. She lights up when entering the classroom and as a parent that is the greatest feeling. We are rest assured each day that Eloise is taken care of in our absence. ~ Meg F

Thank you for having such a huge role in making our little man the sweet kid he is! ~ Brandon S.

We love the pictures, videos, and regular updates on Brightwheel. It makes me feel like I know whats going on with my kiddos all day long, and that makes this mommy feel so much better! ~ Jen F.

I am highly impressed with the overall quality and care. ~ Bryan W.

Love the atmosphere and Christian foundation! ~ Jessica S.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Campbell Rd KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks-1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1-2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2-3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3-4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4-5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5-12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5-12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Music Explorers™ (2-4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2-4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with
the Spanish language. Music, games, children’s Spanish literature, and other tools give
children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop
vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers,
colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally
during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but
what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to
make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and
more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do
amazing things!

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • We sincerely want to thank the Campbell Rd KinderCare for the wonderful experience that they have provided to our son. “Family” is truly the right word to describe the way that this center is run. As a new mom, entrusting my three-month-old son to another’s hands was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever had to do, but we could not have been more blessed to have found this KinderCare center. The entire staff made that place my son’s second home.

From the warm morning greetings to every single caring and attentive person there, I always felt at ease knowing that our son was in good hands. The staff helped our family through his development and taught him great values along the way. They gave us several phone calls and always kept us informed of things we needed to know. Throughout the three years of my son’s time here, I was always impressed by the great staff and the management’s ability to find and hire great people. Our son loved it there and still talks about his old school, his friends, and teachers.

The most difficult part of relocating to a different state was having to leave the Campbell Rd KinderCare! My husband and I both agree that it will be difficult to ever find a place with more love and care offered than at Campbell Rd KinderCare. Thank you for everything–we will always come to visit and support your school! Everyone went above and beyond their responsibilities, and created a loving yet disciplined environment perfect for helping us raise our child.

    Cari C. – KinderCare Parent
  • We sincerely appreciate the wonderful experience that the Campbell Rd KinderCare family has provided to our son. We returned to China four months ago, and our son really misses the staff and his school friends. Thank you again for your love and care for our son. We wish you all the best in the future!

    Xiaoyan T. – KinderCare Parent
  • I always imagined going back to work after having my son would be the most difficult transition period, but KinderCare Campbell made it smooth and easy! Miss Liz and Miss Amy along with the other teachers have helped answer any questions I have about my child’s attendance.

At two months old, I was always welcomed to stop by and feed my son and Miss Aida even helped keep me on track by calling me to confirm his next feeding that way he would stay on schedule.

Seeing my son’s face light up every time he sees his teachers is my daily reminder that I have made the best decision and I would absolutely make the same decision again!

DALLAS NEWS – Our Texas – Russian Newspaper in Houston, Dallas, San-Antonio, Austin, Texas

Thunderstorms on Thursday, September 2, left 9,000 residents of Dallas-Fort Worth without power. In addition, lightning hit the houses and caused two fires – one in Euless and the other in Southlake. Both fires were extinguished and there were no casualties. Strong winds caused some damage to the buildings.

According to the weather service, on Thursday morning in northern Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth) 4000 lightning strikes were counted. Although this number seems large, it is not a record at all. Sometimes thunderstorms bring up to 100 strokes within five to ten minutes, and the record numbers are 100 strokes per minute.

On September 1, the hunting season for pigeons (Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura)) opened. For hunting, you can only use a shotgun. The season will run until October 24th and then reopen on December 24th. You can start hunting half an hour before dawn and finish at sunset.

Who would be interested in this fact, except for hunters? Residents of the city of Frisco, for example, because hunting is allowed within the city. Since many parts of the city were still rural areas, laws still allow the shooting of this small game in the city.

True, in order to legally shoot pigeons, one must be within 1,000 feet of schools, hospitals, and kindergartens, and no closer than 600 feet from homes. In addition, you need to get permission to be on someone’s private property, otherwise you can get a fine.

If you live in Frisco and are concerned about the safety of yourself or your children, or if hunters are violating hunting regulations, you can report the police at (972) 292-6010.

On Friday, August 26, so-called “Bag Monsters” marched through the streets of downtown Dallas. The purpose of the demonstration was to draw public attention to the problem of environmental pollution, in particular, plastic bags. Each monster’s outfit—about a dozen in all—consisted of 500 plastic bags, since that’s about the number of bags people bring home from grocery stores every year.

The traffic leader is Andy Keller. The Beasts are currently on an American tour starting in San Francisco on August 12. The last city to demonstrate will be New York (September 15). Movement activists are fighting to ban the use of plastic bags and charge for the use of paper bags.

In an attempt to secure the city’s budget for next year, some members of the City of Dallas are proposing to charge residents for selling unnecessary items on their lot (garage sales). According to the estimates of those who made this proposal, the income from the sale of unnecessary things by the townspeople could bring the city about 500 thousand dollars a year.

This money is supposed to be used for free dental treatment for the elderly residents of the city, as well as for cultural events, removing graffiti from walls and cleaning the streets of the city from dead animals.

The question is, would such a move lead to a drastic reduction in garage sales, and as a result, much less money for the city?

In 2009, the number of Dallas-Fort Worth residents who died at work was 73, up 14 percent from 2008. This trend is true for all of Texas, where 480 people died in 2009 (in 2008 – 463).

Of the Texans who died, 104 (22 percent) died in road accidents and 68 were killed in the line of duty.

On Sunday, August 29, residents and business owners in a Fort Worth neighborhood (a few blocks from the intersection of Azle Ave. and Menefee Ave.) were terrified of a possible bomb. The reason was an incomprehensible package left by someone on a mailbox near one of the houses.

The police, who arrived at the scene, told people not to leave their houses and released a special robot that knocked the package off the box and doused it with a strong jet of water. After that, the police collected the remains of the package and quickly left to investigate the contents.

Residents of the area want to know what happened and whether they should be afraid for their lives and health.

Coyotes have been seen again in Richardson. This time, as seen on amateur film, they were hunting for a cat. According to the Parks Department, coyotes are quite common in the area.

However, this fact did not calm the residents of the city, who are afraid for their pets. One of the townspeople said that now she is afraid to walk her beagle in the back alleys even during the day. She also said that at night she often hears howling and scratching right at the window.

Other residents of Richardson have confirmed that they often see coyotes crossing the streets of the city.

On Thursday, August 26, a bullet hit the apartment of newlyweds Andres and Claudia Correa, located on the fourteenth floor of a building near Highway 75 in Dallas. The bullet shattered the window, flew through the living room, and ended up in the kitchen, hitting one of the kitchen cabinets. Andrea thought there had been an explosion.

The police called to the scene said that such stories happen with constant frequency: someone starts shooting into space, and the bullets hit the homes of innocent people. For example, in June 2007, a bullet fired on Highway 45 hit a pregnant woman sleeping in her apartment. The child could not be saved.

The young Correas consider themselves lucky. Half an hour before the incident, they were watching TV in the living room and would have been right in the path of a bullet. The police let them keep the bullet as a souvenir.

Roads are called “vehicle arteries” for a reason. Without a good “blood supply” there can be no development. A prime example of this is the city of Frisco, located in Collin County. In the early 90s, it was a small town with a population of about 5 thousand people. However, after Expressway 289, also known as Preston road, was expanded to 6 lanes, the city immediately began to grow, and now its population is 107 thousand. Frisco was ranked as the fastest growing city in America from 2000 to 2009.

Collin County is now planning to continue widening Route 289 through the towns of Prosper and Celina. Prosper will get a six-lane road, while Celina will get a four-lane one. These cities will be able to grow rapidly as road improvements will attract new businesses there, from restaurants and shops to various factories and factories.

Construction is expected to start next year and be completed by 2014. The approximate cost will be $78 million.

Well, not quite a striptease. A spotlight mounted on the roof of one of the strip clubs. This strip club called “Bombs” is located four miles from the Dallas Love Field airport. There is a searchlight on the roof to help visitors find the club.

However, on Sunday, August 22, a Southwest pilot complained to the aviation authorities that a searchlight blinded him as he approached the airport and created a dangerous situation on board. Typically, such searchlights do not pose a danger to overflying aircraft, since the angle of inclination prevents the rays from entering the cockpit. The strip club’s DJ suggested that the pilot just wanted to get free service at the club.

The administration is investigating, and the strip club, on its own initiative, turned off the spotlight pending a decision.
